Very good value – This Bluetooth enable headphone was very well spent money. At only $40 I can't find something to complain, it is beautifully designed, the battery lasts a very long time, the sound quality is great and the Bluetooth range is also reasonable. It folds nicely & come into a different selection of colors. Show details
Can't live without these Bluetooth headphones – These headphones are the perfect Netflix companion for me. I can cook while watching my shows from the iPad. I also use them to listen to music while I clean the house or work in the garden. The range is about 15m I guess, before there's any static. Also the battery is long lasting, with even 12 hours binging I only need to recharge about twice a week. Nothing like the cheap ones I wear to the gym, they last 1.5hr then flat. Show details
The Beats are Gone! – I have one track I use to test every headset I can lay my hands on. Bluedio R is in a category of its own. I have never experienced frequency separation like it, but there is no heavy area either. Sorry to be a little unobjective but; the Beats are gone. Show details

head as you look through the vast array of headphones that flood our market regularly, it's not easy.
I have been searching for something that is wireless affordable and reliable.
I recently came across a company called Bluedio and their set of Cans called Bluedio
Revolutions.
I Already owned a pair of t2+, and these were absolutely brilliant, but I wanted something more, something different especially an over the ear one since I have rather unruly huge ears.
Price $60- $90 Mid Range.
Boxing experience.
The boxing experience is first class, exactly what you'd get from buying a premium set.
The box itself comes in a beautiful black with a nice picture of the revolutions on the front, rundown of the headphones on the back and specs to the side. You'll know if you've received an original pair because Bluedio places a Bluedio sticker on it that can be scratched away, this reveals a code which you can look up on their website.
What you get,
1 x micro USB cord. Charger not included.
1 x 3.5 Aux.
The cords are of a premium quality with gold tips and the micro USB is a flat cord.
Looks.
There are 3 types of colours in the Revolutions line up which are, Red, Black and White all with a gloss finish.
On the left side is the reflective Bluedio logo, with a circular mirror finish, and on the right are the buttons with the same mirrored circle, this design makes it very premium looking.
I went with the black one at the end.
They look quiet unique and very contemporary, they do tend to replicate a certain brand everyone is accustomed to.
On the band is the word Revolution, you'll have to have a cloth with you, due to the fact it's a definite finger print magnet.
Materials.
The materials used through out is plastic, the plastic is sturdy enough, but I wouldn't be bending the band to a point of no return, because it will most likely snap, the band is made of plastic and is reinforced with metal, giving it that extra bit of protection.
Under the band are 3 rectangular polyurethane foam filled cushions and the cans are also made of foam and polyurethane.
Comfort
These headphones are over the ear, and are very comfortable the foam on side feel like they are filled with air and feel dense. There is a little clamping but not enough to cause discomfort.
As I have mentioned prior I have big ears, and my ears fit in these cans perfectly.
You can wear these for hours without discomfort, you might have to manoeuvre them a bit, only because the area will inevitably be warm from prolonged use.
This is no issue just lift off and then place back on.
Weight 280 gms
These headphones are really light, the only way you know that they are on your head is the fact that you can hear music from the headset, other than that you wouldn't even know that they were there.
They are very light.
Noise Canceling.
Being over the ears but not noise cancelling, they still do a good job of isolating sound from the outside world.
when music is on outside noise is down to a minimal, I would be careful using them out and about.
For planes I wouldn't recommend them at all, they would definitely be no good for this situation.
Connectivity.
These have two options of connecting to your devices, you can either pair them to your phone, tablet or Pc via Bluetooth. Pairing is very easy, you just have to hold down the power button on the Bluedio headset until it says Bluedio on then a sencond or two later it says paring, then when this happens, on your phone, tablet or pc you go into your Bluetooth setting and choose the one that says Bluedio and press to pair, it will take about a second to pair and your on your way.
If you don't have power you can always use the Aux 3.5 ml cord that came with it.
You can also get another headset and plug in their Aux cord into your headset to enable them to listen to what your listening to, this is a great way to share music without any hassles.
Battery life. 25-28 hours.
The battery life on these cans are not phenomenal but still rather impressive for Bluetooth headsets, this is because of Bluetooth 4.0, reducing power consumption, this benefits the battery making it last longer.
Bluedio claims that they last up to 25 hours hours, this I can attest to. they usually last me 2 weeks until I have to charge them, that's using them for 2 hours roughly a day.
Which is pretty good for Bluetooth headsets.
Build.
The build on these aren't the strongest, I wouldn't be bending them to much, due to the plastic headband, but if take care of they should last a very long time.
Speakers. 8 Track.
Your probably wondering what this means?
Well basically this means 1 can has a 50 mm driver or mini woofer with 3 tweeters, giving it 4 speakers in one can, all up 8 speakers in both. The tweeters are placed at the top back and bottom of the cans.
You won't get big brand names giving you these many speakers for under $100.
Sound out of the box.
To me sound is a personal preference, and headsets should never be bought on sound quality that's heard for the first time, that's why there are equalisers, to give each individual the ability to create the perfect sound, that there ears are accustomed to.
These headphones are aimed at contemporary music, it has great bass, which is deep tight and strong, but this doesn't mean you end up sacrificing the mids and highs, but this obviously depends on the music you listen to.
Out of he box these are not the best for classical music.
With equaliser. (Recommended)
I personally like my music experience to be more on point with clarity. So for personal use I like to equalise all my headsets. (Which I personally believe each individual headset should be)
When I tweeked the equaliser setting on my LG G3, the sound (to my taste) was amazing, lows spot on, mids where they should be and highs perfect.
Now doing this allowed me to listen to a vast array of music and not just contemporary.
I downloaded an app on the play store, the app I used was Aneq this is a great equaliser, but if you have your own, use the one provided.
Specs.
Bluetooth: Yes
Bluetooth version: V4.0
Bluetooth distance: W/O obstacles 20m
Bluetooth protocol: A2DP,AVRCP,HFP,HSP

These do not have FM or SD feature.
But the bigger brother does the Bluedio Legends +.
Conclusion.
For the price of less than $100, with Bluetooth connectivity,
8 speakers, comfortable fit and great design, you can't really go wrong with these over ear cans.
This is a definite recommend, great job by Bluedio.
