Kitchen life just got better
I previously owned a Vitamix, and wasn't even aware that there was an Australian equivalent until last year. So I've had my Optimum now for about 3 months and these are my thoughts. The Optimum outperforms the Vitamix, it's considerably cheaper than the Vitamix, it's quieter, and the jug doesn't move around on the base the way the Vitamix did. It's hands down the best blender I have owned, and I continue to try new recipes and experiment with ingredients. I regularly make nut butters, nut and oat milks, hummus, soup, frappes and grind nuts and seeds. When I'm finished making the creamiest peanut butter of all time, I add milk, coffee, yoghurt, ice and cocoa powder to the jug, to make the yummiest frappe of all time. This is the best way of getting all of that peanut butter out of the jug! It blends both liquids and solids really well, and I've found that keeping the solids, e.g. nuts, to around 400gms, is the most efficient way to blend. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and I consider this a great investment, saving me time and allowing me to make my own products instead of buying things with added stabilisers and other ingredients.

Great blender, great value!
This blender is amazing. I use it every day to make breakfast smoothies, and using and cleaning it is a breeze. The smoothies are properly smooth, no little chunks of date or anything left.
When making ice cream or other more solid things, it might be necessary to add a little bit of liquid to help everything mix together.
Cleaning the blender is a breeze, just put warm water and a drop of dish washing liquid in and run it. So easy.
I would totally buy this again.

Indispensable + Excellent customer service from Froothie
I'm a long time Optimum blender user and absolutely love my 9200A. Mostly I make smoothies and various versions of fruit "nice cream" gelato, but I also use it for cashew-based cheese sauces, hommous and the final stage of pureed soup. Yes, it is a bit loud but it is SO VERY worth it. Everything comes out silky smooth. There is nary a berry seed in any of my smoothies, unless I want it that way!
Though I've had this blender for nearly 4 years I'm writing the review now because I had an excellent experience with customer service recently. My bl

I contacted the Froothie people to get a diagnosis of the issue, and they helped me figure out what was going on, then arranged getting a free replacement blade assembly to me, in addition to offering a great deal on a replacement jug if I wanted it (I did). This is great brand for raw vegans, smoothie fanatics, or anyone serious about their blending needs. And you can rest assured that the company will take care of you if anything goes wrong. Note that if you have hard water at home, I reckon you need to be extra careful in avoiding getting the bottom of the blender wet (which Froothie advises everyone do, anyway), as I believe that this is what went wrong in my case.Collected in partnership with Optimum Appliances

Bloody great blender. Great after sales service and support.
Fantastic blender, munches anything, super powerful. Great support and spare parts if you need it. Slow ramp up eliminates jolting and pre-set speeds and run times are awesome for smoothies or nut butter. Blends fast enough that is can heat things which is nuts (pun intended!). Note: 5 year warranty is real and honoured.

great customer support
I have used my blender for several years almost every day and am very happy with it. I use it for smoothies, nut butters, frostings and much more. I especially like that it is strong enough to grind dried chick peas into flour and flax seeds which I use extensively. I recently needed a knife replacement, and the customer service was very helpful. providing me with a repair service in my country and also send me a comprehensive list of how to best take care of my blender jug.
All in all a very good investment!

Who doesn't need a second jug?
This jug is fantastic! The perfect size and makes the smoothest smoothies ever! I replaced the blade of my older jug so now have 2 complete jugs which will come in very handy when I'm cooking and using my blender for multiple mixes. Very happy!

Far better product than those of equivalent price, as good as my last Vitamix.
We have tried many of the recipes from the accompanying magazine, and each has turned out as described and is delicious.

Great product!
I have been using my Optimum blender for many years and only needed a replacement jug as the motor is still working excellently. Great service and quick delivery.

Makes great smoothies, not too loud but bulkier than I expected
I was looking for a quieter blender (after having the NutriBullet) and this blender definitely was great from sound level perspective. Fantastic job blending. Would have preferred a more slick design as bulkier than expected

Great Device
I have had the 9200A for two years now. Device does everything that is stated and Froothie has been great with warranty. Repaired motor after an issue, no problem at all and repairs carried out quickly and efficiently. Had ordered an 8200 but Froothie offered a free upgrade to the 9200A on initial purchase. Blends far better than our previous Ninja blender, motor is so powerful. It handles all food types including ice so well. Had to recently buy a replacement jug as we somehow left a spoon in the jug and then turned the blender on. Jug broke, not in a dangerous manner, but everything else is in good order. Replacement jug is same great quality as blender. Very happy with our purchase.

Questions & Answers
1. Is there any leakage that happens from under the blade to the bottom outer part of the jug? I’ve gone through 2 jugs of KitchenAid blender and the same thing keeps happening. After 6 months, it starts leaking through and resulting in the screw rusting and the rust juice leaking into the smoothie. Absolutely gross.
2. Is the entire parts of the blade made of stainless steel? Is there Any metal that can rust used to hold the blade in place in the jug?
Hi YH,
Those are great questions and to prevent this from happening with the Optimum blenders, we recommend keeping the underside of the jug dry, away from any hot surface, stove, etc.
We offer fully stainless steel blades that are not dishwasher safe, and therefore we recommend cleaning the jug while blending water, with soap, depending on the content you have blended.
More information about cleaning can be found on page 16 and 17 of the manual: https://optimumappliances.com/assets/manual_pdf/EU/OPT-9200A-Blender-Manual-v15%20(09-11-2022)%20online.pdf
Over time and if not maintained correctly, rust can develop on stainless steel. Stainless steel will generally not rust under normal atmospheric conditions. A couple of factors lead to the corrosion of stainless.
If the cleaning and maintenance instructions are followed it will last years and years:

Functions of the Optimum 9200A:
- Crushes ice
- Blends whole fruits and vegetables
- Makes green smoothies
- Automatic blending options for 20, 30 or 45 seconds
- Grinds nuts and grains
- Makes nut butters and nut milks
- Built-in overload sensor

Happy reviewers really liked that their Optimum 9200A blended smoothly with ‘nil chunky bits.’ This often involved blending smoothies, but also included smooth nut butters and flours.

Hey Anjev !
We are overjoyed to read your 5-star review :)
Mentioning that when you finish making the creamiest peanut butter of all time, you add milk, coffee, yoghurt, ice and cocoa powder to the jug, to make the yummiest frappe of all time is indeed one of the best ideas, really inspiring and you are absolutely correct, this is the best way of getting all of that peanut butter out of the jug!
We will be advising our customers who do nut butters to try your frappe recipe !
