will get a text message from the service department to organize for someone to come and fix the oven as it is not heating at all. No one showed before Christmas and when I called them to follow up they could not find my complaint number which means the request was not logged at all.

I had to request this again to be followed up and the again the same thing was told that someone will contact me via text message to fix the unit and charge me for service call but realistically there should not be any charge as I have not used and oven itself is faulty which needs to be fixed by Bosch, so far no one has contacted me for service call.

pressure on it to make it move. I had thought that it was like another electronic system where just your finger touch moving on the surface would make changes. To their credit this is covered indirectly in the Troubleshooting section where you learn that you can easily remove this dial and clean behind it if it does not move/register. (2) The non-inclusion of a second wire shelf (Bosch is now not alone in this deletion) was a shock and that I had to buy the second shelf separately for Australian $72 including shipping was less than inspiring. Overall very pleased with this product. Bosch service is excellent and responsive.

Replaced the previous model and couldnt be happier so far – We has issues with the back panel rusting out of our previous Bosch oven. We were given this model as a replacement. Already we have noticed a huge difference in the way things are being cooked. Cookies are cooked evenly, our roasts have perfect crackling and tender meat. The wire racks that come with this oven are different to the previous model but I feel I like these better. The last model's wire racks could extend out on wheels making it easier to check food. This model however has normal wire racks. Making the racks easier to clean and you can place them on any level.

I love the soft door function. Meaning if you are pulling hot trays out of the oven you can easily push the door up and it closes itself.

Again like the previous version the front glass doesn't get hot - makes it great if you have kids. I have also found that this oven doesn't blast out hot air from the front of it like the previous model. It has a neat little thing on the front that tells you when the temperature is cooled down.

We are yet to use the pyrolytic function and will be unlikely to use it anytime soon so I cannot comment in that area. All in all though, we are enjoying this oven. It feels like a far better model to the previous version.

Touch buttons stopped working – Oven only 1.5 years old and the touch buttons stopped working! Can’t select cooking options. Now need to chase up for repairs. I expect top line over last longer than that and should be fit for purpose! A very dissatisfied owner. Show details

DONT BUY A BOSCH oven in WA – Dont buy a Bosch oven in Western Australia.. if it has a problem like the $2000 one I just brought at Good Guys there is basically no avenue for your warranty to be honoured.. Worst Controls on the planet – Worst Oven Ive ever had the misfortune to own. Pro- - Oven Heats decently when it decides it wants to operate. Cons- - Open Oven at any decent temp and Steam will scald you so stand back. - Try and set timer and press start and it doesnt start it sits there waiting for you to press start again. sometimes does, sometimes doesnt. Set time watch it start to count down and walk away; come back 10 minutes after the end time should have happened and its paused at 2 seconds past when it should have started in warm mode having heated up the bacteria in the food to a balmy 35 degrees.

- The controls are bad and unresponsive.

- The first time I used the Grilling tray to grill it bent, poor qaulity racks including only 1 wire rack.

- Instruction booklet is useless, still cant work out grilling temp scale.

Great oven so far – The oven looks very good and cooks very evenly and certainly quicker than my old appliance although have only used a few times to date..Took a little time to master the controls correctly.Yet to use the pyrolylitic function. Broken after 2 weeks – I did like how the oven performed after install, however after only 2 weeks it failed. An error was displayed E0532. I have had to contact Bosch 3 times to arrange a technician, who was due today. After no one showed up and chasing the technician again, I have now been told, parts are required which will take an additional 5 business days, once Bosch has approved the repair. Good looking unit – Well I have only had this for 3 weeks as I moved into our new home and here was no dishwasher. Very clever unit. tells me when there are only 2 rinses left so add some more rinse aid. No buttons on the outside so kids cant play with the switches, very very quiet which is a plus, easy manual instructions, I pressed the wrong cycle and it was easy to change it over. didn't have to read the whole book. Looks good, works well, pyrolytic cleaning so so – I have recently had 2 of these ovens installed as part of a new kitchen renovation. We bought these ovens as we have used their sister brand siemans (loved those ones) in another renovation however the price point on the bosch this time was the selling point for us. not. My biggest gripe would be the pyrolytic self cleaning function, it's pretty woeful. Even after a clean on the highest setting I'm still left with marks in the oven which I have to get in and scrub which defeats the purpose, if i wanted to do that i wouldn't have bought a pyrolytic. It just doesn't seem to heat high enough to turn the dirt into dust which our last siemans oven was amazing at. While this oven is by no means cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.

