Good on water. Hard hard on clothes – Expensive machine, so you would expect no problems with it within the warranty period. Unfortunately, we had a piece of its' rubber seal rip off which deemed the machine unusable until it was fixed. It took 10 days to get it fixed which was annoying, but Bosch were good to deal with. The machine is great on water, we are on tank water, so it works for our household. I have a friend with the same aged child as us and using the same reusable nappies, also on tank water. Her nappies look new still compared to ours which are almost ready to throw away.

A bit dissapointing – At first I was extremely happy with my purchase. The front loading washing machine in comparison was a quality product at an affordable price if comparing to it's main competitor (namely Miele). It is still in the warranty period of 2 years and have had to put in 2 service requests. The first was to fix the switch which was a relatively small fault but it now has become so noisy that it appears to be on the way out. This is not a good sign that I will get some 8+ years out of this product.

Be careful – Really happy with the machine . Many great cycles, can add clothes if it's started, and is very quiet. Washes really well. But beware withl the machines if the glass door concaves in to the machine as clothing, straps or zips May tear the seal. This is not covered. Otherwise very happy.

Very poor quality – We purchased what we thought was a very reliable washing machine. You pay for what you get right? So buy an expensive and apparently reliable and it breaks only 11 months after we got it. It's as good as dead and won't wash at all. It's in the process of getting fixed but the service repair provider can't even figure out what is wrong with it. We are a family of 5 including 3 young messy boys & husband is a tradesman. We go through a lot of washing! $108 and counting that I have had to pay to get my clothes washed at a laundry mat. This is an 11 month old washing machine, this should not happen! I regret ever buying it!!!

Excellent Washing Machine – The Bosch Washing Machine - WAS28464AU is an excellent washing machine. This unit replaces an Electrolux EWF1470 that we had for over 8 years. Clothes are washed well and operating noise is low thanks to the brushless motor. Machine vibration is also very low thanks to the anti-vibration construction. Manual needs improvement though as it was a bit confusing to follow the instructions. Could be made more easier to read.
