Canon IXUS 700

Excellent – Love this camera, went from an Olympus to this little unit and can not believe the ease of operation and quality of prints. Size of screen, viewfinder, simplicity of use Instruction manual a bit hard to understand...will stick with auto funciton

Bad – Good small camera that you can carry in my hand bag. Could have better and longer battery life as I some times forget that's in my bag as its so small and when I do remember the batteries are flat

quality is just amazing. It's hard to believe that cameras have come so far to this day. The camera is quite expensive but all electronics are these day so it's understandable.

Excellent – Love it I always have it in my handbag because of my work hair and make up artist ,the photos of peoples faces turn out pretty which is always nice . Anyone with small kids will really make use of the kids & pets shooting mode -- extremely useful as kids are hardly stay still in front of cameras. Useful for short video shots too. Had red eye reduction -- no more red eyes in pictures anymore. mono recording microphone only. No ISO800. Only JPEG format supported and no support for RAW mode support. Flash range limited to 5 meters.

Excellent – I’ve had this camera for a week now and its fantastic, the macro mode and detail were astonishing, so far I have no complain and its excellent, small enough though. very user friendly and reasonable priced

Good – Overall, it's a decent camera that performs those day to day functions with ease. high quality and you can make super large photo print outs due to this. I like the feature where it analyses the scenery and it automatically adjusts brightness and contrast to achevie the best picture outcome. Has plenty of built in memory. very compact and affordable. None so far

Good – The camera has great results for a reasonable price. I have 2 children who use the camera and never have a problem with it. Easy to put photos on computer. Can not go past tis one Great and easy to use, practicle to carry in a bag or even in pocket.

Pentax in the snow, which I thought was the best one yet. But when I bought this one on the way home from snow, it was so much better. Great quality, ease of use, and very good prints from it. Nice and small, which is a great point for me, as I carry it everywhere in my hand bag. Goes everywhere with me! Hard to see screen in bright sunlight and smears from oil in skin.

I only use the optical zoom ordinarily but the digital zoom is useful if you have a steady base, otherwise you will likely lose focus.

Macro mode is excellent and easily engaged/disengaged.

This camera can do anything that you need it to do including multi-shot, black and white, sepia, video (with audio), etc..

Overall I rate this camera very highly and would very much recommend it to anyone. Despite the camera being relatively old it is still the match of many newer models and can do everything that my friend's brand new Sony can do. sleek design, large screen, good balance, not too small (!!), lots of manual adjustments possible Flash not too good (like most other competitors), can be difficult to navigate options menu to make full use of manual settings

Excellent – OVerall I think you should definitely buy this camera. It will never let you down. Highly recommended and great for family use. Compared to me previous two digital cameras, a Sony and an Olympus, this seems to be the best quality. However I do have misgivings about the difficulty of the menu system, and how fussy the camera is at recognising SD cards (it won't recognise and cards over 2GB, and there are some cards that it simply refuses to recognise even though I can use them in other cameras, my PDA, the card reader in my computer, etc.). Small, easy to use, lightweight, pretty good image quality. Menu system can be hard to use, can't always make the flash do what I want it to, does not support all SD cards.
