Blink Mobile Broadband
Worst customer service possible. Don't sign up to anything with this company.
Signed up via Harvey Norman to a contract 10yrs ago, but was not aware they were still charging us monthly on our business credit card. They did not attempt to contact us anytime during this period to ask why we were not using the service, but happy to keep billing us. They stated they didn't not have our contact details?????

Worst Experience Ever
Too bad there is no 0 rating, one star is a complement in this case, it is simply the worst experience I've ever had.
The customer service is offshore in India and the reps attitude is so bad, he is so lucky that he does not live in OZ, otherwise i would've tracked him down. Three times I ask for escalation and to speak to a manager and they keep telling me he will call you back... Never happened.
You better off to stay with no internet rather than getting this service. it's a shame that we have such crap company to be called Australian.
Shameless exploitation
My 89 year old pensioner parents have been hoodwinked into signing up for a service they do not use- the internet. For many years money has been paid each month to these shameful exploiters.

Blink shame on you!
Be careful of this company for many years they have been taking money out of my account, I don’t use their service. I bought one of the Internet dongle’s years ago and don’t use their services. They have been slyly taking money out of my account.
No good company
if i could give 0 stars i would
absolutely disgusting company. Got 2 internet dongles from them 7 years ago. Tried to cancel years ago then find out they're still taking my money. 4 years worth of payments and i haven't even got the dongles any more. Apparently they don't check if someone isn't using a product. No email or nothing to say hey, we've noticed you haven't used this service for x amount of time, are there issues? not even received one email from them. Yes i know i signed a contract but the principal of the matter is this company has been taking my money for ye...
Read morears for a product I haven't used for 4 years, and they were more than happy to keep taking the money. I know the onus is on my head for not checking earlier, but I find it absolutely disgusting they didn't even care that they'd been taking my money for years without the product even being used. offered no compensation or any apologies. its the PRINCIPAL. Ugghhhh I hope you go out of business quick smart, now that you won't be taking any more of my 'free money'.BLINK Internet - Do not sign or accept when offered to you by a IT reseller no matter how attractive
Was offered the service by Reseller Harvey Norman when buying a laptop 4 years ago. Not much information given. Also not much paperwork provided. Only the person was good salesperson and it was cheap. He must have received a pretty good commission for every one he could sign up on. Luckily was only around $10 pm that was deducted monthly direct from bank acct. Stopped using them after one year and have tried in vain to find way to contact and cancel. Bit hard when you don't know your account etc. So eventually they sent out letter to collect l...
Read moreate payment and that is how managed at long last after 3 years to cancel. Warning and word of advice - people should not sign up to anything that they do not get paperwork for even no matter how attractive or cheap the cost etc. Make sure you are in control of the sign up and get paperwork for it and you have a way to contact to cancel etc. However during the period of the use - first 6 months was ok but then not ok as needed to upgrade etc and lack of contact and paperwork did not help hence why stopped using after 6 months of sign up. So yes having been paying $10 pm for 3 and half years for non usage &t they definitely benefited from non usage for that time.Related Articles

I had a situation where I couldn’t access my email account and changed my mobile phone so I had no details to go with.
I had tried repeatedly to cancel my blink internet because it was not used at all but it wasn’t until today that someone actually gave me the information I needed and a phone number to call that I got anywhere.
Apparently according to their Terms and Conditions I should have been aware of it.
How the hell would I be aware of it if I had no access to communications from blink and had changed all of my details?
So Blink...
Read more charged me $49 for YEARS before I could get to actually cancel my account and they say it’s my fault as I should have known! No! Sorry! Not my fault at all! They had access to my home address and SHOULD have made an effort to contact me! Blink should have reimbursed me!- 10 reviews

Was Reliable Service.
I had previously used Blink mobile broadband for a couple of years. Actually found the support staff very approachable and I never had to wait too long on the phone for responses. The actual broadband service was reliable and I rarely experienced any dropouts. Any problems that way, they were soon to respond if I left an email message or rang. I recall being in hospital once for an extended period after sustaining injuries, and I was able to negotiate with support staff for some extra gigs at very economical rate given my predicament. Staff were very considerate of my situation and generous. When I swapped to another service, again there was no problems in communication and cancelling my Blink account was done without hassles.

Terrible customer service and cancellation policy
Agree with others who have had issues with cancellation and Blink continuing to take fees, despite request to cancel. I was also unaware that I had overdue fees until I got an email from their debt collector, which I naturally assumed was spam. I then tried to clear this up with Blink and just got push back and poor customer service. I don’t usually write reviews but this has been the worst experience ever. Don’t go with Blink.

