Bosch GRA 18V2-46 Professional
VerifiedMPN: GRA18V2-461 review
This Bosch mower is my third cordless mower after the Husqvarna and the Greenworks. The Husqvarna second battery died premature, and I don't want to spend further $ on this product. The four-year old 43cm Greenworks mower is still running well albeit the motor is not as powerful as the Bosch, but this is not the fault of this mower, it's simply the cheapest and smallest in the range. After the warranty expired, the mower was washed with garden hose and so far, no adverse effect on its operation. I carefully let it dry under the sun before use. So, when the Bosch 46cm model is on sale and because I am using Bosch power tools, I grabbed it without hesitation. The Bosch is definitely more powerful, more solidly built, also bigger and heavier. Using two 8Ah batteries, I can comfortably cut the 12mx9m backyard and the 20mx2m nature strip including picking up debris on the footpath and the road along the kerb with a bit of battery reserve. The Bosch is close to two years old now and the only missing piece is the left-hand red plastic knob cover on the joint of the U-shaped handle. I guess I have rubbed the knob against a wall without noticing the missing plastic cover for a while. Bosch should redesign this part to prevent this happening. Apart from this trivial issue, the Bosch is a strong, solid mower with good powerful motor and would last a long time similar to the Bosch cordless tools I have. When on sale this mower represents very good value for money. Highly recommended.
