Kitchen life just got better – I previously owned a Vitamix, and wasn't even aware that there was an Australian equivalent until last year. So I've had my Optimum now for about 3 months and these are my thoughts. The Optimum outperforms the Vitamix, it's considerably cheaper than the Vitamix, it's quieter, and the jug doesn't move around on the base the way the Vitamix did.… Read more · 1
It's hands down the best blender I have owned, and I continue to try new recipes and experiment with ingredients. I regularly make nut butters, nut and oat milks, hummus, soup, frappes and grind nuts and seeds. When I'm finished making the creamiest peanut butter of all time, I add milk, coffee, yoghurt, ice and cocoa powder to the jug, to make the yummiest frappe of all time. This is the best way of getting all of that peanut butter out of the jug! It blends both liquids and solids really well, and I've found that keeping the solids, e.g. nuts, to around 400gms, is the most efficient way to blend. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and I consider this a great investment, saving me time and allowing me to make my own products instead of buying things with added stabilisers and other ingredients.

This blender is amazing, powerful, easy to use and easy to clean. It also feels solid and should last a lifetime. We have now been using our 9200A for over two months and its essential to our cooking regime, there's not a day goes by that the 9200A isn't used. Show details · 1
Excellent product. Hesitant so I did quite a bit of research. Very happy with my choice. Had it now for 7 months and use around 6 times per week. Soups, smoothies, Flaxseeds, nuts with ease. Show details · 3
7 months in and it is a great blender. I use it for smoothies, soups, sauces, oats, nuts, frappes, ect. Handles ice well, but sometimes can struggle with very thick consistencies with things like frozen banana or mango ice cream. Show details · 1
The new and improved jug is great.Steel bottom instead of rubber makes it easily to clean. Show details · 1
Powerful Blender – Excellent blender nice and powerful, still going strong after 9 years, Did replace the blade assemble earlier this year due to a leak but pretty good after 9 years, Great that you can buy spare parts, Blends all my fruit & veggies nice and creamy, even frozen fruits, only thing i dont like is at the base of the jug being square makes it harder to… Read more · 1

the toughest ingredients to perfection. Whether I'm preparing smoothies, soups, or nut butter, this blender handles it all with ease, leaving me with consistently smooth and velvety results.
The robust construction and high-quality materials used in the Optimum 9200A inspire confidence in its durability. It feels like a well-engineered and sturdy appliance that can withstand regular use over the long term.
What sets the Optimum 9200A apart is its versatility. The variable speed settings and preset functions make it incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to achieve precise textures for various recipes. The large capacity is another plus, making it suitable for both small and large batches.
Cleaning is a breeze with the self-cleaning function, saving me valuable time in the kitchen. The tamper tool also comes in handy when working with thicker blends, ensuring everything is thoroughly mixed.
Overall, the Optimum 9200A 2nd Generation has become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. Its combination of power, durability, and versatility makes it a standout blender in the market. If you're in the market for a high-performance blender that delivers consistent results, I wholeheartedly recommend the Optimum 9200A 2nd Generation.
Happy blending!
Indispensable + Excellent customer service from Froothie – I'm a long time Optimum blender user and absolutely love my 9200A. Mostly I make smoothies and various versions of fruit "nice cream" gelato, but I also use it for cashew-based cheese sauces, hommous and the final stage of pureed soup. Yes, it is a bit loud but it is SO VERY worth it. Everything comes out silky smooth. There is nary a berry seed… Read more · 1
in any of my smoothies, unless I want it that way!
Though I've had this blender for nearly 4 years I'm writing the review now because I had an excellent experience with customer service recently. My blender stopped working, was making a weird noise and omitting rust from the bottom, so I thought it was all over -- I do use twice a day almost every day, after all. I contacted the Froothie people to get a diagnosis of the issue, and they helped me figure out what was going on, then arranged getting a free replacement blade assembly to me, in addition to offering a great deal on a replacement jug if I wanted it (I did).
This is great brand for raw vegans, smoothie fanatics, or anyone serious about their blending needs. And you can rest assured that the company will take care of you if anything goes wrong.
Note that if you have hard water at home, I reckon you need to be extra careful in avoiding getting the bottom of the blender wet (which Froothie advises everyone do, anyway), as I believe that this is what went wrong in my case.
What a Customer service !!! – We bought 9200A few years ago and just few weeks ago the circuit breaker underneath the blender started tripping. Then my wife rang froothie customer service. And I must say the events that followed were just mind boggling. The gentleman who took my wife’s call was very polite and went through the records and told us that the warranty expired in… Read more · 1
2019 but he raised a ticket so the support team can diagnose the problem and give us the solution. From the time the support team got involved it was such a beautiful experience. As soon as I send the diagnostics info, the support team came back straight away (even after hours) and thus they handheld until the problem is completely diagnosed. Then they suggested that we replace the jar with the blade assembly and offered a discount and arranged dispatch of the same. I have never come across a Customer service team who went above and beyond to diagnose a problem on a product which is out of warranty. It is the Customer services with a “C”. And I would have no hesitation to come back to your team in the future if I need any help.
Hats off to your team.

