Breville Wizz Chopper and Shaker BFP50

Great little gadget – Our Breville Wizz Chop and Shake is now in it's fifth year of service. It was great for making baby food when our son was an infant in 2009 and I just used it a few minutes ago to chop potatoes for quick cooking. (The baby is now 5 1/2 and asked for mashed potato after school on a cold wet day). Excellent machine! Reliable. Easy to use. Easy to clean.
Useless – This simply does not work properly. The blade /bowl configuration is not correct. The unit will only blend the material in direct contact with the blades, it does not draw unprocessed material down into it. It must be continually opened and contents manually pushed down. Even when liquid is added to assist the process it is not greatly improved. If I can find someone I dislike enough I will give it to them Its small. It does not work, basically functionally useless.
Frustrating to use – I thought i've found the perfect chopper in this product i.e., handy, reliable and inexpensive. This product is inexpensive and handy but unreliable. It's not that easy to use. It won't work unless you've found the centre of the flusk, which is difficult to locate. I'd spent longer hours in the kitchen than usual. Price affordable Difficult to locate the centre of the flusk.
