Good – I got this camera to replace the IXUS 30 that I was using. The IXUS 70 is just an improvement on the IXUS 30 I found. It takes very good photos however there are more impressive camera out there if you want to pay that little bit extra like the panasonics. The size is great and fits easily into your pocket. If you are looking for a very good take… Read more

everywhere camera then this one is good and cheap. Nice small camera that fits in your pocket. It takes good images and the battery lasts for a very very very long time. The screen seems a bit fragile with slight scratching appearing.

Excellent – This is a great camera! It's really good value, it takes great photos and they are very good quality for a small camera - normally you would need a larger camera or SLR to get photos like these. There's lots you can do with it if you take the time to learn. Really love & recommend this camera! Good value, takes great photos, really good size -… Read more

easy to carry with you in pocket or bag. Good battery life & re-charge options. The software that comes with it is quite confusing, it's better to use Picasa or similar to edit the photos.

Excellent – An excellent family photo camera, easy to use, reliable and great value for money. Good battery life. Good quality photos, nice resolution to print and work with. Have had this camera for 3 years and still love it. Good value, takes great photos. Easy to carry with you in pocket.Ours has been used and used.It has traveled all over the place. We… Read more

have had no issues with it. Really good battery life & re-charge. Menu options are not too technical. Zoom function is good. Easy to view shots on screen at back of camera. There isn't much I dislike. When I first bought it I was told by the salesman it would need the extra memory card so bought that as well. Its handy but the camera had plenty of shots without it. There is minimal warning when the battery goes flat camera just stops working. I think it is a little slow for action shots and generally they can come out a little blurry but then this camera is not really designed for highly technical or professional shots. Software is a little cumbersome until you get used to it.

OK – Great camera, have had a few issues with the screen on the back however other than that it has been very reliable. Battery life is incredible, it lasted a two week holiday without needing to be charged. Taking over 2500 photos, not to mentions videos also. Picks up the face of the person being photgraphed and focus's on them. Great lightweight… Read more

camera that is worth the money paid for it.

No longer available brand new but would recommend if had the chance to buy again. Compact, great battery life, great zoom, video feature. Can take up to 16Gb SD card. Uses universal SD cards. Soom loses focus quickly, screen not as big a the new cameras.

Small and compact, Simple to use – After using one of these for a couple of months at work I purchased one for the fairer half. She wanted a camera that was small, light, could take good pictures and would fit in her hand bag. This was over two years ago now and the little camera is still going strong. The camera has taken over 6000 photos now and the work one is fast… Read more

approaching 10000 pics.

The thing I like most about this camera is the size of it. Picture quality is fantastic at 7.1 mega pixels. I like that it has the rechargeable battery, nothing worse than having cameras that use AAA or AA batteries eating them like chocolates. Small, Takes Great Pictures, Rechargeable Battery, Easy to Use Haven't found anything I don't like about it

Good – a great camera to use, with easy menus, and a menu dial that I should think most people could understand. I would recommend this camera to others. Great camera, I use this when I am not using my Pentax SLR, good for taking to parties, or just to keep in the car etc. Great that it takes SD memory cards as I can use my cards from my SLR camera.… Read more

Battery life is good, and image quality is fantastic once you load them onto your computer. Could be a better/bigger LCD screen but the Ixus 75 takes care of that.

Excellent – This is a great camera in a small package. If you are like me and just want to take a photo without having to worry about settings, then this is the camera for you. Simple to use but loaded with features if you want to utilise them, plus the face detect makes focusing a breeze. Fast startup, small and functional, big clear lcd screen, face detect… Read more

technology, simple to use, minimal time between shots. Not a great deal to dislike about this unit. It has movie recording with sound but if you want to play it back on the unit you can't hear the sound.
