I filled the required amount of water, plugged it in, and pressed the start button. However, the control panel lit up all the lights and made a beep sound. Then, it turned off by itself as if I hadn’t pressed the start button.

Does anyone know the reason and how to fix this?

Hello there

I found that the unit is having staining where the power is connected so I gave it a nice clean and rinse. Made sure where the wire is didn’t get wet. However, when I plugged it in, its not turning on anymore. Can someone help please?

My panel is indicating there’s no water but the tank is full. Can’t get it to turn on

I bought this product a week ago. My first use, it leaked out a lot of water between the base and the water unit. I thought maybe I did something wrong, so I've reread the instructions and checked nothing is missing but it still leaks really badly, to the point that my carpet is soaked. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I love it besides the leak!

Does any one else’s leak from the bottom ? It’s done it since the day we got it including after first use. It’s ruined so many things because it’s leaked during every use. I can’t seem to find the cause of the problem.

Agree. I have had the same problem. I have double checked I have assembled correctly and still is occurring.

Make sure you tighten the filter to the cap and the cap to the bottom of the tank properly and test that the spring in the middle of the cap is not faulty. Then put it on the machine base with proper alignment. If it still leaks then try to exchange the machine?

My humidifier is saying 77% in baby mode. I thought it automatically adjusted to make it 55%. Am I using this wrong?

We’ve had this for a couple of months now with no complaints. Filled it up last night, turned it on, and went to sleep. Woke up at 3am to it beeping madly like a smoke alarm. Unplugged it. Plugged it back in tonight to use it, and it’s still beeping madly, all the front panel lights are flashing simultaneously with the beeping and it doesn’t work at all. Is it borked, or is there a reset process I can carry out? Please assist.

Hello, I purchased my machine 5 days ago and used it everyday since. Today the mist is leaking out of the aroma tray and it is not coming out of the usual misting hole, the water tub is in the correct position and the inner components are cleaned as per the cleaning instructions. How can I fix this? Thank you.

Try it on manual mist and make sure the mist intensity is set to high by swiping the dotted lines to the right. If the mist is not coming out of the top then there is a blockage or fault? I would contact Breville this does not work.

I just bought this machine yesterday and used it through the night (switched it off when I woke up this am) have tried to turn it on again tonight but no mist to be seen, (panel still working and beeping as it should) can anyone give me some pointers on what I might me doing wrong?

No mist?? Sure you have filled water? If you have set to manual mode of humidity, and if it's lower than room's humidity, it would not turn the mist on.

Hi I have one of these machines mine is also saying that the humidity is 95% I am using it in baby mode, my son suffers from nasal congestion at night and I have found that this machine has helped I just want to make sure I am using it correctly as I thought the humidity level should be around 75%? Your assistance is much appreciated

Hi Diane, I am not a pro at this, but based on my usage and recommendation of breville, using any auto mode(baby, night, etc) when the humidity is already above normal (50-60%) is not recommended. There is a manual way of setting required humidity, which should be the way to go in such case. Also the humidity is relative to temperature, as the temperature increases, humidity decreases as it's relative humidity. Please read up about the best relative humidity for your kid. I generally make sure my room humidity is in between 50 and 60, my little one seems to be sleeping alright.

Hi I have thoroughly cleaned the humidifier as per the instructions, but I have a musty smell coming from the mist. Any advice.

You have to flush it out with fresh water obviously and also make sure the little tray where the oils go isn't the reason it smells

Purchased this product 2/4/2020. It leaves my carpet damp and too much condensation on windows. I suffer hayfever and having so much water in my bedroom will create mould. Very unhappy with product . A total waste of money.
