After five attempts to get Service I was told that they couldn't identify which fireplace I had. And they didn't have any parts or anything for it – this is after they're a very weird rambling call-center conversation I had with a support person. Our fireplace -that cost $4,000 to buy and install-broke down after 5 years and I guess they have lost interest in older customers. OK yeah --they suk. I don't believe the 5-star reviews here--- NOPE... Show details
Blaze900 Wood heater – We are so happy with our Blaze B900. It lights in seconds and heats up our large family room. We don’t need any other heaters on. It looks great especially sitting on the glass coffee table. Would recommend this 100% Show details · 1
Wood burner, not wood heater – I bought the inbuilt 520, 2 years ago and find it does not heat a fairly small area, despite closing off all the adjoining rooms. For the amount of wood it burns, it is not efficient. Very disappointed, also Smokey when lighting it. My friend calls it a wood burner, not a heater. Looking at extending the chimney flue to see if anything improves.… Read more
Looking to replace it soon. I originally ordered a Nectre, but the installer tried to tell me it was a Nectre, but it wasn't. Nectre sells them, but nothing like a Nectre. You have to stand right next to it, to feel any heat. Not happy or warm.
Very disappointing – I hesitated so long but last year finally decided to change a very old heater that still heated my home beautifully but was churning out wood too fast and no longer safe. My local dealer advised me to buy a Blaze B900. By buying a brand new heater I was hoping: it would heat my house well (not a big house, just the usual 3 bedroom, one bathroom,… Read more
open kitchen/lounge/dining), it would be more wood efficient and it would smoke less. I have found this device seriously wanting. It doesn't even heat the main room well, unless I am seated right in front of it, or unless the fan is on max, making a deafening sound, unbearable. I have gone through 150 dollars' worth of wood in a little over a month, winter has hardly started!! I told my dealer and he said I wasn't filling the box well. I find the box is so small compared to my old one. So many pieces of standard wood pieces don't even fit unless I hack them myself. Choose a better brand!
Disappointed – I can’t say we are entirely happy with our blaze B900, same as everyone else’s problem it’s smokes our house out. It was installed at the end of winter 2017 in the August, and today started it for the first time since last winter and the fan isn’t working, rang for a price $300 for fan or $200 for remote control plus the service call , not happy when you work out how much use we got out of it. Plus it doesn’t heat the whole house Show details
A dreadful design that is all looks and no performance – I am trying to heat about 250 square metres or was trying to until I realized the heater was not up to it. The fire box is small and the only air inlets are at the top. It was also lined with fire bricks that severely restrict the size of wood you can fit. If you put large pieces of wood in the fire just dies before the wood is burnt. To run it… Read more
you need to use relatively small pieces of wood and keep loading it all night, leaving plenty of gaps so the wood burns. I am using mixed hardwood that has been dried 2 years minimum. If I really want to zoom it up I add some pine. I can get it so hot you cannot touch the handles but the heat generation is not enough. It has an inbuilt fan which has 3 speeds, noisy, very noisy and unbearably noisy, but it does not seem to push out much air. I have a 6 star home with argon filled double glazed windows so it should not take a lot to heat. I took out the fire bricks but the fire box is still too shallow to do a lot with. If you try running it overnight it turns the wood to charcoal and cannot run all night no matter what you do. I have given up trying to heat the house overnight and turn on the reverse cycle heater. The glass does stay relatively clean. I would never recommend this to anyone. It is the third wood heater I have owned and the worst by a big margin. I am planning to replace it over summer even though though it is less than a year old. DO NOT BUY ONE.
Blaze b900 – This fire looks great, and heats our house effectively. Its fan seems to jig up to medium or high speed automatically which can be quite noisy for watching the tv. You can turn fan off to resolve though. Show details
Smoke – Smokes inside the house sooo much. We bought it for the big box and window but it is unusable because the house instantly smells when you open the door to load another log. Worst purchase ever Show details
Such a bad investment – Heater is a bad design. 1. It smokes inside home a lot 2. It puts out 50% heat of any other heater 3. You cannot have the heater run in high for more than 10 minutes. 4. The baffle size is half the size of comparable ones, hence, if you run it high, you will see your flue metal getting red hot. 5. Chews lot of wood. 6. Doesnt fit the… Read more

Dont even waste your money on this.
https://youtu.be/9l3y4flacok Check this to believe.
You cannot run heater fully open more than 5 minutes and most of heat escapes due to the baffle design. Look at heaters like Arrow or Coonara, see their baffle plate designs and look at this. You will see for yourself.
Baffle plate size is 50% of others, this means, you will see flue from within heater, which means, your secondary combustion or gases / heat just escapes via flue...
