Bridgestone Ecopia Highway Luxury

Was recommended these tyres by Jax for my Santa Fe to replace the OE Nexen N8000s which had 58,000 km, including 18,000 km towing a caravan around Australia. Very disappointed with the tyres and with Jax for recommending a sub-par replacement. Comfort is just ok, handling is ok wet and dry - but wear is atrocious! 35,000 km of mostly highway driving (no towing) and they are ready to be replaced. Show details
I had my tire changed with mobiletyreshop recently. Excellent service. Efficient staff. Highly recommended
Worst tyres ever. Noisy at 100ks and due to have a stiff sidewall, they are uncomfortable to drive on - constant vibration. I even had my suspension checked because I thought there was an issue but had it confirmed it was just due to how hard the tyres are. Would never buy these again. Just annoying I have to put up with them now until they are worn. Show details
20,000 km in 18 months and down to the wear indicators. A lot more noise than I expected. Gripped well, never noted an issue but wouldn't pay the premium again. Show details
Great to drive on – I had tyres put on before heading to Melbourne from the Gold Coast and the tyres felt great and have hsd no issues. Show details
Don’t waste your Money – I have done 1300km on these tyres and need replacement. Went for tyre rotation at 7000km and told by Bridgestone dealer they don’t need rotating. Check them myself today and front left down to indicators. Psi correct and car was wheel aligned when tyres fitted. Tyre has worn evenly but worn out. Terrible tyre will not by another and please people don’t waste your money on this rubbish Wade Carter Show details

Not usual Bridgestone quality – Update April 2025 Have recently replaced again on my latest 2024 Toyota Kluger Hybrid AWD, can report I got 44000 KMs out of last set on previous 2022 Kluger, but they were very noisy and slippery at the end. Have bought again as replacement on latest 2024 Kluger as still better than OEM Toyos and are reasonable value if bought on 4 for 3 promo.… Read more

Replaced the OE Toyo A34 tyres on a 22 Toyota Kluger Hybrid AWD with the HL 001 in 235/65 18 size. Grip in wet is good, but tyre is soft in walls even at 40psi, much more rolly and fuel economy after 5000ks in the car has increased nearly 10%. Had them on a previous 20 Santa Fe and had a similar problem with increased fuel use. Wear looks to be similar to the OE Toyos would guess probably 40 to 45,000 kilometers but as I said very soft tyre in the walls and the increased fuel economy even at higher tyre pressures is a big worry. Alas Bridgestone Tyres don't seem to be what they used to be, particularly the ones coming out of factories in Thailand
Not a good product. Don’t waste your money – I would not recommend these tyres for either their fuel saving ability, or their longevity. I bought this tyre to see if it would save fuel as per its name. Not only did it not save any money, but they wore out much quicker than the cheaper tyres I normally put on. I had to replace them in under 15 months and less than 30,000km driven. I normally… Read more
get much longer out of my tyres, but they are so worn that when I went for the most recent tyre check and balance, the tyre shop told me the rear 2 tyres were so worn that they could not in good conscience rotate them, and that I should replace them within 2 weeks.
Ideal Fit – Good solid tyres that keep you on track. Easy to maintain and manouvre and fine on wet roads. Tread does not wear out too quickly and good on long distance. Important to rotate for longevity. Performance on rocky surface is steady and firm. would recommend. Show details
Happy with overall performance and life – I have just replaced with 4 new Ecopias H/L (have just replaced with the same tyres bought new) I got 63000km on them in 3 years (I ran nitrogen in them for the 3 years and had the nitrogen topped up at the specified intervals. All 4 tyres were just hitting the tread depth ware indicators. Combination of city and country driving - no offroad… Read more
driving. In a 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander AWD Petrol 7 Seater. I think they have provided a good life overall. The fuel economy claims are a bit of a spin I feel. However I felt safe on the roads in them. Cost during a buy 3 get 1 free promo incl fitting, balance and align, environmental levy, tubeless valves and nitrogen $1069 Jax Tyres.
Great day-to-day tyres – I am on my second set of these Bridgestone Ecopia tyres on my Subaru Forester. They currently have over 60 000 km on them and still have about a third of the tread pattern remaining. My previous set gave me around 75 000 Km before I changed them. When I read the reviews on this page about the tyres not lasting, I can only wonder what could have… Read more
happened to cause that. These reviews do not reflect my own experience at all and I have no complaints with the durability on these other than to say the replacement tyres never last the same distance as the ones that are supplied with the car when new. I was able to achieve around 100 000 km on the first set of tyres.
Great tire at a reasonable price – - Have these on my Toyota Estima (Tarago) AWD - Nice and quiet - Great wet weather performance, handling and braking, this is no sports tire. So you got to be realistic. - Wear - no comment, only done 10,000km on them, no strange or uneven wear so far based on basic visual inspection. Will update once I use them more. Show details

