couldn’t be on the flight last Monday. After I knew my husband couldn’t fly I rang phone number listed on website for support many times but nobody answered me at all. There was only endless music. I tried to submit multiple online enquire forms and still hadn’t received one single reply. I tried email assist@byojet.com to inform them I could send all medical certificates to them if they needed. No reply, not even big of showing sympathy. They just ignore totally. How bad it is regarding customer services! When customers have urgent problems they should be able to reach someone for support. Otherwise online you should not list phone numbers for people to ring you if it’s fake. Never ever book tickets through them!

I booked a flight from ORD to Calgary and the flight was canceled by the airline due to Internal strike issues by their staff. since same class of tickets were available. However they delayed requesting airlines ( a week) till it got sold out so I have to pay. I cancelled the tickets but they still are yet to refund - reason given is that airlines hasnt provided. But airlines confirmed they sent refund days ago.
Please use another agent - Trip.com - or buy from airlines.
Avoid this BYOJET if you want a peace of mind.

Shame there is no option for zero stars. They sometimes have good prices which is why people get fooled into purchasing with them. by the airline because of the situation in the middle east, and since then it has been a nightmare! Trying to communicate with them, it takes on average an hour or two waiting time on the phone to even speak to someone (same for their online chat service). The staff are disinterested, lack training in customer service and frankly do not know what they are doing. I am still waiting for my refund which I am certain it gains them a nice income in interest while they hog my money. Do yourself a favour and book directly with the airline or if you MUST use an OTA go with booking.com (or gotogate, same thing).

over there, but it means I need to change the date of my return flight. At the time of booking I paid extra for refundable tickets and VIP Support. I have emailled, live-chatted and called BYO Jet many times over the last weeks. The one time I got through (after 5 hour wait time) they said it was not refundable, despite me paying $350 at the time of booking for refundable tickets. I have explained to them about my diagnosis and the clinical trial. I do not want to cancel I just want to change my return flight and upgrade to business class because it is my last trip and I am in pain. I am happy to pay extra for this. But the only time we got through to them they simply refused to help without a medical letter. I have that now, but I cannot get them on the phone or on live chat. I am waiting on a reply to my email. Today I have been waiting for 4+ hours on the phone and simultaneously on live chat, which told me at the beginning my estimated wait time was 50 minutes. If this is how they treat their terminally ill customers who have paid extra for VIP Support, I would hate to know how they treat standard customers. Rates were better compared to other OTAs and direct airline websites. It was easy to book and navigate around. I've had no issues with receiving confirmation email and flight itineraries after. So far, seamless and hassle-free booking. I hope aftersales services would be good as well, but hoping I wouldn't need it. Would recommend.

phoned the BYO and they made a change (that is what they told me). I never received itinerary. one week before my trip I started ringing them to check why they haven't sent the itinerary with the change but got usual reply that they are working on it and that someone will send it or ring me to confirm when it was done. I then started calling Turkish airline (a main airline for this trip) but they said that BYOjet hasn't finalised the booking so they cannot do anything about it. So to cut the story short I was never able to travel as I haven't had a valid ticket. I am now waiting to see if I am going to get any refund at least for it. I am on the phone with them (5th time for 2h wait time). Many times when I ring they pretend that they do not hear me and hang up. Worst agency ever! I never going to book flights with them again.

Took a while to connect to the live agent (circa 2 hours), would be 5 stars if it wasn't so long. Once I was connected, Vien was great in helping me change my flights. Very helpful and great service. website is so unhelpful that you submit a query online and NO response ever. Tried to do an online chat, and the standard reply is "next available agent will attend" + it also gives you an estimated wait time, which is never less than 170 minutes, once I got 290 minutes too. Same with phone calls, you get music and an automated reply, "your call will be attended by the next available agent" Currently, while I am writing this review, I am on a call listening to their automated response for the last 45 minutes.
