Amazing oven, cannot live without it – We bought this oven to replace a very old Smeg. I cannot begin to describe how amazing this oven performs, and how it has totally changed my perspective on what you can do with this humble already-in-every-home appliance. To begin with, the manual provides simple but detailed recommendations for cooking almost anything, down to which type of oven tray to use, on what level, what type of heating mode, and the temperatures and cooking times. This is great for things like oven-baked chips - a disaster in our old Smeg, but in this oven, with the recommended "Pizza" mode (who would have thought ??) they come out absolutely perfect every time.

When you register the oven, they send you out a cookbook specifically for the oven - which has some great recipes in it, that the family have loved - including roast chicken, beef and pork, and some amazing cakes and desserts.

The oven boasts once particular magical automatic setting, that needs to be mentioned - "PerfectBake". When cooking a cake (or a number of other different types of baked items) you simply follow the instructions on what level to place it, and tell it what you're baking, and the oven takes over completely. You don't tell it - and it doesn't tell you - what temperature it is at, there's no pre-heating, and you have no idea what stage it's at. But when it tells you that your cake is finished ... it is! It's amazing and every time we have used it the cake has come out absolutely perfect. It truly is amazing!

The roasting probe is also great - allowing great control over cooking meats.

This oven has truly transformed my opinion on what you can do with an oven, and my wife is even happier that I am doing more cooking (guys beware) - especially when I turn out amazing and perfect roast pork belly crackling (yum!)

If I could give this review 0 stars, I would have. Spent a small fortune renovating our kitchen and bought all Bosch equipment. Big mistake. We bought on this oven in 2018. It keeps breaking. In 2023, the whole right side of the touch screen stopped working. We had to pay for a technician who "re-calibrated" the screen and charged us $300. For… Read more

weeks, it has been hard to use the left side, and for the last week, the whole left side has stopped working altogether, you guessed, we now have to pay for another service. Not sure if it is a re-calibration or a whole new part. The Bosch gas stovetop is also problematic with some not staying on and literally un-usable. Microwave oven is the only thing that hasn't actually broken down. Never again!

5 years old already falling apart – Hi Bosch, I have a Bosch oven HRG6767S2A, about 5 years old and the touch screen display panel on its left hand side no longer works. I’m aware it’s out of its warranty period however it shouldn’t fail after only 5 years. It seems to be a manufacturing fault with the screens not engineered to handle the heat that rises. I’ve been quoted $180 call out fee by bosch’s subcontractor which seems a bit steep for a product design fault. Show details

Fatally flawed BOSCH oven – I purchased the Bosch Series 8 Built-in oven with added steam function 60 x 60 cm Stainless steel from Appliances online on 12/11/2018. Luckily I bought the extended warranty, because the touch pad failed just after 2 years, and now again has failed , rendering the oven unusable, as you can't set the heat. The part alone will cost $600 without… Read more

Bosch have been very helpful and have gone above and beyond to rectify the issues – I purchased is oven and a compact Steam oven around 3 years ago. Both have moderate use and now they are both having serious control panel issues where I cant use many of the oven / stem functions. This has happened to both and that share the same type of control panel so obviously a product fault. Contacted Bosch so put me on the their service… Read more ·  2

provider. Looks like minimum fix will be $800+ each and I need to purchase the panel upfront. This in not acceptable given there appears to be some serious issues with the type. or at least the batch of panels used in the two ovens. I expect I am better off buyer replacement products as fitting two more like panels I expect could be a temporary fix as they would likely end up with the same issues. I have purchased numerous Bosch appliances in over the years but never again I I have to resort to replacing two 3 year old appliance. I will also warn my clients of the risks associated with quality.

Touchpad failure – Obviously the touchpad is a major problem for a lot of people. My oven is 5 yrs old but for the price I paid for it plus all the other appliances for my new kitchen you would think the warranty period would be longer on so called higher quality products. Book with BSH appliance repoair service, do not use any other appliance repair services – We have this oven for about 3 years, rarely used, started with 2 or 3 button not responding, now whole touch panel not responding. The touch screen won`t last long with this type of appliance. Fix the touch panel parts is 750AUD+, plus appliance repair labor cost around 150AUD for initial call out fee. Update to my review: We have our oven… Read more

fixed today. BSH Service team performing extremely good job, full of experiences, they know what they are doing. We got discounted rate on service and spare parts. We can not expect the appliance never goes wrong, with this acceptable repair cost means a lot to the customers. 5 Start to the customer service team.

