Very good for money – I purchased these a little while back and they are very comfortable. The sound is not amazing but very good for the use I give them The only downside is they do get a bit hot on the ears on hotter days. Show details

Not Happy – I bought my headphones about four years ago and have only used them a handful of times (only on long haul flights). I am happy with the sound, however, the sponge ear cushions are substandard! The cushions themselves are still like new however, the rim that holds it in place to the headphone has literally perished. Not good enough when only used maybe ten times. Show details

Comfy for smaller heads, great for phone calls, durability not so great – I've had my pair for 18 months and used them daily at work for pairing with my pc and mobile phone. The only issue with having two devices paired at the same time is the audio will cut out from the device you're using to alert you to an incoming call. They've been ideal as a great quality phone headset and have great sound for music. I had to… Read more

replace the earpads after 12 months and have had to replace the whole headset today after the wiring broke on one side (see picture). For the price, I would expect them to be more durable but at least Bose offered me a low cost replacement pair.

Awesome headphones with fantastic sound but don't wear them on the beach ! – Would be 5 stars if the ear cushoins didn't peel off as I was wearing them by the ocean under an umbrella on a sunny day. Perspiration and these ear muffs don't get along. Replacement cost for the cushions is about $30 but try to put them back on was a nightmare. The youtube installation made it look a lot simpler than it is.  Show details

Awesome set of cans – Had these headphones for months now and I love them. Without a doubt the most comfortable pair of headphones I have ever worn. I mostly buy Sennheiser but these are comfier and sound better. Have used for both iPhone and ipod, but works fine in android devices too. No issues so far, still loving them everyday and enjoying the tunes.  Show details

Nice sound. Poor material – Love Bose and the sound it produces but the foam material in the ear muffs slowly deteriated. Had to stick it down with black tape. Otherwise all good for its purpose. Tried to get a replacement but its not covered under warranty, apparently. Probably will choose a different brand next time or maybe another newer model of Bose.  Show details

Quality sound, superior bluetooth, but poor muffs – Bought these headphones at release date in 2015. PROs Easy to pair with phone, laptop or ipad. The sound is amazing for an on-ear headphone but it does lack bass. Siri function with iphone works fine, and calling/receiving voice calls/Skype is a useful feature that works well. One of the best things about this headphone is that it folds… Read more

neatly to something the size of your hand. Battery life is exceptional and after a few years, it still keeps full charge.

CONs

If your laptop (Macbook Pro 2014) or goes to sleep, the bluetooth has trouble linking even though it claims it is paired. The solution is to disconnect and reconnect. A little annoying. Another cons is that the ear muff is made with rather simple materials (foam/pleather), that easily comes off. Can buy replacement muffs from eBay though.

Great sound – These earphones are a great purchase. Got on sale at JB-HI to replace previous Dr Dre earphones. The padding is much softer and comfortable than old pair. Sound has great all round . Base not as strong however is very clear. Does not distort at high sound. Pretty happy with purchase.  Show details

Average Headphones – Purchase on an very good deal from myer (~$90). Not worth it if you Though they look good and generally produce good sound. The sound stage is OK but not deep. And the quality of the ear muff is poor. They started to come off only after a year or so of use.  Show details

Great sound – I purchased these whilst visiting family overseas, specifically in Berlin, and found them to be slightly cheaper than purchasing here at home. They served me really well for the rest if my trip throughout Europe, including blocking out a lot of external noise on buses and planes etc. Great product:)  Show details

Can't do without my Bose – If anyone tries to tell you Bose hasn't got the best sound on the market thry are seriously misguided. I've stick to Bose for all my speakers and headphones and every time i listen i am constantly amazed at the superb quality. I've listened to the best speakers on the market but Bose are the hands down winners foe quality of sound  Show details

Wonderful – I love the convenience of the bluetooth connectivity. No annoying cords! The sound is amazing and I feel like I'm in my own musical world when I have them on. They are very comfortable on the ears and not too heavy. I have yet to wear them on a plane so I don't know if they block much noise. I didn't buy them for that. Recommended. The white and turquiose ones are very nice.  Show details

gym, on the plane, walking.

The headphones have great comfort and feel. It has a soft cushion on the top band and ears which makes listening to music so much better.

Any questions let me know I am a big advocate for Bose products.

Ideal for travelling – I was looking for some small headphones for travelling and this is the one. Comfortable, small, foldable and nice sounds too. My only disappointment, you can't use it while charging. This is a bit annoying considering this has never been an issue with all other headphones I have ever used. The small case seems a bit tight as you need to force it to fit it in.  Show details

Brings the bass out of anything you play it on – I've owned Bose headphones for 10 years. I love the sound they reproduce. The audio is absolutely clean, with tight bass. Anything device I've hooked the Bose headphones to have made it sound 10 times better. They are very comfortable, I could wear them for hours. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone.  Show details

Bose = Quality – The best bluetooth on ear headphones i've ever used. The volume controls and bluetooth flick switch are correctly positioned to change tracks and adjust volume. The drawback of this headphone is the Bass. It is missing the punch. The cable which comes with it, when connected doesn't produce the same quality of sound as the bluetooth. That's disappointing.  Show details

Good Product but – You get very sore ears if you're using it on a long haul flight e.g. SYD to LAX. Only complaint I have about these solutions from Bose is that you pay a premium for a big, well known brand but there is no after sales support after the warranty period. So again you pay big dollars but if something goes wrong after the warranty period you pretty much have to replace it with a new solution.  Show details

Delivers high dynamic range, amazing quality! – Absolutely can not go wrong with Bose. You really notice the difference between regular iPhone headphones and these! Produces clear and true low frequencies, which is primarily as important as the mids and high frequencies. I produce music with various Bose headphones, as they have a rich, powerful and high dynamic sound (without need to have the volume up too loud). I always highly recommend Bose.  Show details

Brilliant – For on ear headphones these are great, excellent sound quality, easy to use, great connect ability and nice and compact. I use these mainly for calls on long drives as I find that these are far better than any incar hands free. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a good all round headphone  Show details

The sound may be good, but they fall off my head – These headphones are built for men with big heads, who like to sit still. I'm quite disappointed with them, I wanted bluetooth because I wanted to be able to clean the house and listen to music or videos while the kids could watch their own stuff on TV. But I can't bend forward to pick anything up or put anything away, they fall right off. I have… Read more

them on the tightest setting possible. I tested them on my husband and despite his bigger head if he leans forward the same thing happens. I feel a bit cheated, if you buy something with bluetooth, you generally expect to be able to move around in them without feeling like you're trying to balance a stack of books on your head. On their website they have models leaning forward doing work, which just wouldn't be possible. They really should be marketed differently. I don't see the point of Bluetooth with these at all, this is $340 wasted for me as I will have to buy another pair of headphones to do the housework in. When I can save up enough money again of course, because I'm all tapped out now. These ones I will have to keep for... playing video games?! Watching movies on the couch through Apple TV?

Functionally, they work, they connect to devices ok. Pairing to 2 devices at once is actually pretty handy, and 15 hours of battery per full charge is very good. In wired mode I have to use my phone to turn the sound up and down etc, because I have an Android phone, but I can live with that. I can't really comment on sound. I have no problems with it. If it can play music, and I can hear it, and it's not distorted, I'm happy and it does those things. It's important for me to still be able to hear background noise so I can keep an ear out for what my kids are doing, and I can do it, but only just. They block out a lot more sound than I was expecting.
