Very useful Campark Solar Trail Hunting Camera 24MP 1080P Model TC15 $83 – In July '23, I bought this trail cam through Ebay to check on what has been denting and making holes in a boundary fence. Seller was joymyzone (13812) My wife applies the settings to use and finds it easy enough to do so. It’s also easy to strap to trees near the fence. The range of settings available should satisfy most users. For photos we have… Read more
it set for 3 minutes apart. It only goes off if something moves. Video we had run for 3 minutes, but we'll decrease that to 1 minute in future while it's at the fence. So far we haven’t seen anything damaging the fence but plenty of wildlife (kangaroos and wombats plus ferals: foxes, deer) on each side of the fence caught on still photos both day and night. We have more recently set it to video and it has caught kangaroos day and night, a dragon climbing the tree in foreground, a Swamp wallaby at night. Being solar charged it appears to keep it operating. PROS: works well day and night easy to set up good range of settings available for photos and videos photos are generally clear the 128GB card we put in was still storing images over 2 months while we were away The screen is OK for viewing in the field the HD allows for very good viewing on computer and TV CONS: If the object is too close to the camera at night, the photo may be washed out in the foreground
Photos: the camera set up; different light conditions - wildlife day time, wildlife night time. I tried uploading a night video of a swamp wallaby on this review, but I think a 3 minute one may be too big as it keeps failing when it gets to about 8%.
