The only brand of blender to guarantee they are free from emitting chlorinated paraffin in to food
Pros:
1.It is pretty much the only blender that can guarantees being free from chlorinated paraffin. I specifically enquired about this to all the blender brands I could think of and Braun is the only one who could definitively assure me they were free of it:
"For all Braun hand blender we can guarantee that are free from chlorinated paraffin since 2017. (We have the test report and are certified)
However, regards to the product before 2017, although the material has not been changed, we do not have the certification so we cannot officially gua...

Purchased this at good guys and worked great at first. Didn’t really used it that much. Before it was a year old mid use it just stop working after hearing a click inside the machine. We were busy with Xmas and family stuff to didn’t take it back straight away. We went to the good guys 6 days after the year mark and they would not do anything, fix it or anything.
Very disappointed

Purchased on 26th Dec 2021, so only a couple of months old. I've used it almost daily in this time. Mixed smoothies, chopped onions, and mixed vegetables. I love it. Mainly because it's so easy to clean. A lot of kitchen appliances say that, but this one really is. It's a quick rinse under the tap. I am only using the small chopper as there is only me to worry about, and I've used it for all the things stated above. I've used the whisk for egg whites, and it certainly whisks them, but not as fast as my hand mixer to be honest. I've made ...
Read morethick shakes for the kids and they come out awesome. Again, cleaning the one attachment under the tap makes it a breeze to use. I love the way the motor disconnects from the attachments so there is no worries about getting water in the motor. I also find it easy to press the on button as I have arthritis I was a bit worried that having to hold it constantly as you were whisking etc., that I mightn't be able to manage it, but it's fine. The one thing I don't love is the lock. Every time you stop using it, it automatically locks, a feature I could do without. However, if you had kids in the house, this would be perfect. My Bamix didn't have a lock and the way these blades move on these hand blenders, a child could easily loose a finger, so it is a really good idea. Hopefully, it lasts the distance. As it's only a couple of months old, obviously I can't comment on longevitiy.Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $283.

The first time I tried it, the blade was flimsy to fit into the (smaller) bowl. Whilst the blender is quite good, finishing in about 5 seconds, the components parts do not fit easily and its hit and miss on whether the 'lock' light actually turns off. I am trying to get a refund as it was so poor.

Yeah, that is so sad, the German quality is no longer quality.
I bought a MultiQuick 9 Hand blender MQ 9087X about 4 years ago (see photo and decide for yourself).

I brought this when looking for a food processor as I thought I’d get the advantage of the other attachments. The small chopper is great however the larger one takes a bit and doesn’t process the best. The vegetable slicer attachment is ok. It does the job but could be better.

This blender is very good, most blending finishes within 3-5 seconds. We mainly use it to make baby puree for our little one. The device is light compared to other blenders I have used. There are a full range of adapters for every situation. The noise level when on is also quite minimal. To turn it on, the motion is to press down after deactivating the safety switch. Easy to wash as the head and blade is something that can be placed directly into the dishwasher.

I use the Braun MultiQuick 9 every day and love what it can do. I like the variety of chopping and mixing accessories included.
It’s important to read the manual. Find out how big the food pieces can be for the blades and motor to work. And beware ... some of those blades are incredibly sharp (cut myself a few times cleaning it). I hand wash all parts straight away, as I don’t trust the dishwasher with it (not all parts are dishwasher safe).

Worked fine for slightly over a year and then broke... useless customer support and massive backlog of devices under repair. It is certainly not made in Germany (manufactured in Romania).

Great product until it broke. Braun have decided the best option is to send it for review/ repair with a 7 week backlog - this is still within the initial 12 month warranty - very disappointing customer service

All in one is great but plastic parts are cheap and it definitely is not the best blender for the hardest jobs.
Braun MultiQuick 9 is a great must have in the kitchen but parts get broken if you use it every day. I love the size and all the blades you can prepare salad quickly.cleaning is fast and easy. The price tag is high comparing to the cheap parts. I will buy it again if they improve the quality of the parts especially grating, shredding, slicing, chopping. It is not strong enough for kneading the dough.coffee grinder is doing ok. But for a family of 3 with guests over it gets over heated so basically if you have a big family and cooking everything day forget about it.

The engine is so powerful and this one appliance has replaced three others: my old stick processor, food processor and blender. Literally the best appliance I've ever owned. We're using it for smoothie bowls, salsa verde, mashed potatoes and so much more.

Have had this for two years and it's had a really easy life. Great for chopping nuts or other lightweight tasks. Yesterday my wife tried to use it for dates. It fried the motor. Would have been happy it it had a thermal cutout, but no, the motors gone. If you only want to use it for lightweight tasks go for it. If you want it for anything else, good luck!

The incredibly powerful motor is the real drawcard for this appliance and we were always happy with it’s performance. However, one day the motor just stopped working without notice, no warning signs, no funny noises, just stopped working at all. It is also worth noting that the lid accessories cannot be washed in the dishwasher without being damaged. I would not buy this again.
