Never buy a Blaupunkt QLED TV. We just purchased a TV kept it upright. Followed the instructions for removing from box etc. TV was busted. Took it in for return. The guy managed to turn it on and he could show me what looked like a damage point near the top of the screen. Like it had been tapped with a hammer. They are not accepting it as a return. I have no idea what happened to the TV but I just had to walk away having lost $417. Complete waste of money. Have to accept fault but really did nothing wrong. Can't imagine how this happened. Avoid Blaupunkt QLED TV. There is a reason why they are so cheap.
Purchased in at Officeworks for $417.
I don't have the product. I returned it in person to Office works. they refused to replace it. I wasn't asking for a refund. I left it in the store.
Buy a better quality brand than a Blaupunkt. These tv’s are cheap junk marketed as German quality, in my opinion. I’ve had 2 Blaupunkt smart tv’s and both failed just after the warranty expired with lines and blocks of colour running down the tv screen. Also, universal remotes won’t work with Blaupunkt and replacement remotes are not cheap. Won’t ever be buying one of these things again. Be warned. My issues seem to be the same as many others here. Buy a better quality brand. Very unhappy as I’ve spent a lot of money buying these tvs. One of them was not used much as was in a second room.
Purchased in for $560.

What a waste of money – Wasted money and many hours trying to connect it to the internet. Chat service wants bank account details in order to assist you. I would not recommend this brand.
Purchased in for $459.

Terrible – Have only had this tv for 3 years, 5 months. I have had it on for approximately 5-7 hrs/day. The screen is now displaying vertical jittery white lines that occur not long after turning on. My son is an electronic engineer and says he likely won’t be able to source parts for repair in Australia. So not happy.
Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $800.
Hi Julie520, May you please try the troubleshooting steps below?
IMPORTANT NOTE: All TV setting preferences will be deleted.
Using the Remote: • Press the HOME button on the remote control • Select Settings • The next steps will depend on your TV menu options: • Select Device Preferences — Reset • Select Device Preferences – About – Reset • Select Storage and Reset • Select Factory Reset • Select Erase Everything • Select Yes.
If ever you need help, just feel free to send us an email at info@ayonz.com and we would be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you
We did all that and still no good. My sons an electronic engineer, do you think we didn’t try all that first. The problem of sourcing replacement parts is the issue that looms large, we’re in a major state city, in Australia , so no excuses. And then there’s the price of the parts, and waiting months for them to be imported. How long does one have to go without a tv? That’s for Blaupunkt company to deliver on. Not happy still.
Warning: Don't Buy . A piece of junk. Item returned and refunded – EDIT: Since leaving the review below I have returned the TV for a refund. Even the online retail store I purchased the TV from says it's a "piece of junk". They are now refunding all customers who have purchased a Blaupunkt panel. There are many issues with this TV, but the primary issue is that it can not cope with a 4k HDMI signal. Attempting to input a 4k signal sees the TV periodically go blank or display gibberish.

If you are after a quality "branded TV", this model, or in fact any of the Blaupunkt range is probably not for you. This TV is simply a generic Chinese panel with a Blaupunkt badge on the front. There is absolutely no reference to Blaupaunkt within the menu system of the TV.
You can buy this generic TV (with or without smart tv functionality) in Australia under a number of different brand names, most notably Kogan.
The menu system of the TV is VERY POOR. The GUI is amateurish, the remote cheap feeling and the button layout cluttered. But worst of all, the manual is absolutely useless. It's merely half a dozen A4 sheets stapled together into a booklet. This is possibly the last TV that a non-tech minded person should buy.
All that said, I've found the picture quality quite good. The sound quality is above average for today's thin TV's. It has a good number of connections and a few advanced audio options like HDMI ARC for those using an AV receiver.
This is the first time I've owned a TV other than Sony, and frankly, the difference in the GUI and the quality of the remote are quite stark.
