Great until something breaks – Purchased this machine to replace a Simpson. Happy with the different cycles and the wash. Only problem is that there are plastic rectangular parts in the drum. We had one break during a wash leaving a jagged edge so we can’t wash as the clothes would catch and get ruined. After much research and calls found out that this plastic part is actually part of the whole drum and cannot be replaced on its own.
It was a random thing that happened and we called Haier directly and it was confirmed that by the time we buy the replacement drum, have a call out fee and then labor charges on top it’s cheaper to buy a new machine.
Loved the machine but would not buy another with any plastic in the drum at all so unfortunately won’t be buying this brand again.

Excellent quality and results at a budget price – I bought this product after having previously owned a high end German brand washing machine . I have been a little surprised and very impressed with the quality of my Haier washing mahine. I have now owned and used it for around three years and it is still like new . It’s ease of use and high level of functionality make it perfect for me and my kids needs . I’ve also made a conscious effort to reduce my energy usage . The Haier is incredibly frugal with electricity and I also use the timer so that the machine operates at times when electricity tariffs are lower. I love this Haier washing machine. I’d buy another in a heartbeat

Extremely happy with this washing machine. Took a while to install as our laundry floor slopes but once done, it is the quietest washing machine I have ever had. Lots of cycles to choose from, very eco friendly and love that it estimates load weight and adjusts water usage to suit. And I can totally forget that one sock that escaped the load and add it to the cycle. Winner in my book. Show details
TERRIBLE! Do not buy!! Broke after 6 months and they sent a ‘technician’ who blatantly lied and said there were no issues. Said it was the floor and I wasn’t allowed to put more than one towel in at a time (even though there is a towel setting). Called after 4 months because the problem was getting worse and getting complaints from neighbours, but after many months of back and fourth they only sent out another technician right before my 1 year extended warranty expired and lo and behold it was broken. But then they didn’t have a replacement machine in stock and will not supply me with a replacement till they can located one (which is nonsense because they had them listed as available on their actual website). Called to complain and at first was told I would get a call back… never got one… so this time I asked to be directly connected with complaints, was put through to a personal who asked ‘how can I help you with your complaint’ to then be told ‘oh we only take complaints via email’. I said ‘why even have a complaints number then, if that is the case’ and through a stuttering response got told I would be put through to the manager of deliveries? Somehow the manager of deliveries was able to find a replacement washing machine for me in 1 minute, but now it will take up to 10 business days to be delivered because ‘when the trucks are full the trucks are full’ in a tone that can be best described as ‘shut up and be happy you are getting one at all’. It’s just so frustrating and disappointing how they have just skirted all responsibility and have made no effort to truly acknowledge or fix the issue with any type of urgency. At the end of the day I don’t even want the piece of trash washing machine at all. It has been such a mess around and nightmare for it to only have worked for 6 months over a year and half and I am just fully over companies constantly getting away with it! It’s ridiculous they can send out fake technicians who can just say your machine is fine so it will go out of warranty and then stick you with a new bill to buy another one or have it repaired. If I hadn’t of chased it up so much that is exactly what would have happened. DO NOT TRUST them. Nastiest product I have ever purchased and just another company who wants the dollars and no responsibility. Haier is Ensh*ttification to the max!

Never been able to work out how the PRE wash option works!
EXTRA: It's programmable! Yes, most modes can have their preferred extra options saved. A little 'Heart' shows on the front to show an option contains extra settings (picture).
The Drum-Clean option is excellent at keeping the washer clean and fresh. I only use OMO Sensitive Liquid and Canestan Rinse for odourless operation.
Great for starting out – This machine is great for those starting out on their first home journey. Reasonable price and does the job well. No crease setting but it has heaps of other features and whilst a bit noisy it's a great starting machine. Show details
Perfect Washing Machine – We have gone through a few machines but finally this one has stuck around. It has such good options for washing eg express 15 or daily wash 50 minutes where past machines would take hours. I usually wash kids clothes separately to mine and my husbands and clothes always come out clean. Show details
Great washing – I bought a cheaper machine as it was all I could afford. But it turned out to be fantastic, best choice ever. Quite, great choice of cycles each cycle can be adjusted to your needs. 7.5 kg it even washed a lightweight queen doona! I would have given it 6 stars. Show details
How posible Solid Plastic under the pump break – I am so happy with this product that we purchased in 2019 but last Sunday 31/7/2022 in the mindle of washing the machine sundenly stop and water leaking from under front of the washing machine. Then we found out that the solid plastic PVC pipe under the drum is crack and made a big hole. How posible that solid plastic PVC can crack and make a hole without being drill ? Gone downhill – Had the first model for 3 years. Worked that machine like an absolute dog. Seal got punctured through no fault of the machine, so I replaced the seal and sold it. times. The build quality and manufacturing has completely changed. I've taken the machines apart and compared them side by side, old and new. All of the parts have chamged manufacturer and some of the design is different, all changes looks to be inferior from the original. For one example, the new rubber seal is thinner and holds standing water, whereas the old did not. New machine is incredibly loud especially with a totally new banging sound that starts on high spin speed. At first I thought the sound was a manufacturing or installation fault, now on the 3rd new machine, I'm certain its the new crappy build quality. Machine is now too loud to keep in a small apartment. Forget about being in the same room as it on spin, it will deafen you. I've had to settle with this machine as I have to wash clothes at some point but I regret giving away my old one.