Greetings everyone. I’ve been using the Optimum 9200A pretty much everyday for 4 months mainly to make breakfast smoothies. I have also made basil pesto using nuts and cheese. Making oat flour is an absolute breeze as is pulping apples and zucchini. My only difficulty is getting all of the pesto out of the bottom of the mixing jug because we love… Read more · 3
it so much and the blender does such an awesome job! I sincerely can say that whoever buys this blender for whatever job you need doing will not be dissatisfied or disappointed! It is an awesome machine! It breaks everything down to deliciousness and works so well while it does it. I can confidently highly recommend this item. And a quick note to say that the Froothie team members that looked after me were brilliant, second to none! Thank you so much for your care and attention that you provided me. I am very grateful! Better living everyone! <3
It does the job. But we had the Optimum G2.3 model for close on 9 years and it is far superior to this machine. I find it difficult to read the settings panel, which is not illuminated, with black writing on a red background (the text does not create enough contrast). And it makes a fair bit of noise compared to the Optimum G2.3 which was… Read more · 1
beautifully quiet. If I had my chance again I'd buy the Optimum G2.3. But because this 9200A is an Optimum it should last the distance due to its quality build. But bear in mind this is good bang for buck as the G2.3 is a premium model for double the price.
A very good blender indeed. I own it since November 2024 and no regrets. I would prefer a larger cup base and the current cup is very narrow at the base and makes getting stuff out hard. A happy and satisfied customer Show details · 1

This review has nothing to do with froothie but with the product itself. Simply put, the blender is too powerful for the plastic Jug. The metal on metal fittings are excellent, however in order to handle the heat and power of the motor blades, a glass jug really should be used. Despite following the manufacturers directions, the jugs very quickly… Read more
start leaking and are not repairable. $100+ for a replacement jug is not worth it. If you want a powerful blender, find one with a metal or glass jug. Additionally, it is probably healthier to not have microplastic pieces being included in your healthy smoothie.
Think we got a lemon – The jug seal around bearing failed after 10 days of use. Aftersales support was incredible, I was offered a replacement jug free of charge, upgrade to a larger model at a discounted rate or a refund. The vendor did a great job. Show details

Not What I Expected ! – My machine smelt like it was burning out or under some strain when using pulse action the constancy of the smoothie was not fully blended and some of the fruit was lumpy I noted seeds remained as seeds and where not pulverised and I had to load it up quite a bit to cover the blades as it will not do small amounts. I had a lots left over and was… Read more
sick of the fruit smoothie even drinking it throughout the day also while in the fridge it separated into liquid and solid also the colour changed it was not an appetizing sight.
I dont think I would spend that sort of money on one had I known it did not do small amounts.

