Bushells Classic

Un-potable – Instant coffee ☕in this country (Australia) is atrocious. Bushels coffee ☕ is only potable with pure milk & sugar. I don't mind paying for good quality coffee but I expect flavour in return. The same applies for most instant coffee brands. Also make sure you add the coffee with the milk before heating in the microwave as it forms bitter coffee Lumps or granules.
Excellent coffee – Excellent, fantastic taste. Lovely consistency, desolves very easily. Great cup of coffee, very smooth. Purchased a 200g tin at aldi for approx 6 dollars. Great value! Definitely my favourite instant coffee so far. Show details
tasteless – coffee is tasteless and very boring to drink. A waste of money Show details
Weakest and least flavoursome coffee I can remember drinking – I'm disappointed by my latest Bussell classic coffee purchase. I don't remember it being so flavourless; has the recipe changed? Aldi's decaffeinated tastes more like coffee than this stuff. Show details
Love it!!! ☕️ – We've been drinking it for years. We own both a drip coffee and Nespresso machine, but never use them as we much prefer this bushells coffee. Love the taste- never bitter or burnt. Mixes well. Highly recommend! Show details
Best houso coffee I've had! – Compared to moccona and Nescafe instant coffees. This one seems so much smoother.
I am surprised – I usually drink Moccona classic 8 or expresso 10 but I bought the Bushells classic thinking I will give it a try. It was a good surprise! I put two tea spoons, the aroma already feels like real coffee. Then I put half cup of hot water, stir, then add milk, surprisingly it has the creamy rich taste like a real brew coffee from the coffee shop. I… Read more · 1
dont know how much caffeine it contains, like many commented maybe it is not strong, but with two tea spoons powder I feel it just fine for me. I think I am in love with this Bushells after so many years drinking Moccona.
Great All Rounder! – I don't claim to be a Coffee Connoisseur like others, but I know what I like and I like this coffee, it's cheap to buy, it's contained in a Tin (like Milo) rather than glass and it's great as hot coffee or as an iced/cold all milk coffee, it's creamy and doesn't keep me awake and buzzing when I go to bed. It’s cheap, DIY Home Latte and taste good – I m a coffee drinker and loved to buy takeaway coffee from cafe either ordered a latte or cappuccino. But due to budget constraint, I can’t afford to buy takeaway everyday therefore I seek alternative to DIY drink it at home. I have been drinking this Bushells coffee since 5 yrs ago but I mixed it with other coffee powder like Nescafé or Moccona… Read more
because Bushells coffee will enhance your drink and makes it much creamier and then remembered to finish off with a few sprinkles of chocolate/cocoa powders on top before drinking. Your drink will look like latte or cappuccino without a coffee machine. Try it and you will hook on it like I do.
Weak – I drink my coffee strong.. This is not a bad tasting coffee... But it's so weak you need 4 or 5 teaspoons to get any real flavour... The reviews on here regarding the ibis was spot on
Great any time, perfect at the end of the day – 'Bushell's' 'Classic' instant coffee is a lovely mild roasted coffee which is ideal for people who don't like heavily, dark roasted coffee, and as a mild roast is extremely good for you too with many health benefits. It has a gentle mild taste, and is ideal at the end of the day or any time relaxing, I can't drink heavily dark roasted coffee,… Read more
it's too strong, this is one of the good ones, a heaped or gently heaped tea spoon is good, more if you like it stronger, it's simply ideal for relaxing with, watching tv or dvd's or with like minded friends.
Fantastic tasting coffee – I have been drinking this coffee for 5 years and I love it, unfortunately not all supermarkets stock it, and then Im forced to buy my 2nd favourite coffee (international Roast).
The Ibis of coffee – Terrible coffee. If a bin diving ibis could be made into coffee this would be the result. Or for those who don't know what an ibis is, this coffee is like that contestant on a singing competition show that's convinced they're Sinatra but actually cause your ears to bleed. Bushells make great tea, but with this coffee they managed to create a drink… Read more
that smells terrible (not remotely like coffee) and simultaneously has no flavour so you feel like you drinking hot water. But don't worry, that terrible smell comes back to kick you as a potent after taste that makes you contemplate giving up coffee all together.

Know better, choose better.
An instant Classic – I don't normally like instant coffee but after drinking this I was pleasantly surprised, very impressed with this coffee. Will drink again.
Suits Us – This coffee is mild and smooth. A flat teaspoon, half teaspoon honey and full cream milk is very pleasant and not like the strong brews in coffee shops. Funny, I only like 'real' beer.
Good for flat whites – I drink black coffee with no milk and i am sorry to say i didn't like the taste of this coffee at all. It's powder so i thought it would be smooth in taste, but it is very bitter. However, my parent like the coffee, as they usually add milk and sugar to their coffee. I would recommend this coffee for flat whites as it's strong taste would be a good balance for the sweetness of added milk and sugar.
Cheap rubbish that can't compete with Coles Homebrand coffer! – I bought this on special at Coles for 9 AUD which works out to be approximately a little less than $2 per 100 grams. First of all it is powdered coffee and not even granulated. When compared to Coles homebrand coffee which is at the time of this writing is $4 for 200grams it can't match the taste. I therefore put forward the Bushells challenge.… Read more
Buy a tin of Bushells Classic coffee and then buy the Coles homebrand coffee and compare the taste. The Coles brand wins hands down. I hope everyone at the Bushells takes this challenge for your coffee is sub standard.
Poor taste, not sure if its coffee or poor grade chocolate – Not sure what they mean by "smooth" coffee taste but I'm quite disappointed with the flavour of this coffee.
A shining example of Australian product quality – After drinking this Instant Coffee I can confidently say I am proud to be part of a country that has such a high standard of product quality. The taste was rich, and the texture was immensely satisfying. Over all a perfect product, what else could you expect from an iconic Australian business. Excellent taste and texture, very high quality Packaging is a bit dull, yet has a classic Australian feel to it.
