Bose QuietComfort Headphones

I purchased these headphones to replace my old QuietComfort 45s, which I loved and used for years. As someone with auditory processing issues, I rely heavily on them for managing loud social environments. The new pair stopped working within weeks of… Read more
purchase! Only one side of the headphones connected to sound and activated noise-cancelling. For a premium product, this is so disappointing.
The customer service experience made things worse. Over two weeks, I spent hours on chat troubleshooting, even though I’m a long-time Bose customer familiar with their products. I didn’t receive the promised replacement postage label and had to chase it down after more wasted hours. Bose received my broken headphones four days ago, but still no sign of the replacement being sent. I contacted Bose again today to find out that the headphones may not be shipped for another two weeks!
This entire process has been frustrating and distressing. Bose used to be a brand I trusted, but after this experience, I no longer recommend them. I’m willing to pay for high-quality products and service, but sadly, Bose no longer delivers on either.
Follow-up · After a month of trying to get my faulty headphones replaced and then being promised a refund that never eventuated, even after multiple requests for updates, I gave up dealing with Bose. I contacted my bank, as advised by Victorian Consumer Affairs, and lodged a transaction dispute for being sent a faulty product and denied a refund, even after… Read more
I originally bought the SC, which is the same except for a soft case. They completely died in about 2 months. The hinges felt well worn, the adjusters moved freely almost without any force, and finally they refused to connect or even to be reset. My old cheap Soundcore headphones put up with worse treatment for 3 years before they gave up the… Read more
ghost.
I contacted Bose, which eventually led to me sending my SCs in and getting a hard case back. I have continued to encounter problems with the new pair, but none as severe.
The sound is good. I would consider them to be muddy, but that can be fixed with an EQ and the instrument separation is simply superb. ANC is very good, but has a tendency to overcompensate with sudden sharp noises. Comfort is great. I can wear them for about 5 hours before getting tired. Battery life is annoyingly short, but they're relatively quick to charge.
While they were amazing value for 188, they are pretty average for $300, and $550 is a complete scam.
Overpriced And overrated – I paid $600 for these headphones and I’m very disappointed with them, the sound quality and battery life are excellent, no issues there, but most of the features don’t work or work sometimes, you just don’t know when or if there going to work as there supposed to. There supposed to turn off when you take them off your head and turn on when you put… Read more
them back on, but they only do this sometimes, there supposed to to turn off after a time that you set and they don’t you’ve got to switch them off your self or they go flat, not worth $600 I’m seriously considering taking them back or selling them, be careful there overrated and overpriced
