Cambodia Angkor Air

Great Low cost airline – We flew Angkor air from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Easy checkin, left on time, and inflight service was efficient. Flight times changed a month before the flight and we were notified by email. I would recommend this airline to anyone travelling in Cambodia.
Abandoned by Cambodia Ngkor Air – Traveling from Sihanoukville to Siem Reap on Angkor Airlines on Friday 26th April, we could not believe that an airline could be so callous. They blamed the weather at Sihanoukville, but it was perfectly clear with very high cloud, no… Read more
problems at all. Initially, the management indicated that they would bus us to Phnom Penh and then fly us to Siem Reap the next morning, since there were no flights out of SV until Monday. But then it all became too hard for the manager Mr [name removed], and Angkor Air just walked away and abandoned us all. "Go get a refund on your flight if you can"! Given the imperative to be in Siem Reap for business and connections a group of 8 flight passengers had to endure a night of hell on the terrible Cambodian highways to get to Siem Reap at 4.30 am the next day. Flying on to Phnom Penh a few days later on Angkor Air, to catch our international connections, the flight was again more than an hour late getting us to the city near midnight. And the status of the old prop plane was diabolical. Nothing really worked, seats had no locks and flopped around, seat bets refused to lock and the plane made lots of strange noises which even had the cabin crew looking scared. Hard to say what the service was like since there's was a total lack of communication on all occasions. Never again!
Mismanagement by the airline
