Good experience – Purchased 17 years ago. Still working OK. Only service call was when a mouse shorted the pcb.

Boniare BI12OD (Good For Nothing) – My Bonaire Dual BI12OD Dual Cycle Refrigerant Cooling & Gas Heating System. I had my unit installed in my brand new house. The air con worked fine for less than a year (it cooled the house down on hot days). Until the day it stopped working and started blowing out warm air. I have had countless problems with this system over the 5 Years. Never worked good again since the first problem. (Never have had the house cooled down on hot days after that. The system always trips. It worked fine on day one. I tell them, why not now?)

I have had endless callouts, during the warranty period. In most cases works for a week, then it blows out warm air again. Please read other reviews on the Bonaire brand first before you make a decision.

Bonaire are Rubbish – If you were thinking of purchasing a Bonaire product and have found this review then you are in luck. Dont buy their products - they constantly fail and finding replacement parts is impossible. We spend upwards of $9000 and when the fan blades packed it in the company was unable to get replacements. No one had any solution or any great interest in trying to fix the problem.

Make no mistake - BONAIRE ARE A RIP OFF

Dont believe the sales talk, don't believe anyone who claims the units are fine and are supported by a parts network. We waited 12 weeks for the replacement fan blades to come and they did not fit and the company couldnt priovide ones that did.

If you still purchase Bonaire after reading this then you deserve all you get.

The worst! – Do not ever buy any Bonaire, Celair or Pyrox product. Do not purchase anything under the Climate technology banner. Unit lasted one summer, National service manager does not return calls or emails. have now resorted to consumer affairs to try get my unit fixed which still has 3 and a half years warranty on. Consumer affairs are also getting the same response as me. paid $11000 and this is the service they give. NOTHING! EVERYTHING!

Piece of junk – Don't buy it , Don't buy it . you will be wasting ur money on this garbage . Put a new one in my brand new house and the refrigerating is terrible . it was 42 this summer and after 5 hr operation it manages to decrease it to 39 . called the service and believe me this mob all they want is ur money and they won't give u anything in return . i got a reply from them to contact the guy who put it first to check the problem . Done that and he doesn't have any clue about what is wrong . Rang them back and they told they will charge me 200 $ to get another guy to come to check even if still under warranty .

doesn't cool enough , high running cost even with the 4 star system