Efficient and sleek – This oven is great. It is simple to use (once you get the hang of it!) and intuitive. It seals well and doesn’t let hot air out once it is closed. There is a function where you can set what time it starts and when it finishes so you can set it and then leave the house and come back to a cooked meal! hadn't been warming up. Has a few aspects to it that are a bit frustrating! Also the screen kept going a bit funny at times & I had to switch it on and off to make it come right again.

Easy to use, but still learning settings – I love my oven. In fact, I have 2 of them mounted one on top of the other. They are super easy to use and cook evenly and quickly, consistently. I have had a little trouble finding the perfect setting for baking cakes, but I’m sure with a little time and experimenting I’ll work that out too.  Show details ·  1

You can't go wrong with Bosch – This oven is one of the Bosch appliances I have at home. To be honest, I have been using Bosch appliances for years and the quality is just superb. Good oven – This is a good oven. Nice features. Easy to program thus far. Labels are clear and functions are easy to identify. Clock is also easy to set (unlike others i have had). Works until it doesn't – The product was okay, it worked well for the first couple of months and then the heating component gave in. Was covered by warranty, but it was a little bit of a hassle in getting it sorted with Bosh. It's definitely value for the price you pay, just make sure you get that extra warranty in!  Show details

Best oven in history and no wait times or burnt meals! – Bought this oven after old one died. The oven cooks perfectly and evenly. The rapid heating only takes 2-3 mins before the oven is ready. All meals cooked in the oven have been perfect no burning. Being a pyrolytic oven this means you wont need to use chemicals to clean it. It's great. Easy to clean, good quality - made in germany – We chose this oven as it was made in Germany and had the pyro cleaning function. We have only used the cleaning function once but it works very well. Much better than having to use harsh chemicals! The oven is very easy to use, easy to clean and cooks nice and evenly. Good – Great oven! My wife and I purchased this oven twelve months ago and it has been one of the best additions to the house. Intuitive, easy to use buttons and menu. A Lemon – Purchased April 2017. Since then 4 warranty service calls over a two month period to date. Electronics completely replaced. Now found exhaust fan failed. Attempts to install a replacement failed with error messages so old fan reinstalled to allow the oven to at least be used while the issue is reviewed. it needs to be watched closely. Clock resets to a different time overnight for reasons yet to be explained. Have requested a replacement and been advised by Bosch they are waiting on the latest service report. Will update on progress but it is my strong suggestion based on our experience to buy something else if you prefer roasting reliability not to be an electronic lottery.

A follow up on my post above.

After the service report was lodged I had to chase Bosch about whether they had received the report and what was to happen. They agreed to a replacement but all was still not smooth sailing. I then received an sms from the original supplier to say my new oven was to be delivered the next day. I had to contact them to there would be no one there to receive it so could we make it the next day? No problem - delivery made and lemon removed. Luckily my son-in-law is an electrician so he was able to install. Replacement oven in use then a couple of days later I get a message from Bosch regarding making arrangements for delivery of my replacement oven!!! Had to ring them to say it had happened some days earlier. Replacement has functioned since installation without issue.

Bosch oven – Used the pyrolytic function to clean my oven it started to smoke burned my glass, I rang warranty they said I needed to clean the grease in oven first so what was the point of buying a self cleaning oven extremely disappointed very unhappy waste of money. Is it worth the extra money? – I really love a lot of things with my new oven. The style is beautiful and easy to clean the outside without leaving marks like some others do. The sliding trays are really well worth it, it makes it so much easier to get things out of the oven. It cooks beautifully and the self clean sold me haha. Can be difficult to operate – Food cooking is good. Front panel can be cumbersome to operate. Item was purchased as a replacement for a Bosch device which had a PCU compromised by an adventurous cockroach. Product came with a $200 gift card. That took a couple of months to arrive. Easy to clean. Roasting the best feature so long as the food is covered with foil to facilitate convection.  Show details

Once we worked out how to manage the settings we were delighted with the performance – It heats so quickly- well compared to our old F&P which was 14 years old. Had to ring Bosch to work out how to work grill, they walked us through it.