A side story, we booked another appliance repair services before book with BSH. Let`s call them WorstCompany since I will not release their name. Book with the WorstCompany repair services is definitely wrong decision, hope you learn from my experience. My result: They charge higher call out rate than BSH The technician arrived, has no idea how to open the touch panel, not to say start fixing it, so he has done nothing at all, waste me 10 days waiting time. The technician admitted he do not know how to fix it, and admitted he done nothing, but we HAVE to pay him, otherwise he is not leaving our house without seeing the receipt. He told me to pay and get money back from the service centre. We call the service centre, the service team negotiate with me how much to refund back to me, take 20 minutes to argue with the service centre to agree for full refund. To refund, we have to sign a refund form which state I have to accept "Not to post any negative feedback online otherwise liable for legal charges to remove negative feedback". I am not agree with the refund condition so they are not refund back to me. So my case escalated to a senior concerning team staff, another couple round of debate with the concerning guy take me more than 2 hours in total. According to him, the product review, google review will not impact their business, my feedback will sink along with other good reviews. They really disappointing so I decided not asking for refund, drafting my experience to share on product review and google, send a compliance to fair treading. Their Managing Director call me, apologise what they done wrong, and signed the refund. For this reason, I agree not to post my bad experience online against that appliance repairs company.

Share my store here, not to complain the other appliance repair company. Just want to say if you have a product need to be repaired, book with the manufacturing/official rather than any company found from google, even they stat they can fix this brand.

Touchscreen and service issues – This oven worked well for 4 years then the touch screen gradually died. Had that replaced at my own cost as out of warranty no real issue. replacing. My repair tech has not had much assistance from Bosch's online tech support and when I tried to contact them they left an email saying they would contact me but that was 3 days ago and no joy yet. It is really disappointing that the technician appeared to have no way of assessing all the issues before commencing the repair job and that I have now spent $900 and taken 2 afternoons off work and still do not have a functioning oven.

Another touch screen failure! – Oven touch control started playing up within 2 years of purchase, has been a problem ever since and now given up the ghost and asking $722 to repair. the touch pad, just needed a good clean. Had my suspicions at the time of purchase that the touch screen would not be up to the job. Given the price asked for this oven i will move to Miele in the future as their stuff works and when it breaks down they back up their items even when out of waranty for a number of years. This compares to Bosch's customer service who accused me of having a pest infestation (offensive and incorrect) to get out of any futher liability following an enquiry as to if the current issue was still related to the previous call out in 03/21. It appears from other reviews that my experience is not a one off (both the product and service response), that the touch screen failure is a regular occurance and that customer service will look for any excuse. So different to my experience with my Miele washing machine. Definitely avoid at all costs this companies ovens and go to the other German brand.

Poor Product Quality – I purchased my Bosch equipment for my kitchen based on the expectation that they create quality products (being German developed). is the second time a Bosch product has not lasted - obviously the quality of Bosch equipment has significantly declined - they just don't last. The oven I had to this Bosch one was half the price and lasted around 14 years. Based on consumer guarantee I understood products must be of acceptable quality, that is safe, lasting, with no faults. Clearly Bosch is not producing products that meet this guarantee and from what others have posted this is clearly a product and quality defect/issue with the products that have been sold to consumers.

So disappointed with the purchase of this oven – Purchased a “top of the line” model from Bing Lee after the salesman gave it such a good wrap. of the touch panel has stopped working and nothing can be selected. We have turned off power at the switchboard for ten minutes or so a few times to no avail. Basically now I have an “expensive” oven that has the basic function of “ON” and “temperature”. Nothing else can be selected. No cleaning, no automatic cooking, no steam function, no timer, no fast heat up. I am using my iwatch to set a timer! I called Bosch service centre and up front they want $145.00 call out fee, a huge hourly fee billed in ten minute blocks and also the cost of parts, (which I don’t know what the cost will be). This is unbelievable. For the money I paid originally, I expected to get more use before paying for repairs. Obviously there is an issue with the touch panel used in these models (hence my first replacement oven). Bosch, please admit this model was a “lemon”. Do the right thing and recall the ovens and replace them. I will never buy another Bosch. You have lost me as a customer with the potential to promote your company products because you show no responsibility for selling a faulty product. Word of mouth or product reviews are a powerful tool. For what it will cost me to repair my oven, I will just buy a new one. Probably a Miele, as I have dishwasher, washing machine and dryer that are Miele and never had a problem. Yes, a little more expensive, but they have great reviews and imo worth stretching the budget to get a quality product with what I’ve read also a great support company who value their high paying customers!

that the overall quality is excellent. Nice even heat, cooks extremely well with fast heat up times and appears to be super energy efficient.

I haven't run the pyrolytic function as yet, as there hasn't been a need to (even after doing a couple of pork roast) the cavity has remained very clean.

My one gripe with this oven would be the grill function, and the heat settings. Unlike my previous ovens, I'm not able to select a temperature with this function. Instead there's a low (1), Mid (2), or High (3) setting. I'm sure once I get used to it, it'll become second nature.
