Not sure! – This bread helps my bowel movement to be honest or was it because of the butter and vegemite that I used?! Not sure but I'm quiet happy with it. Taste good too. I love the seeds.
mixed blessings – I look forward to Burgen Wholegrain & Oats for breakfast - it makes great toast usually. But this makes for major disappointment when it is unexpectedly unusable, either because it is mouldy (a day or more before it's use by date) or the thickness of the slices varies to such extremes that most of the loaf is useless. Also it's often not available fresh at any of the major outlets.

Love it! – Yes, it isn't cheap, but none of the really good breads is. I love the taste and the texture, haven't had any issues with disfigured slices like some of the other users. Particularly good when toasted. I find it comparable to Vogel's bread which is a serious compliment in my book. Tasty, great dense texture, healthy
Good – My husband and I both love the taste of this bread. It's the perfect balance of flavour and health benefits. The price can be a bit steep, but whenever it is on sale we pick it up. It's also great as toast, but needs a little more time to cook because it is so dense. Although smaller sized, the slices are dense and filling. It has a lot of… Read more
interesting texture and is flavourful. The health benefits are a real plus and it tastes a lot better than most high fibre breads. It's more expensive than most brands. Sometimes you get a loaf that is loose or has large wholes throughout it, which makes putting spreads on it a bit messy.
Good – I think burgen is one of the healthier breads available through the supermarket. Unlike some wholegrain breads it is packed full of the seeds and other things it advertises. Although at first the taste takes some getting used to, the health benefits are worth it. I bought this bread originally for the low GI after being diagnosed with Diabetes. … Read more
It has health benefits and I have also found it to be very filling. It is quite expensive and the slices are smaller so psychologically you may not feel as full. It also has quite a strong taste which takes some getting used to.
