Bondi Protein Co Chocolate Flavour Slimming Protein

So Far So Good – This is my second week into using this product. I'm pretty happy with it. The chocolate taste is nice, but it's a little too sweet, so I used one scoop instead of the recommended two and that cut down the sweetness to a manageable level. Since starting the shake, I've been experiencing lethargy, light headedness and some headaches but that's probably because I didn't use the recommended dose and I'm eating way fewer calories than I was before. So I've been experimenting with the best way to feel full after each shake and keep the cravings at bay and I've found the right mix now.

The solution for me was to use 1 and a half scoops of the product in 500 mls of skim milk, once scoop of another brand's flavoured collagen powder and a tablespoon of thickened cream. That cut out the side effects while maintaining a tolerable level of sweetness. It also gave me enough good fats to feel full without negating the weight loss effects of the product. Now I feel full after each shake and I don't even think about food until I get close to the time for another meal. I have two shakes a day plus a healthy meal and I'm eating lots of good food for my one meal to feel full. Even with all these alterations to the dosage, I'm still eating fewer calories than I was before starting, so I'm not worried not losing weight.

The mixture doesn't dissolve too well in water or milk but I bought myself a shaker with a spiral ball mixer and that did the trick. I add a little water to the powder first and give it a good shake, once it's dissolved, I add milk a bit at a time, shaking well in between and that gives me a nice smooth shake without the lumps.

I don't exercise because I hate it and I have a very busy lifestyle which doesn't lend itself to any formal fitness routine. But I've noticed my pants are a little looser than before. I deliberately didn't weigh or measure myself before I started because that's too stressful. I'm just going by how my clothes fit. I really like this shake. It's much nicer than the other brands I've tried and it's good value for money because I don't want to have to buy more every week ($37.99 for a 1 kg tub). It comes in strawberry flavour as well which I'll be trying once I'm done with this tub. I don't know if there's a vanilla or coffee version because the chocolate and strawberry are the only ones I found in Chemist Warehouse.