Know better, choose better.
Beware lasted less than 17000kms on a 2016 Ford territory – I bought as a set of 4 Ecopia H/L 001 tyres at a cost of $836 & had a $69 wheel alignment done at the same time by Bridgestone. I bought these specifically because I was told they were suitable for my vehicle and a vast improvement on and much better wearing than all previous Ecopia tyres. A visit for my third tyre rotation (slightly overdue)… Read more
revealed all 4 tyres needed replacing. 3 were very warn & 1 was completely scrubbed out. These tyres which had been rotated at approx 5000 km lasted less that 6 months & travelled a total of only 16816 kms. I can only assume the tyres are faulty or the Bridgestone team messed up my wheel alignment. In 40 years of car ownership I have never purchased a tyre with such a low durability as the Bridgestone Ecopias H/L 001, including cheap retreads purchased during the 1980s. To Bridgestones credit they offered a free wheel alignment check and sold me another 4 tyres, still with no guarantees offered ...... but I really dont feel it was compensation enough.
2023 update - After some advice I have since moved across to Toyo (open country) tyres, still going strong 50.000 km later. I have come to the conclusion Bridgestone do not make a suitable 17 inch tyre for Ford Territorys
Wish I had sooner – Now I realise my mistake of getting all-terrain tires on my Honda CRV 9 years ago. Now with these 4 new tires: there is no latency when I brake, no fishtailing around tight corners, no additional concerns on wet roads, and no increasing stereo volume to overcome noisey tires. These tires appear to be of good quality that are not going to wear down… Read more
quickly or pop at slightest bump. I’m very impressed & keen to drive my car for another 9 years just to experience what I’ve been missing out on. Note: my previous old Bridgestone all-terrain tires may have not been suited for my car & purposes but lasted 9years & over 85,000km.
Total Satisfaction - Great Performers, Driving Pleasure and Dependable – I got these fitted on my 2015 Ford Territory and they are so good. Used my car in different types of severe weather conditions, wet & dry, different road conditions and have found them thoroughly performing in terms of being super quite, good road grip, solid driving control and peace of mind of being dependable road partners. They are the best… Read more
value for money and have just ordered a replacement set of 4 for the price of 3. Even better............. I am super satisfied
Did not even last a single year with less than moderate use – Got these tyres for my Subaru Forester, replacing the JTrax I had on it as I was told it was a step up from them. The car was hardly driven during the pandemic time as we settled into working from home. When I turned up for the complimentary wheel alignment at Bob Janes, the guys are telling me the two front tyres are showing cords already. I've… Read more
probably obtained more mileage from wheelbarrow tyres than these ones. Terrible and would never recommend to anyone again.
The Ideal Replacement – I bought these to replace a set of Goodyear Wranglers. Here's the back story. When I bought my people mover, one of the things I really like about it was how quiet it was. It had no name tyres on it and when they wore out I wanted something I had actually heard of. Well, Wranglers went on and after that it sounded like one of those 4wd's with mud… Read more
tyres. Oh, another thing, they kept losing air. Fast forward a couple of years and it was time to replace them. I thought having done X amount of more kilometres, the drive train would make more noise and my quiet driving days would be over. I chose Bridgestone Ecopia purely because the shop was close to work and I had heard of the brand. I paid $645 for four tyres and $65 for an alignment that it may not have needed but hey, I was at the work shop so... Anyway, I pull out of the car park and could tell the difference instantly. I have had them a few weeks now and still drive along surprised at the difference. *I never bother worrying about fuel economy so I can't comment on Bridgestone's claims of improved fuel usage.
