I’ve had this blender since 2003. I received it as a present and it’s worked great. Never had an issue with it at all . I use it to make daiquiri and milkshakes. Crushes and blends ice like a dream and makes creamy milkshakes not like some of the cheaper blenders out there Show details

Terrible – A waste of money and poor quality. Does not do what it is advertised to do. It is disappointing that Breville sell a product like this. Looks good Only worked a few times. Overheated and the blade unit melted.

Terrible – What a joke this blender was. Such a disappointment and a big let down for an expensive Christmas present! Buy a cheapy stick blender instead. This blender looked good in my kitchen for the short period I had it. This blender is such a waste of money. I think I only used it around 5 times before the motor stopped working and the reset button… Read more

did not fix the problem. Unfortunately it was out of warranty so I paid someone to fix it and the same problem happened only 2 uses later. Apart from this on the occasions when it did work it was very difficult to pull apart to clean. Always had to get my husband to unscrew it which he also found near impossible.

Terrible – This was quite an expensive product which has performed very badly. I agree it is junk - Breville should be ashamed to sell such dodgy appliances Looks great Mine suddenly stopped while I was blending hummous dip. It smelt a bit hot however the resent button had no effect so it is now useless. My partner bought the same product which also broke… Read more

down while making a milkshake. The metal "teeth" at the bottom of the glass jug which connects to the motor simply sheared off. Although a few years old neither of the blenders had been used much at all.

OK – A fairly good, reliable blended, provided it's only used for quick pulses, or liquids for longer use to avoid over-heating. This model is really intended for making drinks rather than for cooking applications. It can be difficult to clean, and requires the jug and blade unit to be fully dismantled and thoroughly cleaned fairly regularly. … Read more

Provided care is taken, this unit is a great drinks blender. Handles most tasks without complaint, and looks good in most surroundings. If mechanism ever overheats slightly, blades will jam and tear up the mount for the bearings, so the blade unit will need to be replaced.
