Bush Radio BR320DABC - absolute rubbish
I bought this radio in july this year for$250. I left it in it’s box for around 30 days. I bought it in preparation of my new workplace so I would have a quality radio. 2 weeks ago I started using it but after 4 days of using it the colour screen which Bush boasts is the best on the market failed. As the radio is operated totally from the menus on the screen, the radio is as good as useless.
I thought I would have no trouble getting this fixed but it turns out to be not that easy. I have contacted Bush Australia. They have told me to contact the seller but the EBay seller wants nothing to do with it. Bush Australia gave me the name of the service agent. I contacted them and they have told me that the radio is uneconomical repair and told me to contact the seller to get a replacement. Again the seller says he is not interested in helping.
The seller told me that he can’t give me warranty as he didn’t get warranty when he purchased the units. Incidentally he is still selling these radios on EBay. I mistakenly thought if I bought a reputable brand & I would have no trouble. The seller gave me some money back and basically told me to go away.
So now I am left with a BUSH radio which is brand new and I can’t read the screen. Despite BUSH advertising how good their radios are, as far as I am concerned they are absolute rubbish. A $250 radio that lasted 4 days.
Don’t be fooled by BUSH Australia’s advertising, their warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on. I could have bought a much cheaper radio and it would probably still be working now
I’m not sure what to do now as I feel I have been left in the cold. I thought Bush would have tried to help but as yet I have heard nothing. 4 days was all it lasted.
Excellent sound and range of stations
After years of annoying alarm clock radios which don't pick up stations, I have found the perfect one. I use it for the radio alarm every morning (which has never failed once) and listening to sport on the internet radio. The sound is amazing and deep, with thousands of worldwide stations to choose from. It has a few handy features such as using as a bluetooth speaker for your devices, setting a sleep function to turn the radio off after a set time and accessing it remotely using the UNDOK app.
If I had to find things that could be better:
It is quite difficult to set snooze (a big button on top would've been better)
I have screen brightness set to low - this is perfect for sleeping but cannot be seen during any part of the day
(unless you walk right up to it and cover with your hand).
If I move it to the other half of the house, the internet radio drops out (I can normally use wifi here but the radios
signal mustn't be as strong)
All in all the pros far outweigh the cons and I would highly recommend it.
Bush BR320 DABC - superb radio, great sound.
This is a really good quality DAB+ radio with good sound and great features. Very easy to setup and tune for stations, including connection to the network & searching for web stations etc. Bought 2 units for bedrooms, since it makes an excellent clock/radio/alarm. Highly recommended. Can't really find anything to fault on this radio.
Small unit, BIG on features and sound quality
Pros: Unit plays DAB and FM radio, and is also an internet radio and network music player. Plenty of power with decent base from the single front speaker (With rear base port). Unit can be remote controlled from your Android or Apple phone using the free Wi-Fi remote app called "UNDOK" (Works via the same Wi-Fi router that is connected to your phone and this device). Undock app makes using the unit even more easy. Has line out (via stereo RCA jacks), headphone jack, and a line in function too. Plus, a USB powered port for charging or powering any USB devices you have (Charge your phone with the USB port while using the player for radio at home or work/ office)
Excellent Internet Radio Great Sound
We got this last week and it is fantastic!
We were listening to local New Orleans radio while making dinner in the weekend than flipped over to Seattle for awhile then down to Louisiana for some local Bluegrass.
Really great sound and big colour screem make this a superb all round radio - it does DAB, FM and Spotify too but it really shines as internet radio with that screen and easy to use interface.
Lost of fun and excellent audio
Internet Radio Picks Up Few Stations
The internet radio function on this radio is terrible, I have 2 other internet radios at home and this is the worse, the other 2 work perfectly. It keeps timing out when searching for stations and when it finds them it won't connect, will return this to ebay seller for a refund. Very disappointing.
Bush BR320DABC Digital & Internet Radio with Colour Display
I bought this Product through Bush on ebay and it is by far the Best Internet Radio I have ever purchased. I love it that much I even bought a second one for the Kitchen. It has so many features to offer. The sound Clarity and features are second to none. You can play loud without distortion which is brilliant.
You can play music using your NAS or a cloud on your home Network or even hook it up with your Mobile phone using Spotify or Bluetooth. The amount of Internet radio stations is just amazing. Buy with Confidence. You will not regret it
Take a line out for great sound
Bush's BR320DABC Digital Radio has DAB, FM, Internet radio, Bluetooth, Spotify, Aux in and a LINE OUT. This is fantastic because you can link it to a stereo (or other) sound system for more oomph and the BR320DABC will give Bluetooth support to an older-style stereo/ system. The Bush radio has a 3.2″ Colour Display that let's you see what is playing, and/ or you can read it on the App, which you put on your smart phone if you want a remote control. The App also supports multi-room set ups.
On the downside, I cant believe that at an original price of over $300, Bush were too mean to put in a tweeter! Sure the (mono) speaker gives decent mid-range sound but its upper frequency performance is weak. Volume is adequate for a standard size room but you really will get great pleasure from this radio+ if you take a line out to link it to a decent sound system. (For example, see my review of the Pioneer A20 amplifier).
I just noticed Bush BR320DABC radios at less than half RRP on eBay and that makes them very good value; I paid $220 and have no regrets.
I bought this on eBay and made an offer $20 below the $150 being asked. I didn't want to go overboard and push the envelope so to speak. The offer was accepted which included delivery and I got the unit a couple of days later. Very happy with it, turn it on and off from the UNDOK app on my phone or IPad which is great because the eyesight isn't as great as it used to be. I mainly use the internet radio as where I have moved to, does not have DAB reception. Mainly listen to talkback on it so can't really comment of the music quality but the voice quality is clear.
It's a good look with a neat colour display. Would recommend this to others looking for an internet radio.
One thing I would have liked was for it to be have the capability of connecting to bluetooth headphones.
Highly recommended this internet radio
I have also purchased the panorama internet radio years ago and this bush internet radio is much more refined. It loads quicker, colour display, Bluetooth are all features that my other radio doesn't have. Highly recommended this internet radio. I paid $150 on eBay as a second (damaged box).
