Can't fault it – I have almost finished my first 4kg pack of this whey protein powder. I am about to order my second pack. I can't fault this stuff. I currently have the banana flavour and it tastes great. It mixes easily, better than most other protein powders I have used. Foaming Issues, Hard to Drink – Foams so much that it’s hard to drink. This is the “natural” whey protein product. The appeal for me was the no fake sugar / sweetener. But as it also had no flavour or real sugar, the plan was to add my own flavour and real sugar in a shaker or blender. Mixability - It takes longer to properly mix Up to same standard as Opt Nutri. I found it more lumpy hence more time and mixing to make it smooth.

Bloating, yes often it caused bloating

Ordering and delivery - I think it took 2/3 days to ship, and arrived day after shipping. I am only 150 Km away

I gave Up a try based on reviews here, and the total no of reviews. I received an incentive to put a review here, go in the draw for a free supply. This was an eye opener for me. I looked at all reviews, and filtered out the one and two word reviews, in case they were just for draw to win free supply. Had I done this the first time, I doubt I would have tried the product. This has been a learning experience, and in future I won’t be putting any importance on one/two word reviews on any product.

some Micellar Casein Protein Night Recovery, order came to over $700 and still wouldn't budge on free delivery? They almost lost the sale but I'm use to the product so I stayed.

I mix it with water, mixes very well. I find the product gives me a boost during my workout and I have one directly afterwards.

The 34 and 36.5 (XHL) grams of protein are a bit disingenuous as the body can only process/use 25grams of protein per hour for muscle rebuild, the rest is urinated out. So the extra grams of protein are a marketing ploy.

The company is sneaky as they slip in a "Tell Us How We Did" card in their orders, write a review and possibly win back the cost of your order, obviously anyone hoping to win back the cost of their order is less likely to write a bad review.

I'll just be honest. The product does give me a boost, doesn't taste to sweet, Chocolate water is the best way to describe the double choc flavour, palatable. Mixed with water, it hits the blood stream quite quickly, I sip through out my 1hr workout and I get an energy boost within15mins. Price is reasonable but fluctuates in less than a year. Delivery was good/quick as well (apart from the cost). I continue to buy as it's an Australian company (so are a few of the other though). If someone else came into the market with the same product but cheaper I would switch in a heart beat.

Are there other companies out there making the same thing with the same ingredients, sure there are.

Is this companies product any better, NO.

As long as you are comparing apples with apples any quality protein powder is going to help.

Shifting Gears – I waited until at least halfway through the 2kg bag so I could write an accurate review. I can honestly say, so far so good. Getting the right amount of protein to match your training needs can be a challenge and UProtein has met all my goals.
