Bose Frames Alto

I purchased these frames for my partner as a gift only to find out not long after giving them to him that they wouldn't charge, seems it is a common problem with these. Also there is absolutely no customer services for this product, just a warning to future buyers, don't just don't, they are a complete waste of money. Show details
Made a big difference to my safe driving too! – These sunglasses have given me the best and safest hands-free audio while driving - ever. Easy to use, great quality audio and the polarised lenses make these the best sunnies I have owned, and I've had a few. Simple voice instructions to/from Siri are always accurate. Recharging is quick and I like that it announces how much of the battery is… Read more
left in charge when you turn them on. Listening to music and the sound quality isn't bad (I'm a sound nut). If I could make them just a little bit louder, I'd be chuffed.
Do not buy these! – I got 2 years limited use before they died, which seems to be twice as much as anyone else. Even of you can find them for sale DO NOT BUY THEM, or IMHO any other Bose product. A complete scam! Show details
Same issue as everyone else – I purchased these just over a year ago and today I've run into the issue that many other users seem to be reporting. My Frames no longer charge and are now just a chunky set of sunglasses. When they were working I quite enjoyed them, the sound quality was average but they let you hear your surroundings without the wind noise that earphones with… Read more
passthrough suffer from. I'm in the process of contacting Bose for customer support but they won't do it online, and being just out of warranty I'm not hopeful. Given that so many customers are having the same issue my opinion is that this product has a serious design issue that Bose needs to address, or they should stop selling this product.
Broken After A Few Uses Due To Design Flaw – Bought these and used them about ten to fifteen times, after which the frames no longer powered up. After looking around the internet, apparently this is a really common problem due to a design fault with the hinges. Folding the glasses normally causes a connection fault after a while, preventing the frames from turning on. The only solution is to… Read more
invoke the warranty and have them repaired/replaced. Given this is a known issue, I don't know why Bose continues to sell these as anyone purchasing these is likely to encounter the same issue. My advice: stay away from these. Apart from that, the fames are okay. The sound quality isn't great, more like a tinny radio than hi-fi audio, but they're nice if you're walking or riding about listening to a podcast or similar. Definitely wouldn't recommend them for music listening.
Landfill – Great sound and comfort but stopped working after a month of light use. Bose said they would replace but still have not months later. Luckily I used PayPal I guess Show details
Waste of money – I have had mine for just over a year and half and used them infrequently. They would have been charged less than 20 times over their life and now they no longer charge or turn on. Bose will not warrant them nor provide a repair. Don't waste your money. Show details
New Bose frames audio sunglasses – From the moment I tried them I knew I had to have them. They look ok and sound great But what wowed me was Bose AR audio augmented platform which allows you to here different areas of sound whilst turning your head #awesome. Now these frames / glasses don’t just protect your eyes they also make and take calls. They are Light and stylish. Definitely recommend especially the price $299
