Really impressive work – I chose Browne's Fencing from a pile of quotes as they were around the lower to mid of the pricing range and their quote was prompt and clear. We took some time getting things organised as there was disputes between neighbours as to the charge split but Browne's waited patiently as it was settled. with a lack of communication between their admin and us, but I imagine a small private business can be a lot to manage. It just would have been nice to receive updates with potential delays to installation and why (wet weather did cause issues). But once the message came that the installation date was set, the tradesmen were very efficient. The three lovely gentlemen who did the work were so friendly, courteous, lovely to talk to, respectful of our property and our home, and worked really hard at getting the job done. The end result was a beautiful new fence perfectly installed and all rubbish removed at the end. I can't recommend this company highly enough, I'm really pleased with the end result. Thank you Browne's for exceeding my expectations on the quality of the work. I hope you're still there for me when I need my two side fences replaced. Poor work and even poorer communication – I would have rated this company's work as 'bad' but their follow up customer service has led me to rate them as 'terrible'. Brownes Fencing was the company contracted to do our fencing for our new build. alerted them of this issue, they offered to come out and assess the situation. Apparently, someone came to assess but did not alert us when they arrived at the property...weird way of trying to communicate with customers if they do not know you are there. Brownes then had a contractor come and install plinths to one side of our house (no offer to rectify the other fences). When the contractor arrived, he advised he could not install the plinths as the paving had to be removed. We have tried to follow up with Brownes several times with no success, so we are currently in limbo unable to do our backyard which has gaps under the fence and exposed concrete. Brownes have admitted there is an issue with the fencing height, but their lack of communication and proactivity in rectifying the situation has been the biggest disappointment.

Deceiving [Content Removed] of a company – ***Do not use these company they are deceiving*** I asked for the full fence to be done, they did half the fence and left the other half on the ground. Side Gate - Slat – Recently had a slat gate installed to the side entry to my new home, the installer did a great job and I was quoted a great price. The job was done well and really happy with the service.

Fault – This company does not return calls nor answer calls when problem arises. But at first, he is very prompt and punctual in giving a quote.Now he wants to charge me extra for his workmen's negligence. Also, was left with huge concrete chunks and hardifence remnants all over the backyard.

If you want unprofessional service and your property left in an absolute mess then these are the guy – I arrived home to find my hosepipe splayed out along my yard, the deck and floor covered in mud, my plants had been trampled flat and trees completely hacked beyond the "accessible" requirement. However, I now continue to discover pieces of the old fence scattered throughout the flower bed, lightly buried in the sand where it was removed. They never cleaned up the last bits of the remaining fence, they just lightly and recklessly buried the pieces (which my puppy now digs up and chews!). When I tried contacting Brownes Fencing about the issue, they chose not to respond, thus the review you are reading now.

I most definitely would not recommend Brownes Fencing.

Great service, great product, great result – We got in contact with Scott from brownes fencing as a few people in our estate had also gone with him for their fences. I had a change to the fencing colour and style we had originally approved due to a neighbour which meant Scott needed to change colour and style of fence only fags before the job needed to go ahead. I contacted Scott expecting potential issue but he was more than helpful stating he will change the fence and it will take a little longer now due to ordering the new stuff in but otherwise all good. End result was a fantastic job at a very reasonable price (given previous quotes from other companies) and a very professional and helpful service culture. Thanks again Scott.

Worth a shot – I wanted a straight-forward pinelap fence built adjoining my front yard with the neighbour's, totalling about 8m in length. quote, which was comparable to another I had already received, but the friendly and timely manner in which [name removed] had conducted his business meant he got the job. We arranged a date for the work to be done, but for some reason they came a day later than we had arranged, which I found inconvenient. They didn't return my phone message, and didn't let me know what time I should expect them, so I was surprised the next day when grandfather and grandson arrived. The work was done in about 5 hours, and although the outcome was a little different to what I envisaged, I was happy enough with the job.

However, I needed to fix one end of the fence to my pergola myself, and fill the gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground layer, and I ended up using the left over timber to do so. I also had to fill another gap between the fence and my neighbour's gate with some left over colourbond sheeting I had lying around. I would have expected these gaps to be covered by the fencing contractors but I may have not foreseen this when I asked for the quote. I'm also not a smoker and didn't like finding cigarette butts left in the sand after the job. Overall, they were quick to secure the job and courteous to a point, but lost a few points for inconveniencing me by turning up late without due notification. They're work was reasonable and I think they're worth a shot to quote your next fencing job.
