Very quiet – I am very impressed and happy with my Bosch dishwasher. It is very quiet and you can barely hear the noise. Dishes and glasses come out super clean. Gets things clean 99.9% of the time – Bought to replace an old LG unit that was falling to pieces. It is very much quieter that the LG and hardly makes any noise through most of the cycle. You do know it is working but it is hushed. Good variety of controls and the delay function is most useful to me. I very occasionally have a bit of food left on a plate, but that is mainly bad stacking on my part. Overall very pleased with this dishwasher.  Show details ·  1

when i got it working – The user manual should explain that there is a delay, after pressing the programme wash buttons, when i first used the dishwasher no, noise,, flashing lights ,etc the manual should state there is a delay as the machine programmes it self, depending on the load and how dirty the dishes are , the book was written by a technical witter who no doudt… Read more ·  1

was familar with the appliances. once i got it working the next day. all i can say what a great dishwasher. my dishwasher is spanish.

BOSCH-Crap – This Bosch dishwasher may be German made but is an absolute dud unfortunately. My experiences are much the range as that of [name removed]. I've tried all settings but the dishes and glasses in the bottom drawer still come dirty. Tried running cycle again on Intense or Pot and Pans, and still no good. since owning it, but it's intolerable now. I have had to wash items by hand after every wash. I've regularly cleaned the filters, blades and hoses for dirt and blockages.

Tried double tablet to help the situation but no success. Used Fairy and Finish.

I have persevered but cannot any further. Now looking for other recommendations other than Bosch.

On the plus side, the dishwasher looks beautiful in the kitchen, is well built and super quiet.

Every appliance in my house is a Bosch. The Bosch name is tainted to me now and doesn't carry the same premiumness as it used to after also having issues with their gas cooktop. The Bosch quality is hit and miss, and quality control is no longer consistent.

I've Tried every cleaning option... haven't had a clean wash yet! – We've had the dishwasher for nearly 1 year. I'm yet to have a completely clean wash!! Kids are constantly finding food grit on anything on top shelf or bottom shelf. Had the dishwasher going today for the second time ( first time dishes were all still unclean) tried with a different setting for the second run.. still same out come =dirty… Read more

To give you an idea of how poor it works, glasses that were are used for drinking milk, still come out of dishwasher with remnants of milk!

I've tried every wash setting possible.

If someone from Bosch could please suggest a wash setting that I can try?

Life saver! – This dishwasher cleans very well. It is so quiet. The dishes are always clean and dry at the end of the cycle and i never use a full cycle as i have found it is not needed. Plenty of programs to choose from. Simple to use. Clean sleek design. I find the inside has been designed well for maximum storage. Quiet and Effective – How nice to be able to sit and watch the TV whilst the dishes are being washer quietly in the background without an impact at all on the ambience of the room. Okay but not Okay – Hi There, Machine is very quite. i just bought Bosch Dishwasher SMS63M38AU two weeks ago and when it come on dry machine stops and showing error code E22. I have checked all filters and they are looking clean. I switch off machine and when i put machine on rinse only the water at bottom cleared. No Idea... What to do here.  Show details

Disappointing – Volume is great (very quiet). We've had a few failures to clean, and twice it stopped with a blocked outlet pipe (wasn't draining). The loads take a LONG time, unless we only want a 40 degree wash. We want hotter, so it goes for hours. The drying isn't brilliant either, quite a lot to towel off. April 16th 2017 Update: Failing

In a short few weeks, it's stopped somewhere in the cycle (can't tell where) several times, with no beep and an error message. Sick of emptying this machine to then wash manually.

People have told me that Bosch isn't maintaining their quality, but instead trading on history. I stayed loyal, but it's not looking good.

Not happy.
