Blanco Silgranit NAYA8

Cracked already After 3 years this sink has developed a hairline crack that goes right through in the base of the small sink. The 30 year warranty is worthless because blanco claims the damage did not occur in manufacturing or transport. I bought the white one. This sink always looks dirty and is impossible to clean. This is the worst sink I've ever owned. And now it leaks as well. Show details
Great looking sink for about 8 months – I bought the white NAYA siligent to put in my new kitchen , after about 8 months of being used carefully , it is stained and pitted , I contacted Blanco and was told that as this was not a manufacturing fault it was not covered under the warranty , It looks awful , they sent me a link on how to clean it which I had already been doing . Blanco Nava black double bowl kitchen sink – I too would have rated 0 for this product if there was that option. Very disappointed and it annoys me every day I use it. It chipped and has grey marks on side and base that I cannot get off I have only used dishwashing liquid to clean as advised by Blanco but it doesn’t come off. Blanco also said they do not cover chips . If I had purchased… Read more
cheaper copy I would understand you get what you pay for but went for Blanco thinking I was buying quality I also got the tap. Stay well away from this product and I will never purchase Blanco again.
Want a big kitchen Sink?? – We love our new kitchen sink! We purchased through Appliances Online and had it installed along with the Blanco Rock Grey tap. The rock Grey sink blends in well with our benches and people often comment how good and deep it is. You still need to be careful with the sink, we noticed a slight stain in the bottom of the sink however with proper care… Read more · 1
and cleaning it was removed, just need to remember it isn't stainless steel and treat it carefully and wipe it down after use. The sink is nearly a year old and still looks like brand new, no scratches or chips. If your looking for something different this could be it.
Faulty product, horrible customer experience – I purchased a Blanco SILGRANIT sink in Anthracite. Blanco advertised on their website that Silgranit is heat-resistant up to 280 C, so you can put hot pots and pans straight into the sink without any qualms and it won't suffer any discolouration. My sink had a white mark from resting a fry pan on it, the fry pan was definitely not exceeding 280 C… Read more
and so I lodged a complaint on Blanco’s website. Shriro, who distributes Blanco in Australia, organised for a plumbing company to replace the sink. The plumbing company cracked my benchtop, scratched the brand new sink and scratched my acrylic cupboard door below the sink whilst installing the replacement sink. Shriro has refused to rectify the issues despite them have a duty to as they organised the plumbing company. I will never buy a BLANCO product again.
I love the look but not the cleaning – This white sink looks beautiful in our kitchen and is very functional, with practical dimensions. I find it is very difficult to keep clean, however, and find myself scrubbing it every couple of days. I’m not a fussy housekeeper but am never quite happy with the result of my efforts. Show details
Absolutely perfect – Purchased this to replace a terrible looking stainless steel sink that was 3 months old. It's amazing, it does not scratch, does not dent and looks perfect every time I clean it. Show details
Perfect Sink with a great look – Purchased our double sink from Harvey Norman to replace an old SS sink. The new granite sink from Blanco has been really durable so far as we have thrown so many heavy pots on it and no scratch yet. Also, fro cleaning we have not used any specific product yet, simply washing it with some warm soapy water. Fantastic product indeed. Show details
Looking good – We bought this sink because of its size and style, and we are happy with how it still looks. I am not a fussy washer - no wiping down of sinks for me, just a quick spray of water in the bowl. Despite this, our Rock Grey sink still looks great. Would be wonderful if there were more accessories for this sink though. Show details
Best Sink I have ever had – Bought NAYA8SK5 in Anthracite @ Harvey Norman. The Black looks great and I like the way it sits on top of the bench as it is easier to keep clean around the top than under mount styles. Was worried about scratching but not a problem. Love the way the water seems to slide out. Easy to clean. My favourite purchase for the kitchen renovation. Show details
perfect sink - good quality, stylish and well designed – We installed the black sink in an all white kitchen. It looks amazing. People constantly commented on how good it looked. We have had no issues with it so far (had it for only a month). size is great. The pipe system under the sink was well designed and saves a lot of space. We installed double pull out rubbish bins under the bigger sink, and… Read more · 2
there are still space above the rubbish bins. Overall, a very good quality sink, which was well worth the money.
Water marks – I feel I have become a slave to this darn sink !!! I am forever wiping it dry otherwise it's a myriad of water marks - please think twice before purchasing - actually I have since heard of another black sink on the market that has a totally smooth surface that does not require constant wiping dry.
Blanco black silgranit sink – We renovated our kitchen, and although we did most ourselves, I wanted quality fittings and appliances. So I reviewed everything to death! Our Panasonic fridge (didn't even realise they made fridges!). Our 900 freestanding Westinghouse stove- both products really excellent and money I would spend again on exactly the same appliances. But the… Read more
outstanding purchase was our last piece of the kitchen Reno . . . Our sink.
Not many reviews on this anywhere. So thought I would create one for people like me who want honest answers.
We bought a Blanco Silgranit 1 and 1/2 bowl black sink and I love it. It is all that Blanco advertises and more! The size of the main bowl is huge. Fits all the large pans I can fit from my large oven and after I drain the sink the water practically dries off by itself! It's 80% granit, so it's lovely to touch and look at. We have so many comments on it. It has been in for approx 4 months now and it takes all i throw at it. I cook a lot and no scratches, stains or odor. So easy to wipe dry.
That's the positives. The negatives are small. I wish they made accessories for this, such as a strainer and wooden cutting board. I have bought IKEA ones and they fit over the 1/2 side on an angle as the main sink side is very large and I can't find anything to fit. That's it. No other negatives!
I researched black sink reviews, and all were expensive with pretty bad comments. That's why I thought I would add my positive review, for those that want to give their kitchen a money worth spending highlight!
