Winter convenience – I am a chef and make all sorts of stuff in this. Can put it on in the morning and just forget and dinner is mostly ready when i get home. Good for not having a lot of time, and for those who enjoy stews etc. Takes a little learning to get your head around the times maybe but pretty simple after that. Made chicken soup with a whole chicken just yesterday. Can get a little singed around the simmer line but what pot wouldn't after that long. Would buy again or get a prussure cooker/slow cooker multi function machine when this breaks

Excellent – So far I've made a delicious beef stock, chicken cacciatore, tomato and beef ragu, and have a red curry going in this beauty right now. It's fantastic for getting dinner done well before dinner time and not having to think about it later on! This is my first slow cooker so I have nothing to say about whether it cooks too fast or not, as other people have mentioned. That being said, I don't follow the guide in the user manual, I just put everything in and taste-test around dinner time. So far I'm stoked with it! Really easy to use, good size, can turn it on and forget about it. I also like the shape. Nothing really!
