A great oven. Cooks well. Sliding shelves work really well.
The one really difficult and annoying part of the whole oven is the rotary selector. It is really hard to turn and I have arthritis in my hands, which makes it nearly impossible. I really need Bosch to invent a better system that can be installed in all the older models to replace their rotary selectors. Please let us know when you've done this and I'll be the first to trial it.

I very much regret this purchase.
The control panel is one of the least intuitive ever. You need the instruction book for simple tasks like changing the time. The "rotary selector" -its dial for changing settings is very difficult to rotate and you have to jam your fingernails behind it just right to turn it. Once it's going it's OK. Definitely not recommended. Fix your user interface, Mr Bosch!

Touch buttons stopped working
Oven only 1.5 years old and the touch buttons stopped working! Can’t select cooking options. Now need to chase up for repairs. I expect top line over last longer than that and should be fit for purpose! A very dissatisfied owner.

Not heating at all and just sitting there as a showpiece - NSW
We bought this brand new Bosch Serie 8 HB672BS1A pyrolytic oven considering the best product in the market but it seems that this was the huge mistake that was made and also their customer service department is useless and does not help either.
I called Bosch customer service way before Christmas and was advised that someone will contact me or will get a text message from the service department to organize for someone to come and fix the oven as it is not heating at all. No one showed before Christmas and when I called them to follow up they c...ould not find my complaint number which means the request was not logged at all. I had to request this again to be followed up and the again the same thing was told that someone will contact me via text message to fix the unit and charge me for service call but realistically there should not be any charge as I have not used and oven itself is faulty which needs to be fixed by Bosch, so far no one has contacted me for service call.

DONT BUY A BOSCH oven in WA
Dont buy a Bosch oven in Western Australia.. if it has a problem like the $2000 one I just brought at Good Guys there is basically no avenue for your warranty to be honoured..
Wish I had of brought the Electrolux one instead..I have hit an absolute dead end with Bosch customer service.. no one will come out to look at it or return a call .
Purchased in October 2019 at The Good Guys for $2,000.00.
We should have purchased another Brand
The oven is great, Oven appears to cook food evenly the grill is good, the best feature is the rapid heat setting (preheat) that gets the oven up to temperature very quickly, the only reason for the 1 star they do not have a Service Agent in Gippsland where I am located and if it develops a fault it's my problem which has been the issue with a cooktop I purchased at the same time. Bosch don't want to know you when this happens. They don't call back, Customer service is not good. I have been chasing them for weeks.
Purchased in April 2019 for $1,199.00.

All product faults are installation faults
I bought this oven from Appliance Online and got it installed from licensed carpenter. We noticed that door is not aligned and oven does not sit properly in the cabinet. My carpenter showed me that the diagonals differ by few millimetres. When I raised complaint for the first time they warned me if it is installation fault I will be charged. Since then I have sent many photographs details and two engineer have visited from their partner as Bosch do not have their own engineers. First engineer tried to fix the door to an extent. The second engin...eer showed spirit level that since the oven is not levelled it is unaligned. We have tried to explain Bosch that my cabinet is perfectly levelled but we had to intentionally put support as oven is shorter on one side. However they are not ready to listen or escalate this issue. The oven has no functional issues.

