Canon IXUS 870 IS

Excellent – I absolutely love this camera! It's small, lightweight and takes fantastic photos. I love the rotating scroll mechanism to change between modes. While most cameras nowadays have automatic setting detections, this camera is probably more useful in manual mode because you can change the light and mode settings so quickly inbetween photos. After a year of heavy usage, the camera still works perfectly fine, but the flash will start to smoke after a few shots. Rather than repair it, I use it for macro shots since I didn't have an international warranty and bought it in Singapore. (The technician believes it just needs a part replaced). I loved this versatile camera so much that I bought another of the exact same model. My friends absolutely love the aquarium mode on it. This model is no longer available at the camera stores, but you can still find it online. Easy to change between settings, easy menu, fantastic photos. Nothing at all!