This company continued to take money out for 6yrs after I cancelled my account. They hid the payments under a different name and then when you bring it up with them they curse and hang up every time you call.

Extremely dishonest.
I had a plan with this company for twelve months and used little of the data in this period as my place of employment paid for my Data usage.I was willing to accept this as this was no fault of BLINK.Being extremely busy working, I had not realized that after the expiration of the 12 month plan, this company continued to deduct money upwards of 15 months after the plan expired. I made many phone calls and was told they would reimburse $38. This company is extremely fraudulent and I will be taking this up with the Ombudsman. As the plan was $79....
Read more00 per month, they have made an extremely tidy profit with no data usage during this time. Do not have any dealings with this company. The plan was organised through Harvey Norman when purchasing a product. Will never again deal with this Fraudulent Company.Find out how Blink Mobile Broadband compares to other Mobile Broadband Providers

The most dishonest company I've had to deal with.
Gone to the Ombudsman...this is the worst customer service, I cancelled my blink plan a year ago & have just found out a couple of months ago after being hounded by a debt collector that no-one ever cancelled my plan and apparently they had no record of the call. I've been charged without using any of their data. Payments have still been coming out of my account No data has been used & at no point was anyone looking to help me with my situation over the phone, just rude customer service. Very sneaky company who know how to exploit their custome...
Read morers. I've since been to the Ombudsman & instead of me paying the 59.90 that Blink had put into the debt collectors hands to get off me, they have had to pay me over $200 that they fraudulently took out of my account. If you have a debt collector ringing you telling you that you owe them money after you have cancelled, report them straight to the Ombudsman...This seems to be happening to a lot of people...AVOID BLINK...Scammed and theft
Prepaid wifi month to month basis. After I cancelled my account with 12 months later a debt collector emailed saying I owed 89.90. Wanting to clear it off my credit history I paid it thinking it might have been a cancelation fee. Two days later I received another debt collector letter for 59.95. I rang the debt collector and because I paid the last amount Blink states that my account is activated and can con tone to charge. I rang blink who state I never cancelled. I still have the sorry to lose you here's a survey email they sent me, but they say that's not proof enough. They then would not let me cancel unless I paid. National merchant and Blink are thieves and I would never recommend them to anyone. Terrible!
Fraudulent use of bank account details. Police should arrest this bunch of crooks.
I undertook a wifi service with blink of which I was not dissatisfied with. After about 3 years, I stood on the wifi dongle and snapped it. I shopped around to get a replacement but soon realised I would have to buy through them. So I ordered and paid for a new dongle. This arrived 10 days later, which was as long as they said it would take.
I commenced with my internet connection immediately as it had been 10 days since I logged in. Alas the dongle did not work in any of the 4 ports in my laptop, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc etc ...
Questions & Answers
When the home internet fails, I've used BLINK on and off for about a decade just for sending emails. (I never consumed much of their data.) In the first few years when I had the odd question I phoned their customer service (in NSW, I think) who provided helpful info and spoke Aussie English. That all changed about six months ago when a BLINK salesman phoned me and tried to move me on to an expensive plan I didn't need.
I'M WONDERING WHETHER BLINK HAS CHANGED HANDS IN RECENT YEARS as I'm contesting BLINK's bill and its policy of engaging without prior warning to me a debt collection agency whose policy of virtually doubling the bill overnight, also without prior warning, is likewise being contested by me.
This old age pensioner with an unblemished credit history finds BLINK's attituded difficult and not easy to follow as its representative spoke English with me in a heavy Indian accent. Please be aware that as an Esperantist I am in no way racially prejudiced. I'm just stating a fact about the difficulty I had re his spoken English. It seems conversely (and perversely!) that he failed to understand my instructions in Aussie English.
The legal advice I've received today for contesting unsupported claims is that it is BLINK, and-or the debt collection agency in question, that is obliged under Australian consumer law and the Debt Collectors Code of Conduct to provide customers with evidence supporting their demand for money and that it is BLINK's duty in cases contested to provide extant contractual obligations. As a first step should you seek to contest the matter as an issue of justice you could consider asking the Australian Complaints Authority to resolve the matter after asking BLINK to withdraw its claim or to adequately support it with evidence backed info.
Why cannot I cancel my subscription
You need to call them and ask them to cancel as the idiots keeps your subscription active even after the contract ends.
Does anyone have a number for Blink? I am trying to get a hold of them to cancel my service with them but the number that they provide on the site doesn't even ring and just cuts out.