Worst Controls on the planet
Worst Oven Ive ever had the misfortune to own.
- Oven Heats decently when it decides it wants to operate.
- Open Oven at any decent temp and Steam will scald you so stand back.
- Try and set timer and press start and it doesnt start it sits there waiting for you to press start again. Set time and wait for it to start it sometimes does, sometimes doesnt. Set time watch it start to count down and walk away; come back 10 minutes after the end time should have happened and its paused at 2 seconds past when it should have starte...
Great oven so far
The oven looks very good and cooks very evenly and certainly quicker than my old appliance although have only used a few times to date..Took a little time to master the controls correctly.Yet to use the pyrolylitic function. Cools down relatively quickly and can’t wait to try some cake making as I think it will do an excellent job.
Broken after 2 weeks
I did like how the oven performed after install, however after only 2 weeks it failed. An error was displayed E0532.
I have had to contact Bosch 3 times to arrange a technician, who was due today. After no one showed up and chasing the technician again,
I have now been told, parts are required which will take an additional 5 business days, once Bosch has approved the repair.
Come on Bosch, I expected better from you! Extremely disappointed!
Good looking unit
Well I have only had this for 3 weeks as I moved into our new home and here was no dishwasher. Very clever unit. tells me when there are only 2 rinses left so add some more rinse aid. No buttons on the outside so kids cant play with the switches, very very quiet which is a plus, easy manual instructions, I pressed the wrong cycle and it was easy to change it over. didn't have to read the whole book. I love it
Looks good, works well, pyrolytic cleaning so so
I have recently had 2 of these ovens installed as part of a new kitchen renovation. We bought these ovens as we have used their sister brand siemans (loved those ones) in another renovation however the price point on the bosch this time was the selling point for us. I like these ovens, they're ok, would I buy them again or recommend them? Probably not. My biggest gripe would be the pyrolytic self cleaning function, it's pretty woeful. Even after a clean on the highest setting I'm still left with marks in the oven which I have to get in and scru...b which defeats the purpose, if i wanted to do that i wouldn't have bought a pyrolytic. It just doesn't seem to heat high enough to turn the dirt into dust which our last siemans oven was amazing at. While this oven is by no means cheap, I guess you get what you pay for.
Efficient and sleek
This oven is great. It is simple to use (once you get the hang of it!) and intuitive. It seals well and doesn’t let hot air out once it is closed. There is a function where you can set what time it starts and when it finishes so you can set it and then leave the house and come back to a cooked meal! It seems to steam food more than crisp it up.
Nice looking but can be annoying.
Bought this oven because it looked great and I liked the idea of the dial and the pyro element. The pyro part is excellent, it cleans the oven really well.
The dial is fun, but a bit of a pain esp when trying to explain to older people how to use the oven. I would often think I'd turned the oven on and only realise later that I hadn't and it hadn't been warming up. Has a few aspects to it that are a bit frustrating! Also the screen kept going a bit funny at times & I had to switch it on and off to make it come right again.
Easy to use, but still learning settings...
I love my oven. In fact, I have 2 of them mounted one on top of the other.
They are super easy to use and cook evenly and quickly, consistently.
I have had a little trouble finding the perfect setting for baking cakes, but I’m sure with a little time and experimenting I’ll work that out too.
Great Oven - and good like all Bosch items
Extremely great value for money. You can not go wrong with Bosch. We also have the Bosch induction cook top and washing machine.
It took my wife a little while to learn how to do the controls because it was new to her but now great. The central control is great once you understand it
We are pleased with the way it cooks.

great oven, love the easy cleaning and instal, we built a brand new kitchen and its slick design looks stunning in the kitchen. Food is always cooked consistently there are no surprises with this oven and I love all the different settings for different meals like the roast meat, chicken settings etc which are easily accessible.
You can't go wrong with Bosch
This oven is one of the Bosch appliances I have at home. To be honest, I have been using Bosch appliances for years and the quality is just superb. You can't go wrong with Bosch. This oven looks great in the kitchen and it's easy to use. So far, I have no issues/complaints about this oven.
This is a good oven. Nice features. Easy to program thus far. Labels are clear and functions are easy to identify. Clock is also easy to set (unlike others i have had). We have found food to be cooked evenly. We love chocolate cake and we get perfect results every time with this oven.
I am not use oven frequently, I bought this one after my kitchen renovation done, choose it because it is made in Germany. It looks good, easy to use, easy to clean, cook food evenly and nice. Preheat is very fast. It is also very quiet when working. I love it.
Questions & Answers
HRG6767.2A When setting oven temperature for cooking is ok but when adding the cooking time nothing happens. Can press the cooking time button as hard as you like but nothing appears, therefore have to use another timer.
The computer set up in this oven is woeful that slow to change you just have to be patient
with it until it decides to cooperate. It is a pain but in the long run it will function as designed. This defect will continue to give you a headache but in the end it will work fine.
I've just had my bosch series 8 oven installed. I know how to change the language. My stupid question is which one is English because they all still show other languages. Thanks.
Go to the basic settings page in the book for instructions. Next on the touch screen on the oven go to language settings English should be there once you select English MAKE SURE you save the settings for English language.
Hi, I am unable to set the time as the clock function will not work. I push & push and nothing. Can I repair this button myself or need a repairman?
Hi I have not had this problem but I would try by disconnecting the power switch off on your fuse board give it about 60 seconds then turn it on again. That should reset the computer function within the oven. Hopefully this will solve your problem. Last resort contact Bosch. John
