Bose SoundLink Mini

Best small speaker – Best small portable speaker. Have had an original model for decades & has not missed a beat. Still better than the trendy lightweight speakers of today. Better than all my friend’s speakers - easy to use outdoors for social gatherings. Best sound when subs at rear face backwards & bounce off solid wall/glass to enhance front facing speakers. Sounds well above its size.

Love this – Sound is amazing. Connects easily to my devices. Charge lasts ages. My only issue was that the first one I purchased ended up having issues with Bluetooth connections but was still in warranty so they replaced it no worries. Show details

Excellent – Packs a punch and as good as surround sound in a small room. Great sound, but broke after 15 months – We loved using our Bose SoundLink Mini. Great sound and a must have when camping and for social get together. However after 15 months it stopped charging. we contacted Bose and were told it would be $120 to get fixed. We were pretty disappointed as it is an expensive speaker and you would expect greater longevity.  Show details

Amazing Sound - Worth the Money – Amazing sound for the size of it. Battery lasts well. My van doesn't have a stereo with an input so I use the Soundlink a lot for music & podcasts. It's also great for using at picnics or when I BBQ out on the deck. So much easier than having to get power & plug in a speaker. It's pricey for sure but well worth it for the great sound & compact size. BTW I'm a sound technician so I know good sound when I hear it.  Show details

Perfect. But expensive – Like other friends i am also totally happy with the device. But my son has another one -- nude move.. I compared both of them under different conditions. Bose is 2 notch better. But is right ,for just little better sound quality to pay so much more ?? The design is very nice. But the other one is easier too carry.

and quality of sound for its size. Its robust, timeless design means it will last for a long time. Battery life is great and I have been sure to only charge it when required so as to keep the battery healthy. I recommend you do the same wherever possible.

No issues with pairing, it just works. I have paired to my iPhone, iPad and Surface Pro 3 without any issues.

We use this in the entertaining area, out gardening and whenever we want some ambient music playing in the house.

This is my first Bose product and thanks to the calibre of this item, it wont be my last.

I was considering building a smart Wi-Fi audio system made by another big brand, but I will now use Bose.

High quality bluetooth speaker – Got this product as a gift about 6 months ago. This is has excellent sound quality and is a solid speaker. I haven't had any issues pairing the speaker with my iPhone 6 or a friend's HTC.

Terrific sound – Excellent sound from this solid speaker. Pairing was very easy. Only strange thing is the mini usb on the bottom of speaker. Aux input is on the side. Charging cradle is very neat. Its quite heavy for its size, indicating its build quality. I'm very impressed with this speaker.

Mighty Mouse ! – The other reviews have said it all about this excellent quality portable bluetooth speaker. I love everything about it. decent size, accommodating those of us with larger finger tips. A little click lets you know that you have pressed a button - nice!

The unit fits nicely onto a flat plastic charging cradle - ours lives in a corner of the kitchen, alongside our Cord Ezi-DAB+ digital radio (the two make a really good sonic combination).

Bluetooth pairing with our mobile phones was pretty easy. Over time, it does seem to "forget" a paired device if it has not connected for a while. Not sure if this is a known issue, or if there is a firmware upgrade available - the Bose web site is not too helpful in this regard.

On to the sound - man, it is good. It easily fills our open-plan kitchen and dining area with music. The bass can be a little too powerful if the unit is positioned too close to a wall, but once properly positioned, it delivers the goods in spades, belying it's size. Overall very happy with this product.

High quality portable speaker – This has great sound and a very solid construction for a portable speaker. Some days I have trouble pairing it with my android phone, but mostly it works flawlessly.

I love it so much, i've given my Bose a name! – The Bass on this little bad boy is simply phenomenal, mid range and tweeter very good. Quite heavy for such a small speaker. Battery lasts around 6 hours. Bluetooth option works well up to 8-10m metres. I use mine with an iPod Classic connected with a longer cable. Comes everywhere with me, even my wife has borrowed it to use it at a work presentation.

Perfect sound arifact – I was really hesitant about buying this product as it was a bit pricey for my budget. Then decided to give it a go. What an excellent product. I was amazed by the sound quality and deep bases this tiny shiny box bursts out. Now feeling like I got much more than what I paid for. It's really hard to find this quality in any product nowadays. and the speaker grill is slightly dented (it is a very small dent and I would not return it based on that - nevertheless, it shows the quality of manufacturing). After owning the Go v2 for 2 weeks, I knew I would not reorder the same unit and wanted to try something different as the sound from the Go V2 is a bit muffled and not clear - I was not impressed. Maybe I am a little naive, I would expect something sound a lot better when considering the much larger size of the Go v2.

On the other hand, the build quality of the Bose is top notch. It is very portable as it is physically quite small. What surprised me is how good the sound is - crystal clear and based on my ears, it beats the Go hands down in all the ranges. I have no ideas why What hifi would rank the Go higher than the Bose.

I bought both the Go and Bose through Myer online and I cannot fault their service. Returning the faulty Go was easy as they accept online purchase return in any of their stores. Top marks!

PERFECT!!! – I have the sound link mini and it is worth every dollar. Produces fantastic music that is very loud considering its size. The charge lasts awhile and it is so easy to use. I will definatley recommend purchasing this along with its case:)

Holy cow this thing sounds amazing for its size – Fits in your hand but delivers crystal clear sound across the whole range. aluminium looks great and the build feels very solid. Basically if you are looking for a fantastic sounding but still portable bluetooth dock, stop looking and buy this.. You won't regret it.

Tip: Make sure to place the back of the unit about 1-2 inches from a wall to get the best bass. Crystal clear sound with amazing bass for its size, solid and great looking, long battery life, portable.

Value for money, sound for size exceptional – What a great product. Bluetooth easy to pair, range is more than adequate ie about three large rooms away it will still operate. Size is small enough to easily fit a bag or backpack to take on a picnic etc.

One problem I did have initially was ensuring the unit sat on the charging base correctly, but plugging the power directly into the system overcame this minor issue.

Amazing sound and blue tooth works far away – Fast delivery on product and was in perfect new condition . Bosse speakers are amazing. A few friends I know also have them . soaking up some sun. I love it, and have done since day one. I just love watching peoples faces when i play it loud and they ask if the sound is really coming from that little speaker. The only criticism is that, just as with any speaker this size i suppose, it can sound a little bit 'woody'. Its tiny, and its $250. Its fantastic! Sound quality, portability, style, price Just a little 'woody' sounding but hey its a tiny speaker!

Very impressive – After doing quite a bit of research on Bluetooth music players, I settled on the Bose mini based on its excellent reviews. I have not been disappointed. I have it set up in my bedroom and it sounds amazing. Hard to believe music that sounds that good comes out of a unit so small. Easy to set up and my cat had a blast playing with the empty box.
