Not worth it – I have used this brand before, it was a vibrant purple and it lasted so long I loved it. They have changed their formula I swear. The dye looked amazing as soon as I washed it out and dried my hair. But then the next day it had faded a lot. On day 3 it looks like vomit and has tinted my hair a very ugly colour. Show details
Best semi-permanent dye available! – I love love love this dye! It is such a nicer colour than other semi-permanent hair dyes in the same price range. I only use the bright colours now though- be warned that I had a lot of staining that I can only grow out with pastel colours! tried the pink, purple and turquoise-all great.
As others state- it wont stain your shower if you wet it down first and give it a good rinse at the end. Skin/body staining can occur but fades itself, sometimes it takes a couple of days but you can scrub it off with some soap and an exfoliating glove. Use a thin layer of vaseline on your face ears and neck to stop it there. Wear old raggy clothes you dont mind staining on (I have a hair dye shirt covered) and a plastic cape if you have one.
I have A LOT of hair so need about 3 boxes a time, but only redo every 3 months or so, shampooing about twice a week in cooler water.
Very pleased with this product – Colous are vibrant and long-lasting. I always use vaseline around my hairline, and gloves when applying. Have had no issues with my skin getting stained. I wash off any spills in the sink or shower while still wet and there has been no problems with mess. I always rinse well after colouring, and use an old towel for drying. Have had no problems with colour transfer. Product is on par with Arctic Fox, and much cheaper. Show reply

gorgeous, so bright and vivid. I haven’t had any problems with staining, but it is because i take my precautions because i know that is a product that it’s meant too stain!!!
Mermaid Hair – I have dark hair which I bleach before applying colour. Been using Turquoise and Blue and the lighter your hair the more vibrant. Lavender and Purple took to my hair prior years before but Denim did not. The Turquoise is hard to strip off though when I rebleach roots etc. So I'm stuck with Mermaid hair and to be honest I dont care because I love it!
