Bad product and bad company – I think I have the same problem as Amanda. Looks like they are a faulty product. Apparently they tried to flog off all their dodgy return stock through Lloyds who shamelessly sell them as "Like New" even though they know they don't work. Classy all round. Show details

two quite regularly, and also quit out of the applications (e.g. Netflix, Foxtel) quite regularly. Eventually had enough of this piece of garbage and bought a decent brand.

Sound works, but no picture – Tv powers on and displays no picture. Sound works only. Have to power the TV down and back on again to get a picture. Some times the restart doesn't fix the issue, so need to switch it off at the wall. Looks like a common problem with this model, a firmware update to fix this issue would be nice. Show details

Tv is advertised as 4k hdr ultra when its not capable of 4k – Tv was advertised as 4k ultra hdr 55" and it can only produce 1080p hd,no 4k resolution or not capable of hdr,it was an absolute rip off,should of just saved my $400 and kept my old tv,very angry Show details

Awesome Quality and Value – Bought from JB, $888.00 75” and looks bigger. It's a high quality panel, very intuitive UI, All the functionality and more than out $3,400.00 LG This is great all round smart tv. Only downside is the pre-set video settings are not adjustable, only the user mode. Highly recommended and very happy. Super clear, sharp picture and decent sound. TV fine but doesn't accept USB for playback – TV is fine. Colour etc is fine. Only thing that doesn't work is usb. Doesn't recognise it or the movie files despite them all being in supposed acceptable file extension types. USB works and plays fine in cheaper TCL and Kogan tvs. Show details

Had to return after 1 week – Great picture & easy to set up but watching any movie caused TV pictures to freeze. The sound would continue but the picture wouldn't update. improvement further questions were not answered. Good old JB HiFI Helensvale came to the party & exchanged the TV for another brand, The guys in despatch advised this was the 3rd time this model TV had been returned in the past week for the same problem.

The worst tv I have ever owned. Tv freezes all the time, contrast and picture quality is deplorable – Not a 4k tv as advertised, picture quality is the worst I've ever seen. Has become glitchy like above – Our TV is doing the exact same thing as the reviewer above. It becomes unresponsive, no picture and buttons not working. Stopped working properly – I had this tv for only a couple days before it started skipping and freezing. Buttons werent responsive until minutes later and it was an issue on all netflix, TV, 7plus and youtube. It now wont turn on unless i unplug it from the wall, plug it back in and press the button on the actual tv. Will definitely be taking it back and getting a new TV  Show details

Medium Resolution standards. The ABC 20 calls itself HR but only reaches less than 1280 x 720. The rest of the commercial stations is worse. For sure the screen has pixel dropouts under these conditions and it is not only this TV but also the other products in the market. If you want to watch HR or 4K TV you have to use YouTube and look for 4K and 8K recorded programs. Only then you can see the quality of this TV set. Mind you, you need a good NBN speed to reach these high-quality standards. - There is nothing wrong with this Blaupunkt. I made a test and re-batched a Sony Bravia 4K TV with a Blaupunkt name and the Blaupunkt with the Sony batch and asked several persons about the difference in picture quality. 90% of the test persons said that the fake, Sony batched TV was better than the real Sony Bravia 4K model. The test was done using 4K programs on YouTube. - DIFFERENCE: The Sony Android 4K model costs $3295 and the Blaupunkt Android price is $995. Price difference: $2300. In regards to the SERVICE by the Importer. I checked the knowledge of the support twice in regards to resetting the TV-set to the factory standard. I waited for about 5 minutes on the phone and got a speedy and knowledgable answer to my questions. The service was friendly and helpful. Complainers about this product are either paid by another company to do so or did it on purpose as the person was ripped off by purchasing another higher-priced brand and is angry about this. CONCLUSION: I am a scientist by profession and very critical of products. I do not like Chinese companies using product names of European or other countries brand names, for instance, MG, AEG, Blaupunkt, or Grundig. Nevertheless, Blaupunkt is a household name and the name and product are legally used by a top Chinese manufacturer producing the same product under another label for various suppliers. The fool is the buyer of these products not being aware of the price structure of the products. I am happy with my Blaupunkt (fake Sony batched) TV set and it works to standards and you can be assured I am not paid for by the importer or by JB Hi-Fi to write about this product. It is on you if you want to waste your money.

but that also means its a lot more delicate to lift and shift. As you face the tv a number of the connections are on the left hand side (as you look at the front screen) towards the lower half of the tv which makes them very difficult to access if you are putting the tv in a left hand corner of your room. But you really won't need to access these after set up so not a major prob. With this android style you lose the old style red and white cable plug ins and so need to use the optical if you want to plug in something that doesn't fit the USB or HDMI. We've only had it about 2 months and the optical connection seems to have failed (tried two optical cords and neither is working), pursuing the warranty. Really poor online help for this issue. This means we are struggling to plug in the headphones for the one hearing impaired person in the house and still be able to run the ordinary speakers for the rest of us. But otherwise its running fine. On the plus side the set up was easy, I found the remote more intuitive than some other reviewers (so suggest you just take 5 to get used to it). You'll need to connect to your wifi so have the password handy and then you can load the extra channels such as 7 plus (they don't come pre-loaded. Its not hard but beware the instructions are really badly written, took me a few goes to figure it out but again you only set it up once.
