Poor ice crushing performance & daiquiri blending – I bought this to make frozen strawberry daiquiris. It continually just stops when crushing ice and gets caught under the blades. I had to make one at a time instead of several as it could only handle this. For a heavy duty blender it is not worth the money as it is not capable of even 2 at a time. It did not blend well using the green smoothie button either. The lid is also extremely hard to take off. Very disappointed with this purchase.
Poor design and no support, do not buy – Has a very obvious weak point on the handle of the lid which cracks from normal use. Breville won't cover it under warranty and try to charge you a fortune, more than half the cost of a brand new blender, for a new entire jug and won't just sell you the lid, avoid!!! Show details
disappointing – returned second blender. first one started to smoke. second one started to have burnt smell. bought half price from DJ. liked the style of the blender and large jug thats all. Show details
