Canon PowerShot SX10 IS

Excellent – Great camera for the target market who want a more powerful camera without the hassle of independent lenses. Supports the home-brew CHDK firmware which adds all the missing software options like RAW output. I have found this an exceptionally good camera for outdoor photography with many people commenting on the quality of the images produced. In low light it is more capable than many compact cameras but with a relatively slow charging flash and long exposures times needed when zooming it shows its limitations. Powerful zoom. Takes standard AA batteries. Full auto mode, full manual mode and several in between. Poor in low light for the cost.
