Poor battery. Useless after 1 month – I purchased this vacuum cleaner in Dec 23. I used it a couple of times a week in my small 1 bedroom apartment with wooden floors. The battery barely lasted the length of time 10-15mins, max. Even when fully charged. Then after 1 month it stopped working altogether. Very disappointed in this product as I felt I was buying quality but it has proven otherwise. I wouldn't recommend buying. Show details
RELIABILITY AN ISSUE – I had to replace the first one after one year and now two years later the second one has failed. I use a lot of BOSCH appliances in my home but im beginning to doubt their reliability. My previous washing machine failed also. Apart from reliability, this vacuum was good to use. A bit heavy, but easy to operate and good power. I am very disappointed in BOSCH. It might be time to look at another Brand. Show details
Battery dead after 15 months of daily use – The device itself is fine, cleans well, and is less noisy than other products. However, the battery only lasted 15 months. Given that a new battery costs $190, buying this product will cost you the initial purchase price (of about $400) and another $13 PER MONTH! Therefore, I can not recommend buying this vacuum cleaner. Get something else instead. Show details
Disappointed – I purchased this product only 4 months ago but battery is already dead. Called customer service but keep getting transferred to another department and never answered. It used to be a great brand but not anymore. How disappointing. Show details
fully unsatisfied with this product – I am a long-time user of various BOSCH appliances, including a washing machine, coffee machine, cooktop, and vacuum cleaner. However, I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with the BOSCH stick vacuum cleaner I purchased in March 2024. Firstly, the suction power is far below my expectations. Even on Turbo mode, the performance is only… Read more
marginally better. Secondly, the battery life is a major issue. A full charge allows for only 10-15 minutes of vacuuming, which is highly inadequate. Finally, the vacuum cleaner has now completely stopped charging. When connected to the charger, the white light turns on but does not blink, and after a few minutes, the light goes off without charging the vacuum cleaner.
I reached out to BOSCH customer support, and they sent a new charger. However, the new charger did not resolve the issue, indicating the problem lies with the battery or charging unit. This entire process took two weeks. When I contacted customer support again, they had no further solutions and offered only a refund of the product's value, excluding the delivery fee and extended warranty fees. Fortunately, I had not paid for the extended warranty. Additionally, I was required to return the defective product to them.
While I have no problem returning the defective item, I am extremely frustrated with the time and money wasted. It has been over a month now without a functioning vacuum cleaner. BOSCH's stick vacuum cleaner and their customer service have been incredibly disappointing. I am fully unsatisfied and do not recommend this product to anyone.
Battery issue – We purchase this vacuum 3mo ago and now it’s not charging. When I plug it to charge it is blinking (white) and full stop to white before it goes off. But when I try to use it automatically blinks in red like as if ain’t charge. Show details
Great vacuum and fantastic customer service from Bosch – I really love this vacuum, it’s light and easy to use. Being able to use Bosch batteries in it is a game changer. The turbo button really increases the strength, I am very impressed. My previous stick vacuum also a Bosch had failed and their customer service looking after me was nothing short of amazing. Disappointing for a trusted brand – Disappointing. Poor performance from a machine of which I had high expectations. Pointless using it on anything but turbo mode, and the battery only lasts minutes on this setting. I would return it for my money back if it was easy to.
Lasted 3 years – We thought it was the battery that was the cause of the cleaner not working, it was confirmed the motor has died. We only had this vacuum cleaner for short of 3 years, not worth the money, im glad we kept our dyson as a spare, will be going back to using this, will not purchase another bosch product again Show details
It works really well – Not much else to say. I'm glad I got this one which is $50-100 more then some generic branded ones. It works well, charge holds long, and it's built well too. Show details · 1
Great performer – Have been using our unit for about a month now and have no complaints. The unit is easy to use even for my disabled partner. The unit works very well on both carpet and tiled floors, rarely have to resort to the turbo mode. Big plus for this unit is the ease of changing batteries in the future with lots of genuine and aftermarket batteries available. Overall we are very happy with our Bosch Serie 6 Unlimited vacuum cleaner. Show details · 1
Expected more from Bosch – Used on tiles and carpet mats. Battery didn’t fully charge or last a complete clean from day one, is now not charging at all. Suction average and dust/crumbs/dirt fell out when suction stopped. Was easy to use apart from the difficulty with the battery and suction. Best things were going bagless and the ability to take the roller out of the head for cleaning purposes. Very disappointed in the battery and suction given it is a Bosch product. Show details
Battery is no good – My 93 year old mum bought this vacuum cleaner in August 2022 and the battery has already given up. She charges it up and it lasts a minute, and the red light stays on. So much for an expensive vacuum cleaner, this one is rubbish Show details

