Made in Germany...disappointed purchase – Machine whilst works well but the cosmetic part of it is terrible quality. The bosch logo doesn't last. Keeps falling off. The chrome handle develops hairline crack in less than 2 years of use. Was replace the first time around FOC by bosch and it happened again less than 1 year after it was replaced. One would expect a made in Germany product… Read more
have good quality control. Rang customer service team about it and am told there will be a charge for parts and labour simply because it's out of warranty.
Dishes NEVER come out fully dry even after extra dry option – I got a Bosch only because of all the positive reviews and how they are always no1 dishwasher brand blah blah (even though I am beginning to believe they moderate the negative reviews heavily). In fact this happened to me when I attempted to leave a bad review on their website and I was moderated coincidentally my review was not published. I got… Read more
the black build-in dishwasher as a part of my new house and I ran it a couple of times and all the dishes were not drying properly. I thought i was doing something wrong so I attempted various settings with different dishwashing tablets and the result is always the same. I then went online To Bosch for help and they have all the 'excuses' covered so as to absolve themselves from any responsibility. These 'excuses' include, not using the right/enough rinse aid, not using the right dish-washing powder/tablet, not loading the dishes properly etc. So basically they are trying to blame the user for every possibility. I ran the machine on AUTO which is 2.55 hours long so it is not a short program, there is an 'extra dry' mode however even then the dishes never come out fully dry. I have been told to open the door after the drying cycle is finished so as to dissipate all the steam to avoid condensation however even then the dishes are still not fully dry. My old Smeg appliance never had these problems no matter what rinse aid i was using (sometime i was not using any at all and dishes were still dry!). To blame rinse aid and dishwashing powder manufacturers is really a very cheap shot and frankly disgraceful. I learned my lesson first time Bosch and the last.
Dishes never come out fully dry even after extra dry option – Every time I start it even after choosing extra dry all dished still wet... my last one in rental property did much better job then this one ... I hope they exchange it ... I choose it as I need black in kitchen Show details
Good design, German made, very quiet – This replaced our 10year old Dishlex. The interior is a great design and very flexible, and we like the cutlery drawer, as it frees up space and is fast to dry and put away. Initially found the cleaning poor - e.g. fat left on plastics, but then I added a little more (eco-store) powder and got great results. I expect if you use heavier chemicals… Read more
(Finish) you'll get better results from the start. My conclusion is the low water use + bigger loading capacity means more soap is needed. In use it is very very quiet, and we tend to use the 30min wash. The most economical wash takes 3 hours which is just silly as once you allow for drying, your dishwasher is out of action for half a day and dishes are piling up. Installed it looks very neat and smart, with no buttons on the outside. Be aware there is no remaining time visible while it is in use, and DIY installation took me a LONG time following all the steps - don't expect to drop it in and connect the pipes in 15mins. I hope the price premium and German manufacturing translates to longevity, sure seems well engineered and built. We are also glad to avoid buying from a country of origin who's government is bullying Australia and her industries.
Great Performer – Bought this dishwasher at a great price through Appliances on Line. This built under model with very dark gray door colour matches our kitchen cabinetry colour almost perfectly so many people don't even see it. Installation is not quite as easy as pushing a freestanding model under the bench, but if you're a bit handy, you can install it yourself… Read more · 1
without too much drama. It operates nicely, is very water and energy efficient, quiet and cleans everything well. I like the cutlery tray at the top as our old dishwasher had this and we are used to it. But this one also comes with the traditional cutlery basket that sits in the bottom tray if you want that option - but then you lose that space in that bottom tray. The middle tray is height-adjustable which means you can fit larger than normal dinner plates in the bottom tray - which we needed - but we can also still fit normal size wine glasses in the middle tray :-). Drying is not perfect - mainly plastics don't dry completely, but show me a dishwasher that does dry them completely! There is a super-dry option if you want to use it and that would probably dry them but we prefer not to use the extra electricity that requires for the sake of a quick wipe with a teatowel. China and cutlery dry perfectly. I would recommend this German-built high quality dishwasher without hesitation.
Great dishwasher! – Awesome dishwasher! Very easy to use controls and the unit looks great with no visible buttons on the front of it. We have ours under a bench so it looks built in. Our dishwasher is still very new but we haven't had any issues with it so far. Most of the time you can't even tell it's on it is so quiet. The best features are the pull out cutlery… Read more · 1
tray and that you can adjust the height of the top rack so you can fit bigger dishes in. Highly recommend this model!
