reassuring on this front - Mosquito net - I prefer the off brand use of this being able to keep my cats out of the bassinet - Waterproof mattress - no need for a mattress protector - Included sheet right out of the box. Also all my old bassinet sheets fit very snugly on the mattress which is great from a safe sleep perspective

Cons - the wheels are too small to be useful - due to its size it's not very mobile - the mosquito net often comes undone from its press stud, especially with the zipper undone. It is also difficult to pull over the sides without one side slipping off - a lip or some simple hooks would easily fix this - the maximum height setting is not tall enough to match the height of my ensemble bed by a good 7-10cm

Overall, I would definitely purchase this again. A few tweaks would remove some frustrations.

practical to put up & down regularly because it is very clunky and wakes baby when I try to hook it back into place. 3. The top edge of the open sides should have a soft edge as they are hard plastic which would be painful if knocked. 4. The mattress size is unique and I couldn't find any other sheets to fit aside from the Babybee ones, which adds to the cost. You need to factor in the cost of an extra 2 sheets to the purchase price because you will need these. 5. It took me some trial and error to work out the best spot for it alongside my bed, as there are no images of the pod actually set up as a co-sleeper on the Babybee website, so I ended up emailing the company to ask how best to set it up. It would be helpful if they included some more images of ways to set it up along the bed. I've ended up moving my bedside table and having the pod right by the top of the bed so my head is level with baby, but I do have to sleep lower in the bed so that the sheets/doona don't hang into the pod. Overall its a lovely co-sleeper and much sturdier than some others that I looked at in stores.

Really happy with the Babybee Pod bassinet overall, solid quality and very practical. The only small thing is that it rocks back and forth a little on the feet, but it’s a minor issue and hasn’t affected how we use it. Show details

website states a bassinet should be "Good breathability zones on all four sides to reduce the risk of suffocation and to provide good ventilation for baby." Unfortunately, one of the larger sides of this bassinet has a material covering and not safe if bubs was to wriggle up against it during the night.

Our newborn is a wriggler and we are no longer comfortable using this bassinet. This bassinet would be perfect if they used the mesh around all four sides.

Its just a shame we didn't realise sooner and cannot return it.

Great product but dimensions are tricky – I love the look and sturdiness of this bassinet, however I am finding it really tricky to get mattress protectors and sheets that fit the dimensions. Check you can find sheets before purchasing this

Not as good as they say – My baby likes to sleep on the edge with his head touching the side of the bassinet. When he turns his head during the night to self soothe, he ends up hitting his head on the wood. The bassinet should be mesh all the way around, however it is not. There is wood on the side where there is an opening.

soft, and stylish enough to fit seamlessly into any room without looking bulky or out of place. It feels like a piece that was thoughtfully made not just for baby, but for the home as well.

What really stood out to me was how practical it is. Everything about it feels sturdy and well-designed, but not bulky either. Putting it together was surprisingly easy too, which was a a huge relief ... no complicated instructions or fiddly parts, just simple and straightforward assembly.

Most importantly, my daughter loves it, and being able to see our granddaughter resting so peacefully in it makes my heart full.

All in all, I couldn’t have chosen a better gift. The Babybee POD 2 is a beautiful combination of style, comfort, and practicality. I’d happily recommend to any new parent or grandparent looking for that perfect, thoughtful present.

This pod has been a great bassinet for our newborn. The adjustable height makes it perfect to be beside our bed with easy access to our baby. The storage basket underneath is a great size to keep any items we need during the night. Having the side zipper makes it an effortless night where we are in the comfort our own room.

The bassinet is fantastic, compact but with plenty of room for bub to use it for several months. Love being able to adjust the height and makes an excellent co-sleeper next to our bed. Easy to pack down and set up when going away, overall our best purchase.

The biggest bassinet I’ve ever owned allowing bigger babies plenty of room to grow and maximise the time you can use it. Love the drop down side and storage for underneath. We’ve been using the POD for two months since our daughter was born. It is well designed and feels very sturdy. The drop sode feels very safe when using as a co-sleeper bassinet as we do. My baby isn't here yet, but the Pod was really easy to set up, looks great and the shelf underneath has enough room and is stable enough for my nappy/breastfeeding caddy to sit on. We’ve been using the Pod for our newborn and have been really happy with it. While we’re not using the co-sleeper function due to our bed setup, it still works perfectly as a standalone bassinet. The firm mattress gives us confidence around safe sleep, and the breathable mesh side is a huge plus. It feels sturdy but also lightweight enough to move around the house when needed.