extra downloadable programs and seem way more complicated than they need to be, with a price tag to match. So, I bought this one. I used it for a small load first to see how it performs. I chose the Daily Wash, then my spin speed and water temp. Spin was amazing! 1200 really gets the water out, and quieter than my old top loader. (which had 850 speed). I have washed a few more loads and learnt a few things along the way. There was no sound to alert me that the cycle was finished. The manual comes with instructions (page 9 of my manual) to enable / disable audible alarm. It is quite easy to do and I like this idea because if I use the delay function to wash during the night to be ready when I wake and I do not want to be disturbed by “beeps”, I can turn it off. On the other hand, I like it enabled when washing during the day, love that I have the choice! It also remembers my last setting when I turn off the power. I did wash my towels on hot wash using the amount of detergent as advised on the product. However, I remembered too late that the hotter the water, the more suds and it did leak a little. The next hot water load I did I used less than the recommended amount and had no problems. I use liquid detergent as I have found powdered ones do not always dissolve. The manual says not to use liquid when using delay function, so I purchased some pods for these times. Overall, I am more than happy with this machine, affordable, ease of use and performs well. As an extra note: I ordered from Bing Lee online on Tuesday and they delivered Friday. They took my old one away, set this one up including connecting, levelling (adjusting the feet) then ran water to make sure the hose was connected correctly. All for $60! up we decided to try it. It seems to be quite solid, though not up to European quality it is not far behind. It is a pleasure and simple to use with a good range of functions. The Energy usage stated is also pretty good in comparison. Yes, it is a bit clunky but that doesn't seem to affect durability I think, it just has less dampening I think. Yes, the spin does have a bit of an intrusive loud frequency, but if you can put up with that like we can (even though in an old house which vibrates all over) then the rest is ok. I don't like to purchase throw away items, especially when they are big and heavy to move and not an easy project to replace, but I think this one will be good for 5 years and some $2000 machines don't last that long if you look at the reviews. I think it was so cheap as it was a runout model. It has only done about 10 washes so will review again after a year.

Stress free washing everytime – Love that this washer has eco wash setting . Large 7.5kg capacity so it is great to wash heavy linen , like blankets, quilts in it. We bought this machine after our 20 yr old Simpson 550 quit which was one of the first front loaders on the market back then. It doesnt wash as well as the Simpson did & takes twice as long but then the Simpson was top of the range but the Haier isnt & so we cant expect too much from a middle of the road machine. Does not wash clothes well , dirt and stains remain . Everything smells bad - Washed towels and they smelled worse than before wash . Had a Beko machine before and this haier is terrible in comparison . Very difficult to get an exchange for different brand with Harvey Norman Show details
I recently had a very frustrating experience with this company. The technician arrived to fix the issue is very rude and arrogant, he refused to honor the agreement i made with the customer team. repair it. If there is any further issue within warranty I will be seeking a refund. I have only ever had top loaders until this machine and I wish I had not strayed.
Only last for 4 year – It's okay for the first three years but a bit noisier than a higher-priced washing machine. But it stopped working in year 4, and we had to replace it. In general, I was pretty happy before it stopped working. But a washing machine that lasts only four years is a big No for me for the future. Show details

Broke down after 2.5 years – Worked for 2.5 years and then gave an FA error (Water level sensor circuit problem). I had a technician take a look at it who told me the whole motherboard was broken and to buy another brand as these don't last very long. Going a Bosh or Samsung for my next one The cheaper purchase price of the Haier is no reason to buy if you only get 2 years out of the product.
Poorly made & not designed to last – For your money you'll get lots of error messages - motor fault, have to drain, turn off pray it resets way too many times to count. Appears designed to last only the warranty period. Would never recommend this model or the brand Haier - save your money, time and energy (Lots of handwashing and annoyance on the lottery of will it work this time or not!!!!!) and invest in a different brand as I wish I had.
