Bose SoundLink Max Portable Speaker

Sound quality is okay, not many features - just a very basic equaliser, product smells like a chemical factory, date of manufacture nearly a year and a half old at time of purchase, battery totally discharged out of the box (NOT GOOD FOR LITHIUM). I am very, very unhappy about the date of manufacture and state of battery charge. I’d expect better for the money.
