on lower water throughput rates, so you can't have an economical shower from a water consumption perspective.

My other Bosch products work well and have lasted well, but this unit is a disaster. I wish I had kept my 30 year old unit instead of optimistically expecting lower gas consumption from the Bosch unit.

wont buy another one – Bosch 26 eco has failed for the second time in 4yrs,repaired the first time under warranty about 18mths ago.I have two other non eco bosch hot water systems that work well,with one of them about 15 yrs old.I definitely would not buy another bosch eco.

Waste of money – Hot water just trickles in.Can make a cuppa before it gets to the shower.6 weeks per bottle's not good enough.Should have stayed electric.Expensive to buy and instal

Great Machine – We have had our Bosch 26eco for over two years. Running on bottle LPG. Initially we had a problem with a hot shower going cold as the heater turned on and off and on and off. years and have never had a problem, this one is on gas mains (natural gas). Very cheap to run. Love it. Quite expensive to buy.

Water Waster – This system is a great way to waste water. I've had it for two years and in that time its performance has gone from terrible to bad. It would take around four minutes to get hot water to the shower and I would have hot water for two minutes and then cold for two minutes and then hot again for two minutes and cold for two minutes. After a year it seemed to fix itself and now it doesn't do that anymore. But what about other areas of the house I hear you ask?

I don't bother trying to get hot water to the ensuite basin anymore as I grew a beard just waiting for hot water to come out of the tap. I now keep a kettle close by if I need hot water in the basin.

I've also given up trying to get hot water to the bath tub as I felt really bad watching hundreds of litres of cold water run out of the tap and down the drain; I kept thinking about thirsty, drought stricken people while I waited impatiently for the hot water system to work. There was a couple of occasions where hot water was emitted from the tap but it didn't last long before it turned cold.

That's why I call this system the water waster. It (now) works best in the ensuite shower where I can have long hot showers. It wastes water and can turn a dreamy shower into a reality check.
