Stopped working suddenly – Had originally purchased this model during COVID. It stopped working and Breville did replace it. The second one also stopped working suddenly after being used a handful of times. Breville offered me a discount on the next purchase but I would rather avoid throwing good money after bad. Don't buy it. Show details

My favourite sandwich press! – This press makes the best toasted sandwiches! Nice, buttery crunchy outer, and the bread still remains thick and soft inside as the press doesn’t squash the bread too flat. In addition to toasted sandwiches, we reheat pizzas in it with the top lid propped on the higher (open melt) setting and the pizza base stays nice and crispy. I’ve also… Read more

reheated chicken schnitzels on this press and it’s so quick and easy to clean.

This is the second one I’ve had -the first one lasted about 4 years and the non-stick surface was still in excellent condition. When it stopped working (it just wouldn’t heat up at all), I researched many different presses but liked this one so much that I got another one 5 months ago from Bing Lee. The replacement is working perfectly and I’m glad I stayed with the same model as I love my crispy, fluffy toasted sandwiches!

Doesn’t last too long – Died after 15 months stopped working, no warning sign. Breville must have a built in exit timer. Annoying as it wasn’t cheap thought it might last longer than their other sandwich press machines but no ...... Show details

Takes too long and is not a great buy ! – I bought the press hoping it is a great choice. But unfortunately it’s not the best. Takes almost twice times as a normal press. I guess 1500W is not the best for press. Show details

Not quite so perfect – This press works OK, but having used both the Breville 'Toast and Melt' and this sandwich press I think the 'Toast and Melt' works just as well and is less expensive. I find when you put something in that is a little thick, the top plate doesn't stay level, but then it doesn't on the Toast and Melt either. Despite that both work effectively and produce nice toasted results.  Show details

Panini Plus – The Perfect Press is just that.... perfect. Cheese remains where it should, in the sandwich. The Press applies just the right amount of pressure to heat but not squash. My son loves his ham & cheese panini in his work lunch. Wraps, panini, toasties, I even use it to reheat. Very happy with the purchase.  Show details

Good for us – It does not squish your sandwiches and you can do open melts. My husband loves it and uses it quite often. It is a good size and it can fit 2 sandwiches or say 4 small wraps at a time. It cooks quite quickly for what appears a bulky item. Time saving, easy to use, easy to clean. The price was a bit steep but it does do as advertised.  Show details