Battery is seriously flawed – Bought Series 6(BCS61113AU) from kogan website and cant believe the battery works for 1 to 4 minutes and dies after that , have tried charging it in so many ways but just doesnt work . Unbelievable that the product is made in Germany of this quality . Extremely confused whether the issue is in battery or the product Show details
Average suction, small crumbs fall out of the vacuum once it is turned off – Good: Lightweight, multiple attachments, good battery life Bad: Average suction, need to go over the same spot multiple times, or use the turbo mode. The most frustrating aspect is once the vacuum is turned off any crumbs it has collected fall out! This occurs on both tiled surfaces and carpet. Show details
VACUUM SCRATCHING FLOORS – Started out ok when new on carpet and hardwood floors but just lately has scratched our timber floors badly . Found wear marks on baseplate and it has hardly any clearance. Have bought new baseplate but it has low height wheels to start with again. We can not afford any more damage so looking for another brand. Show details
Love this vacuum – I have loved my Bosch vacuum since purchase last year. Love that I don’t have to hold the power button in. The suction is strong and deals with the pet hairs no problem. Filter is easy to clean. So happy that I chose this one. Show details
Weak suction power – Doesn’t suck solid objects since the very beginning and the small ones that are sucked drops once stopped. Purchased about 19 months ago and not used very much at all. Show details
Battery Life Poor, won't connect to charger – I've had two of these now. First one wouldn't charge properly due to poor connection with charger. Returned to Harvey Norman for a swap. Same problem with replacement. Has trouble connecting to charger and battery life if very poor. Lasts only a minute or two. Taking this back also to get a different brand. I've had plenty of excellent Bosch… Read more
tools and appliances but this thing is a piece of crap. The vacuum itself seems good, it's just either a terrible charger connection or the battery is too weak for the machine perhaps.
Fantastic little sucker – Excellent suction ( 2 options ) , fast charging , super light . Fantastic vacuum. Very happy with my purchase. Show details · 1
Lasted 18 months B4 Motor Failure – Ever since I purchased this product, it sometimes would not turn on requiring removal of battery and then reconnect battery to make it work. When it worked it was excellent at picking up dirt hair etc, but no good with solid objects. Recently just 18 months old and not used very much at all, it started to make a slightly high pitched noise. … Read more
Cleaning the filters did not fix the noise. Then it would would no longer turn on. Removal and disassembly of the motor showed a shattered magnet assembly. So far I have not been able to get the motor as a spare part.

Really really poor suction – Pre-charged as per instruction manual, it has been poor from day one. We have mostly hardwood flooring. It can vacuum up dog hair from this surface, but nothing else, not even strands of tinsel from the xmas tree. And when you've finished vaccing, any small bread-crumbs it has managed to collect, falls out as soon as you turn it off! Another… Read more
example is that it won't even hold on to your t-shirt (in turbo-mode) when pressed against it, with the stem removed! We purchased a spare (bigger) battery and it is just as useless. Very disappointing. I regret to say, it is nothing short of useless. I have had other Bosch products that were great, but this is not.

wouldnt buy it again – bought this two years ago have had nothing but trouble with the battery /recharge. I now find the battery is useless. ( other brand products that use a battery have lasted so much longer) used on carpet and Lino when it works it does a good job but isn't reliable power wise Will stick with my electric Vacc ( that isn't a bosch either ) Show details

Awesome vacuum – Loving this product, I’ve only recently purchased my Bosch vacuum. When I got it I was actually looking at a completely different brand but then I came across Bosch, I tried it out in the shop and absolutely loved it I’m not a fan of Dyson so I was open to try other brands. This one by far is amazing I’ve purchased quite a few cordless vacuums in… Read more · 1
the past but Bosch has been the best so far. It’s different to the other brands because you don’t have to hold the power button down to use it I love that and the suction is great I’ve used it on the normal setting on my carpets and thick mat and it did the job. The turbo mode is amazing so definitely can’t fault this brand and I’ll be recommending Bosch to everyone I know.
Great vacuum! Love it! – The vacuum is great, it sucks well on the normal setting but turbo mode is a whole other level! Cannot complain!! I use this vacuum on carpet and hard surfaces like tiles, it does very well. The filter is a little fiddly to empty, but it's not a big deal. The battery holds up quite well too, I haven't had it go out of charge on me whilst using it… Read more · 1
yet (although I haven't done huge jobs with it, 15-20 mins max). I also LOVE how you can click in the button to turn it on and it stays on so you don't have to hold it down like some other vacuums, your fingers don't get sore!!
