This is a tasty bread, with nice sized slices. Other wholemeal bread with seeds are too large. This is perfect for me.

Burgen Wholemeal bread with seeds – For a change from Burgen Rye bread I am now using Burgen Wholemeal with seeds bread. I think this is my favourite bread now. I wouldn’t use any other breads. Thank you.

Thank you. I alternate between Wholemeal bread and Rye bread. We are so lucky.

Favourite 'premium' yet no-nonsense bread – Moist, dense, tasty bread. Very high in fibre, relatively high in protein. Less of a 'poser' than other premium breads - isn't oversized and doesn't have a fancy-looking crust or packaging. Instead, its strengths can be seen in its nutrition panel. Main complaint is it's under-stocked by supermarkets, and there isn't an alternative up to the same standard, including other Burgen varieties (e.g. their Whole Grain & Oats has around 20% less protein and 30% less fibre) - may as well save your money and buy Tip Top 9 Grain wholemeal.

Filling and Delicious – Before I begin, Burgen bread is more expensive than other choices. But what you get in the loaf makes up for the difference. It is denser than most breads and has a good degree of softness and is also delicious toasted. Doesn't fall apart very easy like some reviewers have mentioned on other Burgen varieties. Most amazing is that this bread is low GI (34) according to the packaging, so it's really quite healthy and an excellent alternative to most other breads. Low GI, delicious, keep you full. Moderately expensive.

Delicious but not worth price – I find the burgen range to be rather glorified and this is no exception, wile it is defintly a healthy dense bread that is chewy, I feel that it's just trying to use flashy catchphrases such as low gi, weight management to try and jusify it's price. If it had a couple more slices then yes it would be worth it but as it stands, other grainy breads such as tip top 9 grain is just as good and better value.

Or a fresh loaf of sourdough. Dense and chewy, a wholemeal bread with seeds The price isn't worth the loaf especially for families