Swift communication in service, I realised I had purchased the wrong colour item and they’re team very quickly responded to my email and changed my order without delay! Was able to upgrade my order saving myself a good amount on a better model! The blender itself is awesome, does everything it says it dies, dry and wet blending and 2 L jug is a good size when cooking bulk soups etc. Overall a great experience and good product! Thank you! Excellent Blender. Had similar blender previously which lasted close to 7 years. Far superior blender compared to cheaper versions on the market. Would like the option of purchasing a Glass Jug as an option during the purchase process. Great recipe book also. Interesting recipes. Show details · 1
Someone told me about thus blender when I was just about to buy something else. It was a very good and helpful interruption. I have been using this for over a month th now and I am completely pleased. It is fast and very easy to clean. I am glad I made the right choice. Show details · 1
Been using for about 10 months. Does a decent job. A bit loud but tolerable. It can be a bit time-consuming to get the stuff out of the blender jug due to not being able to remove the blades but, that’s most higher-end blenders. Show details · 1
I purchased the blender in 2015. I contacted Froothie as the blender was intermittently leaking. The customer service was above and beyond. I was given a good deal on purchasing a new blade and the plate remover tool was complimentary. The blade & tool arrived quickly and I was able to have my blender working again like new, hopefully for another… Read more · 1
10 years! I commend the business model. It was great to be able to fix the blender to work like new & not contribute to land fill. Thank you, thank you. A very delighted customer.
Jug holed due to lower blade failure. Contacted Froothie immediately with photos in case of safety problems for others. Immediate response by service team and a new jug dispatched at no cost. Great service and a great product. Show details · 1

This is my second replacement jug for my Optimum 9200-V2 blender. Sadly both have broken by being knocked off the bench. Other than that it's a great blender and I would highly recommend. Show details · 1
I’ve been using this blender for a few weeks now, and it’s exceeded my expectations in every way. The motor is powerful enough to crush ice and frozen fruits with ease, making it perfect for smoothies, shakes, and even soups. The blades are super sharp, and the variable speed settings give me total control over the texture. I also love how easy it… Read more · 1
is to clean—just a quick rinse and it’s ready to go again. The build feels sturdy and well-made, and it doesn’t take up too much counter space. Overall, this blender is a fantastic value for the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable kitchen companion.
Love the fact that I didn’t have to buy the lid as well when I already had one. The jug is thicker than the original one, so it’s much quieter too. Great value Show details · 1
The best blender I have ever used, after initially buying other brands, which all died within a short period of time because of overheating. My first Optimum Blender was the 9200A 1st Generation which lasted three years. It handled large smoothies with frozen ingredients well. But I was most impressed by its ability to grind hundreds of kilos of… Read more · 1
linseed for my horses over the years, one heaped cup at the time for freshness and to preserve the motor, but still a workout for dry matter that doubles in volume. I have just bought the upgraded Optimum 9200A 2nd Generation two months ago and hope for the same longevity. The customer service team is also lovely and very helpful. Highly recommend.
This blender is fantastic and makes thick frozen smoothies with great ease. The removal of the lid centre is a great idea, as you can be blending and still add more ingredients to the mix. Love this and would highly recommend it! Show details · 1
The machine stopped working after one month. Thought it had died. But support was very prompt to respond. Just had to reset the 'overload protection' trigger. (unplug from wall, flip over, press overload switch and plug back in). All fixed. Show details · 3
I love the mini jug for blending small batches of dips. Unlike the lid of the big jug, the mini jug has stable lid and does not need to be held while blending food. Show details · 1
Excellent – This is a great machine that I’ve had since 2016. It has been used for making fruit and vegetable smoothies about 3-4 times per week and occasionally for nut butters. It works great and never missed a beat. It’s definitely one of the most powerful blenders on the market and making nut butters in it is quick and easy. It can overheat and switch off… Read more · 1
if using a lot of dried fruit like dates but I get around that by using a lot more nuts and less dried fruit when making fruit and nut balls. My only wish is that Froothie comes up with a stainless steel jug to fit the Optimum motor, as I am trying to reduce plastic in my food.
