Broken blender seeking repair spare parts – The problem with my blender is that when I turn it on, the lower black turning mechanism seems to turn and there's still the usual loud noises, but the upper blades don't turn at all. I thought the problem was with the turning connecting point, so I tried all sorts of different angles at connecting the upper and lower part, but no matter what I try the blades still don't turn.

You will fall in love with it.. but eventuly a simple leaking O ring seal in the jug can bring you to tears! – I so love my vintage look chrome blender.. like others here, I also experienced the jug leaking, resulting in corrosion all over the base. Recently there started to be smoke coming out of the machine while in use. I thought it was the blender motor wearing out. But I later discovered it was the black rubber seal that had worn out.. creating… Read more

friction. I'd very much Iike to ask Brevile if you still supply these seals. I'm thinking it might Be a good idea to apply petroleum Jelly or some kind goo topreserve the seal and are it hold better. What do you think Mr Breville..as it's a lovely machine to be spoiled, even astheticly (due to corrosion and pittying) simply because of a very drying out seal, that is so easily accessible for replacement. Please Mr Breville... bring back this all time classic blender. Or at least make replacement parts available..

Excellent blender! – Robust, silent, extremely effective, I love it! I use it most to make my nut milks, they come out smooth and silky. I love the little cut in the pouring top so the steam comes out when necessary. Just perfect. Such a pity it is discontinued, please at least provide the parts! Show details

Good – It is a good blender that is attractively designed to suit any kitchen. It works well with 3 speeds. It is simple to operate and has a non slip base. and it suitable for any large family. Good quality, good brand, sharp blades, easy to use, very stylish design. The lid is poorly designed and makes it hard to fit properly.
