The experience from the start has been poor. First, it arrived in the packaging without a bassinet cover. Then after a week of light use, the clip on the front down the bottom is either broken or no longer working. car difficult during an already difficult time. I would love to say that the pram struggles to fit only on occassion, however, it does not fit into doorframes new or old. It does not fit into disabled bathrooms or walkways in bassinet mode (narrower than the car seats mode).
For the price point, the missing/damaged pieces and the inability to use in even 50% of public places, is truly frustrating and disappointing.
I will contact support to rectify the missing item and damaged lock, however it does not change the issues we have experienced.
Best twin pram ever – We bought the bugaboo donkey twin pram 2 years ago with the birth of our twins. This pram has been amazing from birth to now two and a half years later. The toddlers still fit great in it and sleep well when we are out. Being able to connect our capsules into it was a God send when they were little. It has high quality clips and opens and folds up with ease .It is a must when you have twins and recommend highly. Show details · 1
Worth every cent! – Being a first time mum, I wanted a pram that was going to provide lots of support for my little one, easy to fold down and put up, durable and of course looks great. corners. I love walking so I wanted a pram that could handle doing 5-10km per day which is why the wheels needed to be used lol durable. 8 months in and they are still going strong. I choose Forest Green which I am always receiving compliments. This pram is very easy to pull down and put up, just one easy click of a button. My favourite part about the pram is the side attachment (basket) which no other prams have. I put all my essentials in there so when my baby needs something it’s in arms reach. The side basket is also great for shopping, it holds a decent amount of items making it easier to shop on your own as you don’t need to physically hold your shopping bags. We also wanted a pram that could turn into a double as we are wanting to have kids close in age, therefore we decided to go the donkey which would save us from buying another pram in the future. Overall I cannot fault the Bugaboo Donkey 5, it has been by far the best investment - you will not be disappointed.
Elite pram – This is by far the best pram on the market, this is the second pram for me now I did a lot of research before choosing this pram. fabrics are exceptional quality. The only slight problem I have is when packing down is the two buttons you have to press they get slight stuck.
Amazing pram – I needed a pram that will accommodate a second child when that time comes, I can purchase the extension later on to transform the donkey mono into the duo. I have checked out many other brands and designs however I didn't like how some prams were fixed side by side or staggered on-top of each-other. great for small grocery shopping. It is much smoother on the uneven foot path compared to my previous pram. Easy to steer with one hand. It is very pricey but I think it is worth it so far!!
Troublesome wheels – I love the design of this pram because of it’s configuration and adaptability for one to two children, however the two front wheels cannot handle a fast walking pace and rattle uncontrollably. I have replaced the wheels to foam and tighten with alan keys often and have no improvement. If I were to have my time again and buy a pram, I’m not sure my love for this design would be enough for me to choose it again. Show details
