urgent and contacted Bosch. I explained the situation and asked for an urgent repair. The customer service arranged a call in over a week later - which firstly considered to not be an urgent response. Regardless, the technician came onsite and sure enough diagnosed the problem as a catastrophic failure. Said it was a 'near miss' and that he had never seen such an extreme failure before (photos provided). He put forward his report with the recommendation the the oven be replaced. That was a month ago. In that time, I've called Bosch several times to follow up. Was told on both occasions that I have a a case manager and the case manager will contact me within 24 hours. I'm still waiting. I have found the customer service of Bosch lacking and it's made me question Bosch products in the future, particularly as this product failure could have ha catastrophic outcomes for my family and I.

Don’t waste your money!!!! Our oven is 3 years old and stopped working. Started smelling funny and then made a bang sound. The cooling fan fried itself and blew up. Bosch quoted close to $1000 for the spare part. Wish we went with another brand!!! Show details
Crazy Fan Behaviour – The oven cooks food okay, but … Sometimes the fan turns itself on, even if the oven hasn’t been used for several days. oven while hot always steams up my spectacles, much more than any previous oven. Rotating control is often hard to rotate, it’s a poor design.

Had to unplug and now can’t cook – Within a few months of this wall oven being installed it started turning fan on by itself. At first I could turn it off by turning it on for one minute and then fan would go off after timer ran out. But now it doesn’t turn off at all. could try plugging it into a powerboard that’s easy to switch off BUT that means resetting all the parameters like language, time, settings. It’s been such a problem, I’ve rarely baked since I bought it and resigned myself to using the microwave.
Heats the house as well as the food – I really like this oven for cooking, but it seems to be constantly trying to cool itself by venting heat into the kitchen via the gap above its door. If we cook a roast the whole room gets too hot by the end of it! I wish it would just cook the food, not roast everyone in the room. I seriously regret this purchase – We bought an expensive oven assuming it would be with us for a while. The touch screen was temperamental within a year and the right side stopped working pretty soon after the two year warranty expired, closing off most of the headline features like pyrolysis cleaning and steam. I am not interested in paying the price of a new oven when every review has the same problem and Bosch has clearly released a lemon All the people giving good reviews in the first week of operation are going to be back with bad reviews unless people expect to pay over $2000 for an oven that doesn’t work much more than 2 years
