This is on Bose Bass 300 – Exactly the same as CKoul review except Bose wanted $179 from me. My Bass worked intermittently. I stopped trying to reconnect it, but when I finally decided to give it one last shot - nothing. No light on the back. Bose have a serious issue with their products which many people are complaining about. Never again. Pathetic expensive paper weight.… Read more

If anyone else has the same problem it is a faulty Diode. The 300 requires the B2100A-13-F Diode. Easy to replace. Charging an exorbitant amount for repair is criminal.

This was great.... While it worked – We purchased this Bose module less than 3 years ago hoping it would last many years in our casual lounge area. We've had nothing but trouble with this unit. A few software upgrades made this work perfectly for about 6 months... Until it stopped working completely! The led light on the back does not go on anymore indicating no power which I… Read more

believe is a hardware issue. I called Bose Australia only to be told its out of warranty, and it would be $170 to send it back for repair (how do they know how much it will cost to repair if they have not even looked at it). Online you can see this has happened to 100's of people. Given the sound bar is $500 and the bass module is another $500, you'd think this would last more than 3 years!! Avoid Avoid Avoid Bose as much as you can. They are no longer good products, and their after sales service is the worst I've ever experienced. Get sonos, or even a cheaper Panasonic / Samsung version because atleast if it dies, you only paid half the price and you can just go buy a new one. Cheap garbage that does not do the job, nor last anywhere near as long as it should. We have a 15 year old lifestyle system in our lounge that is as good as the day we bought it. All these new products are cheap garbage at a high price.

AVOID!!!!

On an interesting turn of events, I called Bose and complained about this device. They quoted $170… Read more
